    I'm the owner! Really had an amazing time and Misha is really nice. His car control is out of this world and really shows the potential of the car.
    Would definitely do this again but first I'm going to get some more upgrades so it's a bit more track friendly. Also had an instruction lap of Misha after which I can highly recommend (where I drive and he tells where to brake, take the corner etc).
    Next time I will come back on a slightly less hot day. 30 degrees is hard on the car and tires but it did well :)

      @@stoneeh so i personally do a lot of track sessions. however mostly they are technical tracks. wittch cap around 150-160. and most corners are 2-3th gear. and i have no problem with going wide or even grass.. however! I also drive to work.. useing highway ish road.. and i often push to around 190-230 depends on traffic.. and whenever i watch onboard of misha going.. narrow bumpy road.. with compressions ann all that and corner.. and i see how chassy is working and he is just bouncing in that seat.. trusting that... yeah suspension got this. and he still keeps it pinned 200+ scares me.. i don't know if i would be able to keep that high speed sections at similar level.

      @@MaciekJutrzenka yep. I suppose in modern cars the suspension technology is such that little can go wrong. However, that is not the case for my car - despite putting a Bilstein B12 in, and some other improvements, it's still an old suspension design with a solid rear axle. Then again, Sport Auto did a 9:25 with it 30 years ago, on stock suspension, on those terrible tires back then.. so I guess you _can_ floor it and not die :)

    Great video!
    Never discount a Forrester STi, there was an autocross about ten years ago or so that had an absolute downpour of rain. The fastest car of the day was a Forrester STi, beating all of the “race cars” and R35 GTR and every single street car that day. The owner was very proud!

      Forester STI has a very short wheelbase making it very nimble. Also front and rear suretrac differentials

    I got my worst speeding ticket on the way home after work in an 03 2.5 NA forester. It took me about 20 minutes of full throttle to get to 195kmh 🤣 still a fun car in the snow until the second set of HG blew.

      Planning to do so. But I will only do that also when I have put in forged pistons which will happen at some point. So I can return with 400hp and I will put track pads in it and let him retry it. Also ordered stiffer springs with higher spring rates all around so combat roll (also to lower the Forester more)

    Awesome Daily bro. You held on to that handle while Misha breezed thru green hell...I'd be too on any unfamiliar track. Built a daily 03 sti fozzy for my wife & she just loves the Highways mornings work traffic "on ramps"(downshifts & ups the RPMs & shifts her way getting to the thru lanes & after work as she exits highway "off ramps" Breezing at 60MPH which is basically a mini circle track.....she loves it!!!

    I used to have a black SG9 with a 2-liter naturally aspirated engine. A few months ago, I rolled over for 55 meters and ended up submerged in a river. I didn’t have a single injury and swam out of the car. I owe my life to its safety. It didn’t have a turbo, but driving it was incredibly fun, and I miss it. Now, I continue my journey with a Subaru XV.

    i think the best upgrade for brakes after you know doing big brake kit is a cooling kit soo many do big brake but they have no ducting to cool them down, there are kits out there but you can easily make a diy kit

    Brakes...until I raced didn't appreciate them ....a good set of front discs + 6 pot calipers + braided hoses (say AP Racing or Alcon) and an Impreza stops as well as a gt3rs.. need strong brakes if you want to stop quick (and good tyres..)

    Very cool video to see, as usual.Mishas driving is fantastic, you are - as Marvin said - blown away from whats possible with your car when it's driven by someone who knows what he's doing at the Track,
    and veeerry cool car 😎 😎👍
    With an oilcooler it will work 😉 i tried 😅 My car is the other Subaru Misha mentioned i guess - had the same heat issues and my brake fluid gave up to early - so I went home, put new and proper brake fluid in the following days, installed an oilcooler and changed the suspension setting a bit - tested it again on the Nordschleife - works better now 😊 At 30° it had 105° Oil and 102° water when arriving at Steilstrecke. Thats ok I think 🙂

    • @marvinvisser5039
      @marvinvisser5039 2 роки тому +1

      Nice! Yeah I might consider an oil cooler with internal thermostat. But will have a look how to route it as the lines will be close to the exhaust manifold.

    • @plasmablue_sti6945
      @plasmablue_sti6945 2 роки тому +1

      @@marvinvisser5039 it depends which kit you use, but it will get close to the manifold with eyery kit somehow, but it's doable 😊👍 I have a Mocal sandwich plate with 90° thermostat and a 15 row cooler behind the left front fog light cover. In daily use normally it's not necessary, but on the Ring it will give you some more safety for the EJ25 😊
