Playing D2 Resurrected for a while has made me want to make a mod for it called Heroes. where you can hire 4 companions, they all have their own potion belts and an auto use potion feature, so you can rely on them to use one when they get low on health, but you can still manually give them with hotkeys. i know mercs toward the end start just getting nuked but for SO MUCH of the experience the merc is pivotal, very important, and its very fun looking for / crafting items for them, to improve their importance going forward. So i just keep thinking, what if the game let us have more? undeniably, most people would just stack 4 auras b ecause, of course lol. But the idea that I could have 4 act 1 archers, and work on gearing them up with amazon runeword bows and farming for high end stuff for them..... and actually play as a tank / support that keeps monsters off my little archer squad.... that feels amazing to me. Or like, get 4 barbs, and play as a healer

When you upload videos it has to process the SD version and then the HD version... when the SD version is processed the video will go up on youtube and the viewers will view it in a lower quality until the HD version is uploaded.

Based on what I can tell from testing the Randomizer, uniques are well... unique in that the stats are random pretty unique. Set items, however, at seed based and while the initial stats will be randomized, every duplicate of that set item will have the same stat types of varying degrees. So one Cleglaw's Claw might give you 15-20 fire melee damage and another might give you 16-21 but Cleglaw's Claw will always have that fire damage stat on that seed. Also the Randomizer has an option to limit the level of the enchantment type to within a certain distance of the item level so you can't get conviction aura at lvl 1 and stuff.
I have started trying out 45x with a lvl 80 mediocre Hammerdin I had laying around, cows were doable, but getting into the Chaos Sanctuary was nigh impossible. I'm going to try a Javazon next, been a long time since I used one. And for those interested: this mod does work alongside Pluggy.
You should seriously use the oskills option. That allows characters to use skills from other classes. Completely changes the game and allows you to make builds that weren't possible before. I know that was possible with SOME skills in vanilla D2 (like Whirlwind), but with the mod it allows ANY skill from ANY class at ANY level to be put on an item. The possibilities are endless.
I used to play this all the time untill 1.09 was finished. Going to defiantly play the d2r. Thinking about getting it again even beforehand but already pre ordered so I dunno yet. Anyhow. I have seen some of your videos here and there and watching this I am very surprised you only have 120k subs... I really hope that D2R really jumps that number for you. As the content you put out is very helpful. On top of that you seem a very genuine person and I feel you deserve more for the work you put into this channel. The den was a good example of why I said a auradin would be best for paladin to do 45 times density. Over levels aura kills groups faster than pretty much anything. Lightning aura can dish out damage in the hundreds eventually
@@arrgghh1555 that's where being over leveled comes in. The auras damage will be relevant through at least all of normal and for tougher targets just zeal
I got everything to mimic this but the only thing is you receive WAY more sets and uniques than I do..am i missing a setting somewhere in d2modmaker? I've gone through a chunk of A1 and have yet to see anything above a yellow, lol.

i dont know this mod, but does it change the way poison works? u cant use poison creeper AND rabies together, since one will overwrite the over, depending which has the higher tickrate. so one will always be useless ... points in creeper are good for synergy, but dont use it actively -- therefore it isnt spreading rabies
If you asking about license - no, this mod (actually not a mod, just a script) do not check anything. It works fine with 1.13/1.14 whether it genuine or ripped. It works fine with plugy, glide, and maybe compatible with some other mods.
MrLlama Im to much of a Noob when it comes to D2... Ive only played PoD and PD2 as of recent (never played Bnet/original) In this Solo player Mod you cant get lootfilter?
Why does mrLlama always mash out the /players command? I play 1.14 and even on a new character you need only type /players once and the game will remember if you press up.

I feel the game should have a random item optmizer, "purple" melle that can roll 6 random permanet afixes, that can have up to 2 mid level skills on equip and ability to craft and recraft more afixes from rare items and yellow "rare" charms should be a thing,
Ultra-wide monitor -- I can see them balancing that with just having the far left/right being dark and unlit where it matters (Dungeons/wilderness and basically everywhere there are mobs) but in towns and such, or for character info tabs, then make use of full screen. First Character? Definitely my Sorceress. I always do MF sessions with a Sorc, just for convenience, and you can run Goldwrap/Chance Guards/2-3 socket hat with topaz really early on for extra MF chance. Throw in a pair of Vidala's fetlocks and you're set for a very long while, as long as you play carefully. But after that one, everything opens up, depending on what gear/rune you find. I'm just very angry that they wont allow Ladder Runewords outside of ladder. It's been a pet peeve of mine for so long (and Thank you PluggY!) What did you like about Diablo3 ? Honestly choosing the gender of the characters was pretty sweet to me. tbh it's one feature which is 100% cosmetic that I would like in D2. Other than that, I agree with you. There's far more that I disliked that I liked, but I gave it a fair shake.

I feel like the D2 remake team, since it's not going to overwrite your base D2 folder/files, should make an option that can be *toggled* on/off with completely reworked balance. Not adding/removing skills, but just making more classes and options for those classes function. Like every druid shouldn't HAVE to run *just* wind druid. All their other skill paths should be viable too - fire, wolf, bear, summoner. In this way they could retain the old player base, give the old player base that wants something new more, and add more options for new players to indulge in as they explore a classic.
@xdeadmeatx That's too much work for blizzard, and also starts pushing the bounds of wanting too many little tweaks and things here and there that some people may want and others don't, making it a bit unreasonable. Just balance fixes that can be toggled is where I would leave it.

the mod is from Breath of the Dying runeword, which requires level 69 for the Zod rune... well, if you get it on level 20 this is what happens
