    The Yoke is one of the only strongman implements I don't have, and it's mostly due to cost. They're so expensive. So this DIY is perfect!!!

    I use these for squats as I don’t have a rack at home and no one to spot me. Have you come across any other exercises you can do with them?

      To be honest- I have not thought of any other exercises. I did a search for others- but came up empty handed. For squats, does that mean that you have to start the movement at the “bottom” of the rep?

      @@DesignBuildLift had the same experience as yourself, tricky to find any other exercises along the way. But I know it’s really just one main purpose.
      Yeah I crouch under it then start from the bottom, it’s quite good for reps. You can just sit on your backside to bail out and let the bar roll off your back when it gets too much.

    How much weight can you load on this?

      The lowest weight capacity of all the individual components will determine the overall weight capacity of the overall “system” - and generally speaking that will be the weight capacity of your carabiners… (they will tend to be the “weakest link”). Different carabiners have different weight capacities - but you can easily purchase ones that will exceed the limits of human strength.

    Yo love your alternative creative mind!
    Them weighted yoke exercises as well as weighted squat exercises compresses your spine. Not good. The alternative is landmine squats works the legs like squats but without compressing the spine rather decompresses the spine.
    Please come up with alternative landmine piece of a equipment. Thanks.

      Have you tried belt squats? I think they are great and are less taxing on the back.
