Look into epitalon injections for help with your sleep and menopause symptoms.- Not saying you’re having menopause symptoms but if you are…. Anyway you mentioned changing hormones and losing sleep. My mind immediately went to menopause and the science I’ve been reading on epitalon. Now to finish the rest of the video 😅
Infared saunas, too. They claim to have a lot of health benefits, including balancing hormones. I cannot verify this, but I can say that I feel fantastic afterwards. I use the sauna 4 times per week. I do crave it on the days I don’t go. I love it.
I have so many digestive issues since being post-menopause. I do find it’s a bit better if I break down the veggies you’ve mentioned in a smoothie or lightly cooking them. The gassy stomach is getting better 😅
Love your videos, your energy and passion of educating women to live their best mature years. We all deserve to age gracefully and healthily! It's so sad that medical field is overloaded and understaffed and the staff that is working is often outdated in knowledge. You are my favourite overall self-care youtube mentor.
Organic carrots are better for you. Small amounts of Kale.. so you need to heat the kale up to release the enzymes. Blend it.. a smoothie. Fats are very important then soy in sauce or soy to drink. You do need raw or natural high end yogurt. And very good quality milk if you consume it especially for your gut and bones. VitD3 and VitK2 for your health and protection of bones.
Great video! I definitely found increasing magnesium has helped me relax alot more at night, but I never realized how much it could be helpful in a bath as I don't usually use as much magnesium as some of the folks have recommended in the comments. I will have to try that! Another thing that I found that helps support my hormonal balance indirectly, is to really pay attention to the quality of relationships that we are involved in. Depending on the health of them, they may bring benefits or negatively impact us chemically, as well as hormonally.
Yes freaks do that. Liars do too. Empty promises I believed in. Frauds and very disappointed this entity would lie. So glad I’m free from this. Never will I work. I’m retired
✨2 cups is the recommendation for a beneficial Epsom salts bath. So silly to buy an expensive small bag and add a sprinkle to the bath. I buy a 20# bag at a time.❤️✨
I add a lot too. People need to know what is the optimum dose for this (and the supplements for that matter) - most of the time they use bare minimum and then they think it does not work because they don't see the effects. Put two or 3 cups in the bath, stay 40 mins and You will have the best sleep & have renewed energy the next day.
If you have lower blood pressure maybe check with your doctor before taking ashwagandha. I took one ashwagandha supplement and the next day went to my dentist appointment and they checked my blood pressure and I was in low 90’s. Just something to be aware of.
Yes, I'm very interested in adaptogens. I've been taking Rhodiola for a couple of years now, during the times I feel overwhelmed. And it works. Recently, about 1 month ago, I switched to Ashwagandha as my nervous system is on the edge and I started having a lot of muscle spasms, maybe half of the day. After rulling out other issues such as MS, the neurologist prescribed Ashwagandha and my spasms are sooooo much better. From half a day to a couple of minutes cumulated.
Loving you’re blogs very informative,am from the uk in central London, and I have just discovered you’re wonderful channel, you’re skin is glowing I hope you don’t mind me saying but you look amazing I wouldn’t I’ve thought you are almost 50,you look about 32 yr’s no kidding,Keep up the fitness & wellness routine,it’s obviously working well for you Best Wishes always
I would love to learn how to do a deep inflammation cleanse to restart after a major life event ( for me cervical surgery fusion with two artificial discs and a total knee replaced in 6 month period). I’m on HRT for 8 years after hysterectomy and now 55, and feel like a mess after those 2 recent procedures and weight gain.
I started my health journey with electrolymphatic therapy, colonics, food sensitivity test, Dutch hormones test. The tests cut out a lot of guesswork. I learned that tomatoes, wheat and a few more foods I ate every day were inflammatory to my body. Keto has helped me a lot and my faith and prayer has given me the strength to deal with a few toxic people (family members) in my life as well. Good luck and don't look back. You can make a miraculous recovery.
Change your diet do intermittent fasting. Excercise daily. Massage the abdomen area with castor oil. Drink water with lemon and ginger. Do not consume alcohol. Don't est pizzas and don't eat out much.
You mentioned being in HRT. Did you start while in perimenopause? Wished there was more guidance on when to start HRT and where I can find doctors who specialize in this area of medicine.
Chamomile and Kava tea help with sleep. Also using blue light glasses at night with screens makes a big difference. I got a pair through Bon Charge and they’ve helped my sleep. 😊
Thanks so much for this topic! Wonderful information-I knew some of it-had stopped doing others and will start up again -and found some new things to try to-I’m a breast cancer survivor 60 years old and cannot take estrogen so I am doing all I can naturally and I think I’m very successful at most -my job is very stressful and sleep doesn’t come so easily (not many dreams-deep rem sleep) but learning to live with Ease is a big help- as I know this information will be too! 🤗
What you didn’t mention about cruciferous vegetables is to not eat them raw if you have thyroid problems as they can suppress thyroid function. They are ok if they are cooked though. Also it’s not only the fibre and vitamins etc in them that helps hormones, it’s the Indole-3 Carbinol which helps the metabolism of Estrogen particularly with Estrogen dominance. To help this process even more I suggest using a product called DIM which is concentrated Diindolylmethane and you would have to eat a lot of broccoli to get that level contained in those capsules. I also suggest using it with Calcium d-Glucarate to help expel excess Estrogen from the body as it can cycle back around if not eliminated. Calcium d-Glucarate blocks an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase which can interfere with “dirty” estrogen elimination.
Good video , but in my experience greens like kale has huge amounts of oxalates that hurt my joints. Unfortunately. Everything else I follow and have great results with 🙏🏻🌹✨🙏🏻
Myself as well. I’m surprised sometimes how much these kinds of supplements are pushed as they’re actually stimulants to your adrenals. I thought the whole point was to nourish and let the adrenals rest?
Yes, I’d love a video on adaptogens!!! Also infrared saunas and grounding and/or earthing and grounding mats would be awesome videos. I hear they both help with hormone levels naturally but not sure which are best to use that really work. Thanks and loved this video as well!
I just found you and love all you share and your knowledge! I am struggling with menopause… can you do a video on why you chose HRT, which one your taking etc? I am scared and want a bioidentical option. Thank you SO much 😊❤️
Thank you! And I’ve made a few, one with my experience and exactly what I take, and an interview with leading menopause expert Dr Heather Hirsch, and more! ua-cam.com/video/VKMmHs-oNzM/v-deo.htmlsi=aUQ8QZREP3o-66MB
Hello Tracy so glad I found your videos my question is what can us menopausal women do for no desire this is awful how one day we are in the mood then out of the blue it's gone please help us💐💜
I have tried all the storebought melatonin products, sleep gummies, and many of the teaa w valerian, chamomile, etc with no relief. Even tried spray on magnesium…..no effect. Would love a sleep checklist of supplements to try….perhaps quality ingredients or the way they are taken can make a difference??? I also get horrible cramping in my calves that just started and wake me up….i am taking pickle juice for them which is the only thing that helps…..but would prefer to prevent them. Advice?
Hi, try magnesium bisglycinate but higher doses like 700, 800 mg at once at 10 pm or 2 hours before sleep. in a few days, your cramps will be gone and you'll sleep better i promise😊 i take magnesium 400-600 mg every single day and if I dont my mensturation pain comes back
If you are looking for suggestions for supplements to help with sleeping, I will name a couple at the end but I just wanted to pass along what has helped me. This is coming from someone with severe chronic insomnia for MANY years and almost began to feel I would never ever sleep thru the night and just had to accept it. First, the temperature in the room as she said does make a difference. If I'm too hot or too cold I'll keep waking up throughout the night so that may be something to consider. But that isnt the thing I wanted to tell you... What has helped me get more sleep and it shocked me was a sleeping eye mask. I noticed the difference the first night I used it. Prior to using one, I only slept 2-4 hrs every night for years and was exhausted and sleepy all day long. That first night I slept for about 4-5 hrs straight which was very unusual for me. To be honest, my natural sleep pattern is that I sleep about 4-5 hrs a night and my body had adjusted to functioning sleep deprived. And during the course of those 4-5 hrs I wake up several times during the night. However, it may not be big to someone who gets alot of sleep but now I am able to sleep straight thru 5-6 hrs, go back to sleep faster if I wake up whereas before I was staring at the clock and couldn't get back to sleep. On some occasions the sleep mask has enabled me to even sleep 8hrs. It has made a huge difference and there were a few nights I didnt sleep with it and the insomnia came roaring back. I figure since its cheap to buy one you could give it a shot. I was about to hit send and one more idea did come to mind that help me. I don't EVER take naps no matter how sleepy I get during the day and I never use caffiene or anything else to stay awake. I had a doctor tell me to not nap because it could make insomnia worse and for me it was true so I stopped. If I feel myself falling asleep when its not nightime, I immediately do everything I can to wake myself up by moving around or drinking cold water. About the supplements-Have you tried calcium at night, kava pills which helps anxiety & stress they may even have a KAVA tea or I have a friend who is a Medical Assistant and she swears by 5-HTP, but I cant vouch for that one never tried it. She says it puts her in a deep sleep pretty quickly and she takes it when she needs to make sure she gets sleep for something important the next day she needs to do or an event but does not want to be groggy. Maybe you could look into those ideas and see if anything might help. Its miserable not sleeping and I was searching & desparate for anything other than addictive sleeping pills but it would have probably gotten to that point eventually. Hope you find something that helps you!

I tried ashwaganda and it had the opposite effect. Couldnt fall asleep and my heart felt like it was racing.

It can work then suddenly it can stop working. Magnesium Glycinate and Malatate at night will help with sleep. And Melatonin as well.
