- Werbung // A wonderful Yoga Flow every time you want to calm down & need a deep stretch for your whole body. After a workout, in the morning or before bed!
It is suitable for intermediates but if you are a beginner: don't worry. Always listen to your body and do whatever is possible for your level of flexibility.
You can do this routine any time of the day, but I personally love to do it:
1) after a STRENGTH WORKOUT - in order to give my muscles a good stretch, preventing stiffness and keeping my body flexible enough to perform my gym exercises with a good technique (think about deadlifts!)
2) in the MORNING to wake up my body - to kickstart my day right and enjoy some me-time before getting in the daily rush that we call "life". Finding your inner balance helps you so much when facing any challenges!
3) or before BEDTIME in order to relax - leave all bad feelings behind and get yourself in the mood for a beautiful night of sleeeeeep.

This routine is created by my yoga teacher and personal trainer Maulim, who took care of me at my 1-Week Energizing Program during my vacation on the Maldives at VELAA Private Island.
I followed whatever she was doing, so if you are unsure about movements: rather look at her! :D She's a certified yoga instructor, I am not.
I never dared to film a yoga video on my own because I'm not a certified instructor and didn't want to show anything that's "wrong". But yoga is a beautiful thing - for your mind, body and soul. So make sure to give it a try! ♥︎

I did a 1-week training & nutrition program on the Maldives - it's called "The Energizing Program" - and followed a specific plan that they designed for me and my body type :) just a different and more active kind of vacation! Nutrition-wise my meals were plant-based and very high in healthy fats (lots of nuts, seeds, olives, pesto, coconut, ..), low in sugars (only fruit, no processed sugars at all) and medium protein. I had sports sessions every day. For example strength sessions in the gym, HIIT, water sports and one of my favorites: YOGA. Since I loved those yoga hours so much, I thought I'd share a part of this wonderful experience with you!! ♥︎

She trains 3 times a week for one hour and does 20 minutes cardio and 40 minutes strength as I know. But because I don't to tell you something wrong, there is an interview where she explains that :)

Same, doing for the first time sitting on my mat at my countyhouse garden, birds sunshine and stuff but kinda not feeling it... i always loved hardcore workouts and figure out that this yoga thing is not quiet my style😅 i just think it doesnt worth the time when u just can do a really good workout instead🤷♀️

Just practise! I started with not touching and now its easy and I can touch the ground without pain.

I used a block to feel the stretch and without bending my knees! :)
Lol. That was me about a year ago. I was probably the least flexible person in the history of people, and now I can go all the way down and fold over my legs without them bending; I can even go through my legs. I’m training to be a contortionist, so it’s pretty hardcore.

This was my first ever yoga session in my life! For me it was pretty hard and not too relaxing but I’ll keep trying and hopefully I’ll get better soon

See it actually depends on your level of fitness that can either make you feel relaxed and ease or challenged
Maybe look for relaxing yoga when you need to relax. Every session has a different intentions

Thank you for having edit this Pamela. It 's not the yoga I'm used to, I thought the postures were hold for a bit too long but I really can tell at the end of the session I was much more flexible and relaxed than at the begining. So it reminds me to stay open for new styles cause they can bring me some good even if they seem weird at the first sight !

Hey Pam,
I am loving what you are doing but unfortunately, I need to leave some criticism for this video.
This session includes great poses but are for people with previous experience already!
These asanas (poses) are too little described and also, too advanced for beginners which could make them hurt a lot.
As a beginner, it is very important to not have the legs straight in the forward fold as it could hurt the body through overextending and not enough warm up.
While rising, the knees need to be bend for the same reasons.
In "Pigeon" (17:45) it is necessary to check if the back leg is straight.
Bending forward during that is a pretty advanced pose and could be frustrating to beginners who aren't that bendy yet.
There are a few things where I saw too advanced or too fast movements and could in the end really hurt your follower.
I am a Yoga student myself and those are the things that I have learned so far.
Maybe you will do another flow with a teacher who is willing to slow it down even more and explain it more detailed.

if anyone ever feels bloated i suggest doing this, i was so bloated to the point i was cramping so hard, so i did this Yoga Flow because i know stretching helps with everything and afterwards i felt amazing ! i drank some tea afterwards and feel asleep . this works magic if your lactose and you accidently consume cheese lol

Wow das ist so ein schöner Ausgleich zu deinen an deren Fitnessvideos. Ich liebe s Yoga zu machen, aber alleine kann ich es nicht und auf UA-cam ist es schwierig ein gutes Yogavideo zu finden mit einer angenehmen Stimme. Das Video ist aber perfekt, weil du auch so eine angenehme Stimme hast.

Great practice not what I would consider a flow, many static poses, which isn’t bad but not a traditional fluid moving flow.

First Time I've ever done yoga. Since I'm not a teeny tiny bit flexible this was soo frustrating, because I couldn't do a single pose right 😩 I really hope this gets better with trying more and more! I would love to feel calm and good afterwards, but I guess this just takes a litte bit more time for me and less self criticism. 🙈 Of course the end did kind of calm me down, but I hope my overall feeling during a session will improve over time ☺️
