the moms definition of abuse is obviously altered from her own abuse as a kid. she needs it REdefined and explained
She accidentally slipped and told the truth when she went into the comment of "they are good children" and realised what she was implying, hence the pause. It made her sound like the crazy one "I hit them even tho they were always good kids all along" 😂
This sounds like the most dangerous home. I don't think these people need to live together.

"I had just had surgery on my leg and she started punching me in it." Umm, hello? You just admitted that you pushed your daughter to the floor - and now you're implying that SHE went out of the way to hurt you in the leg you had had surgery on?! Wow. Just wow.
As someone who has an amazing mother who sent me to the corner whenever I got in trouble, it’s hard to imagine mothers out there like this, who only impact their kids negatively.
The mother deserves to be completely alone

It's hard to watch this person try to defend the defenseless... really makes me want to look at my own parenting. My girl is 8 and we fight, but it is mainly me stressing out and taking it out on her. She deserves a soft place to fall every single day, with her mom being (acting like) her biggest fan. I love Dr. Phil for showing us the parts of ourselves we need to work on, especially for our kids ♡ I hope this family went through some healing~ took forever to get that mom to see she is/was horribly abusive and that her girls did not deserve one moment, one second of her abuse, no matter their behavior, half of which would be because thet come from a violent and scary home with a selfish mom in denial.
Good for you for realizing you can do a better job. Kids grow up so quick, don't have any regrets.

After listening to her verbally abuse her daughters. And not take responsibility for what she’s done I can drum up any sympathy. I was abused as a child. I wasn’t this kind of mother.

He simply asked if she said what she clearly said in the video, "If my daughter says something mean again, I'll punch her in the face."
And she says an entire monologue about how her daughters did this and that, and doesn't even acknowledge what Dr. Phil asked her. She's a terrible liar.
This happened to me too😂 i wasnt allowed to take anything so i left then she called the cops and said I ran away. She threw a pot of hot water on that day. Dragged me by my hair across the entire apartment. Kept punching me in the head. I finally pushed her back that night. And never went back.
But she said she never punched her daughters, then admits she told Social Services she would punch her daughter again?
She's violent and abusive!
