@@jackfiddleton that doesn't mean that kind people only exist because they had abusive parents though ..
the question is what kind of wprld do we want to bring children into? one where children feel safe and are nurtured to be secure and thoughtful or one where no one does anything to stop kids being abused by the very people their brain has no protection from?
      and what beliefs justify these?

This is a clear case of full blown Narcassistic Sociopathic behavior. She was a victim herself from one or both of her Parents whom chose to repeat this toxic abuse instead of ....learning how NOT TO BE. She is now being faced with the truth of what she is and there is NO amount of therapy that can help her. The subconscious mind has been programmed in abuse therefore she would never ever have chosen to ask for help if her beautiful kids didn't bring this to light. Nobody can help her other than herself but because she lives in a delusional mind set, this cannot ever change period...

As much as I love seeing families heal and to see people change for the better, the unfortunate truth is people like this never change. The only way to deal with abusive people is to erase them from your life completely, whether it'd be cutting all ties with them or getting them convicted for their abuse so they can't hurt anyone else, it is to big of a risk to let people like that into your lives hoping that they will change, because it will never happen. Abusers are unchangeable, and instead of getting the abuser help, people should focus on getting help for the people the abuser has hurt and make sure that they can live the rest of their lives happy and never have to worry about being hurt again. As for the abuser, either lock them up or cut them out of your lives; it is the safest and best possible solution.
