@@broken414_ I’ve been doing d2d for about six years. I know the guy who recruited Taylor. It is EXTREMELY HARD, I agree. I think Taylor is an anomaly and debatably the greatest d2d salesman to walk this earth.
@@broken414_ if you are just starting out the number one piece of advice I can give you is learn everything about your product and develop a conviction. If you don’t sound like someone who’s being doing this for 20 years no one is going to buy from you let alone if you sound like a rookie. Be nice, accept that rejection is part of the game, and find your belief within yourself to keep going. You got this 👍
I can see the struggle going door to door. I could never do it, but if you need a spokes person for NEM 3.0, I am your guy. I missed the boat on NEM 1.0 and 2.0 when I purchased solar this Summer. While it's now called SPB (Solar Power Billing) some refer to it as NEM 3.0. You are welcome to call it whatever you like. I am very pleased with my system even if I make almost nothing selling back to the grid. My home is powered by solar during the day and draws from a Tesla Powerwall at night. The grid does nothing for me unless there comes a time that I can't generate enough electricity during the day. Since I live in the middle of the Mojave Desert, that's likely not to happen very often. Unlike NEM 1.0 and 2.0 customers, I still have power to critical loads if there is a power outage. And one more bonus; Tesla offers me up to $300 a year to be a Virtual Power Plant by selling electricity from my battery during periods of high demand on the grid. Yes, I am very happy as a NEM 3.0 solar customer. It's nice not having to play give and take with the utilities since I generate and use my own electricity
Bro this could be so intimidating having so many people tell you no almost to the point where it's discouraged I don't know what it is about me but I actually find that s*** exciting I don't know if I'm crazy or not but that would motivate me to do better and better
Did they leave their gate open before u left it open? If not, u can be morally/legally liable if some toddler, pet etc. escapes, gets hurt, cause an accident etc. Do u sell Tesla panels in CA? I lost your email
I don’t think he was even pitching ownership at all in this video. He mentioned “You could buy the solar, finance it and pay for it. That’s not what I’m approaching you with”
He’s in California, in Cali since batteries are mostly required PPAs make more sense than ownership bc monthly payment is lower, and the battery is covered for 25 years but with ownership it’s only covered for 10-12 years. Also you make more commission bc you can price higher
Nem 3.0 throwing a curveball in your guy's business. Since nem 3.0 got introduced I dont see as many door knockers in my neighbor here in Orange County. Coincidence? Who knows
New net metering program. Disincentivizes “selling power back to the grid” and makes the Batteries basically essential for making solar advantageous for the homeowner
They will still have a bill to pg&e and monthly solar bill no matter how many batteries you put on the system under NEM 3. Not really explaining things correctly…
If you watch the raw footage on Knockstar U its all explained 1000 percent correct based on there designs usage etc when im Doing the blitz”s i work with multiple Companies utility providers and when the paperwork is being Ok”d the Reps i have with me go over everything in detail on the agreement utility etc based on the market and the welcome call at the end These are just the vlogs the raw footage has the entire sale
This guy is what gives solar sales a bad name. He is lying from word one. He is from sales, and they are signing an agreement for that site survey. He is straight up tin maning people. Just is sicking.
Im not in sales im in service this is a service not a sales process change your thinking watch the raw footage everything was disclosed there installed and happy

So your not selling solar system. Then what are you selling ?
The power the system produces :) not the panels
Do you always pitch ownership unless they are retired and can't claim the fed? Love all the vids!

what city in California are these guys going door to door? And what solar sales company are they from?
It was Canyon Country with Sunrun
This area looks like San Fernando, which is edison too
I’m also interested. It’s not SunRun. Minute 10:01 implies it’s another company 😮💨
Insane
🔥
6:39 these guys are not from sunrun. What solar company are they from? They sell sunrun?
Mr.Mcarthy has trained many solar amateurs, he’s a beast that loves spreading his talent 💪🏽
Independent contractor, you just connect your business with an installer that offers Sunrun. You make more money this way too!💰
He's a middleman and do yourself a favor and go through Tesla. Way less expensive for solar and/or the battery.
13:09 nice
how do these vids not have more views
People just like to watch the wrong stuff
Oh let’s dooo it
🔥
You need to come ball with the dream team at VITL🤙🏽
Tell them to hit me up on IG
hahaha the bird
lol
Taylor, Like your style. BO$$

PSA: buy your own DIY solar kit for $10k and install it yourself.
Imagine ignoring someone’s request for solace in their own home, and then proceeding to drag it on with annoying jokes after getting called on it.
People are unaware of the benefits that solar can provide

Even in SDG&E and Edison…
