Longines Flagship (dress), Hydroconquest (daily) plus a GShock here. I won't pay 5-6 grand for a watch when a 2 grand worth of watch delivers exactly the same specs in terms of accuracy, looks, etc.
I was wearing my white g shock today, and my friend thought I'd been taken to hospital and had forgotten to take off the NHS issue identity band.
LOL. A lot of this is spot on. I love Tudor, and GS. I drive a Toyota. I stand in the corner of parties b/c I'm tired of explaining things to people....LOL
You guys are all missing the point. GS owners don't go to "parties" to begin with. They masterfully and elegantly dodge this bullet by dining out and going to theatres.
Don't tell me the kinds of people.
Simply tell me what the watch says.
For example play with the watch and make it speak. Like say playing with toys.
On an underdeveloped country such as mine (México), getting a Tudor isn’t a small victory, but a life’s triumph lol.
Wait, so you’re telling me that if I buy a Skydweller I CAN’T just fly any vehicle I want? Unbelievable
Andrew - I must be schizophrenic? I own 55 watches from vintage classic dress watches to sports to modern Gshocks from literally every brand -/m mechanical and Quartz
People that buy a seamaster are people that want a submariner; but have enough sense to not overbuy on an inflated price so they settle for the literal next best thing. People that buy a panerai want a submariner but dont want to overspend on an omega (I know what I said lol). People that buy a gschok want a submariner. Sorry lads, no joke there. Someone who buy a black bay 58 are people that wanted a submariner but tell themselves they prefer the "quirkness" of the tudor lineup and their "bold colors" and "oppressively ugly hands". People that buy a grand seiko are people that wanted a grand seiko lol. No jokes to be had there either. People that buy a brietling are middle aged white men that think it looks cool with their C3 corvette; oh they also want a submariner. People that buy a royal oak already have a submariner. People that buy a hublot dont care lol. People that buy a submariner are between the ages of 10 and 107.
I'm an Omega wearer who drinks lager, wears trainers and drives a hot hatch. I just like nice watches.
I wear my dads Rado Diastar Gold The Original Model,
My son wears. Omega Deville,
My wife wears a Longines
As a everyday beater i wear Tag aqua racer 200m diver,
I feel like buying a new pair of deck shoes
