10:24 Verdict - Авто та транспорт
What an awsome day this was, it was the most exciting but scary thing ive ever done 😂 coming up to the first corner over 100+mph was the scariest part but then after that just a grin from ear to ear as you can see 😂😂, first time at the nurburgring and first time taking a car on track too. Misha is an epic driver and has some balls and trust to jump in a car hes litrallt been in for 2 minutes and drive it like he does. Other than the oil temps the car performed effortlessly, oil temps could of been set a little higher but didnt want to push my luck after being on the gp track all day. We managed to get on the track with misha literally 1 minute before it shut. We will be back next year 👌
great fun car you got there :D
Hi
What size radiator did you install?
What is the grade of the oil?
@THESHADOW97139 Millers oils 10w50 and a 10row oil cooler, oil temp buzzer was set to 120c so could of set it higher. I've never managed to get oil temps over 117c, but I never driven it like misha 😂 its in a bad place to be fair as the bumper support blocks 40% of it but didn't want to start cutting holes in it
thanks for letting Misha drive this, always wanted to see one of them used properly. not a subaru guy but this is a dream car for sure!
Nice report. Yes, if you haven't done it before it's certainly an experience of a lifetime. You instantly make me wanna go back for another run too 😁. I wonder if Misha will actually be able to handle all requests from now on, hehe :)
Hey Misha! Just want to thank you for putting the vehicle in the title or in the description. When I'm going through your videos and I want to watch something specific it makes is WAAAY easier to look up. Hopefully you keep doing that! Or putting it in the description! Awesome video as always!
I think the same.
When I liked your comment, it had 206 likes. Thats a coincidence
The craziest part is the subie did this with a loaded car. My STi feels so bloated when I even have one passenger let alone a whole loaded car. I would love to see this car again with just you and car pushing it to the limits!
I'm going back next year, he's more than welcome to take it round himself if he has the time 👌
weight sure makes a difference. i have this cool story of one day i was ripping on the highway about two years ago right after I got my 2005 Acura TL 6 speed. I jumped in to the left lane was hauling ass when I came upon one of those new 5.0 Mustangs. He saw me coming and we couldnt have timed it better if we tried he floored it as I came roaring up and we met door to door at 100 mph and pulled that way up to 150 mph where he finally pulled me by a half car length and we had to let off. Moral of the story was that thing should have dragged me at those higher speeds but he was in a full car of people. And possibly not using the right gears I dont know. Still pulled me after 150 mph, just barely. Touche Mr. Mustang owner, may we meet again some day. I've actually never taken a car that fast before or since and I was on some shitty ass tires. 😂
that's weird, I've never felt bloated regardless of the load. And I've towed about 2,000lbs with 2 passengers, on a stock STi.
@@iamatlantis1 ya sure 150mph in a 2005 acura tl..
@@carlosoruna7174 geared for 157..
Their reactions were fear and excitement at the same time
They seemed to enjoy it though 😂
Love seeing a car full of happy passengers!!
5:19 you can actually see that the car changes direction faster once he let off
Take any small wheelbase FWD car , increase total rear axel roll rate and start to dance with the devil.
It really is a secret sawce to driving Subarus and lots of other cars.
Nice performance considering that Subaru was carrying an extra 400kg of of human weight.
😅✌️
ngl quite impressive with the power and weight
The smiles on their faces is priceless 🙂
Four dudes in that vehicle as well. That's significant weight for the suspension to manage around the ring! I'm 2.5 yrs into the ownership of a '20 STI and I love every minute (aside from long-term stop and go traffic) of the rumble therapy, whether I'm on tight country roads or crushing miles on the highways (USA). The rotation in corners is one of the most remarkable aspects of handling that I've noticed as compared to my previous ride (Integra GS-R).
It’s just so eager to change direction as well
These engines are hand built masterpieces and the S20X models have the entire STi parts list thrown at them. Everyone who owns a Subaru should have an EJ207 in their life.
S206 brakes are hella nice from what I've heard. What a great and rare subie.
And the pads ?.
Yes, I would love to just ride in one someday! I own a 2013 Impreza STi (GV) and it doesn't compare to this haha!
He mentioned that it was on Dixcel pads, curious which compound he is using
even normal sti brakes are good compared to evo
The S-Drive DCCD is what helps "pull" you out of corners, not the handling pack alone. Put the car in manual DCCD and thats where you can really find the sweet spot as its a little unpredictable on earlier versions.
or even auto - would work well
my auto baja turbo does the same thing, i think its just the rear bias awd that these cars have
Amazing lap as always! Since you asked what you get with the S206 NBR Challenge package, (13:44) you get:
STI tuned Bilstein dampers S206 BBS 19-inch forged wheels Brembo 6-pots in the front with 2 peace rotors Brembo 4-pot in the rear flexible front strut tower brace flexible draw stiffener lateral rink with pillow ball bushing special engine balance S206 ECU twin scroll ball bearing turbo S206 sport muffler Large intercooler with S206 logo strengthened intake STI designed air cleaner S206 multi mode VDC
Recaro bucket seats
Carbon roof
Carbon S206 spoiler
Carbon front lip
Special front bumper
Finns on the fender
Lighter hood
Lots of interior dress ups
I’m sure I missed some things 😅
They only made 300 S206 and only 100 of them are equipped with the NBR package. They made these to celebrate their 24h class win.
Misha, when u rewatch this video, it must give you a nice feeling mate, the way you make these people laugh and really enjoy the ride they get with you. The expression on the faces of those 2 in the back is priceless. Keep doing what you're doing! ❤
It's amazing how you can just see how nice the turn-in and rotation is compared to so many of the other cars in these videos.
Big thanks...I've dipped into your videos for a while but now hooked. Fab Subaru experience 👍 only ever driven an 265bhp STi about 20 years ago but still love them.
I'm starting to recognise sections of the track from your vids ☺
9:50 - 10:19 "Oh your car's overheating? That's a shame, let me continue to floor it then stay at 5500rpm..."
122 isn’t that hot
I love his videos but he does that all the time. Almost as if he doesn't have any mechanical sympathy for any car, not even his own.
@@mahlenbiznes3419 122 is still fine , just early warning
@@dielog2211 At 150 you can deepfry chips in the oil.
Your explanation of Porsche's in the end just working is why I switched from an Evo to Porsche, it just worked. Honestly seeing video's like this does make me miss it a bit, but such is life.
Great to see one of these in your hands 😎😎 Love it ❤
These got the way better suited brakes from factory 😅👌
Props to you for really working hard with making new content. Hard to keep up with this many new videos 😄
You have awesome and very interesting cars on your channel, Misha. I really like the look of this Subaru. Thank you for all the content you produce for us. Best wishes Chris
Just wow, this WRX STI S206 handling looks on point!
Seeing the happy face was the best, that smile will not be erased for a long time, that a professional like you drives and gets the most out of your vehicle is priceless... regards misha.
I am surprised how good is the STI! 4 people with stock power pulls pretty darn good! then with more people stock brakes holding this well... the handling.. truly great setup!
Haha super stoked I got to run into you today Misha! The goat in person off my most watched UA-cam channel. You are the man bro! Enjoy your visit
My first Subaru scared the Sh... Out of me when it lift off oversteered 😂. Once you know it does it it's a great tool to control the car.
Great vid and cool to see the lads in the rear seats where enjoying too,!! I would definitely have a code brown sitting there with Misha pushing for lift oversteer 🙂
Impressive machine that. Did the lap amazingly well tbf. The beeps were pretty aggressive I have to say.
Really slick b roll shots on the intro, thanks for investing in the camera kit👍
Water - methanol injection, electronic high pressure water pump, bigger radiator, water sprayer for radiator/intercooler are good mods I would recommend for this beauty. Excellent video, keep up with the great content.
Having that many black ice little trees at once should be illegal
S206 is phenomenal, thanks for putting this up!!
I LOVE THE S206. Thank you for this!
I mean it tells a lot for a car and how good it is when you do a fast lap with 4 people in it😂
Damn…. I teared up a bit when he mentioned Ken Block…. I’m sure he’s doing wicked drifts in heaven. 😢
wrecking drifts
He's also beating himself up over how he could let himself be bested by a frikkin snowscooter of all things. Oh the irony.
Nice to see a subaru again on the channel. Would like to get you into your old impreza. Couple of months away to get a 2.35 engine again to pump up the power again. And some nice handling upgrades to follow.
Always awesome to see Misha in his Subaru roots!
Absolutely love all of your videos
What ironic is that S206 was produced to commemorate Subaru's 'SP3T' class win at the 2011 Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race yet couldn't finish one lap without tantrums.
Misha as always great driving 💪
It was his aftermarket oil temperature gauge that was set too low. 115c is just fine. I don't get nervous until after 135c.
Also the load on the engine being 4 seated adults climbing for 5km? At 7krpm will always chuck some extra heat into the oil
well it certainly seems to drive well despite the beeps
FYI each magic tree is the equivalent of 1KG /minus 1 second per lap. true fact
Damn thats cool! Exactly the same point where my Forester STI overheated but with an oil cooler :') But nice to drive an STI which actually has proper brakes haha
Adding weight in the back helps understeery cars a lot. Adding weight in the back also helps reduce oversteer in FWD cars that are too light in the back.
lol at the three Stage 4 ballast boys in for the ride along. Would have been even quicker and more responsive without the added 600lbs lol
Nice car and excellent driving.
Cool video like always
I also like to believe misha knows the track "just a bit" :)
Love me a Subaru. Thanks guys! What a fun video.
what a beautiful ride misha.. awsome
The idea of 4 flesh bots exercising this metal skeleton powered by fire is kinda hilarious if you think about it.

When he said it's like trying to defuse a bomb👀.......wonder if he knows about the Subaru's favorite past time activity😂
So exciting to watch! This is one of my dream cars!!
brakes and suspension did good considering there's four adults inside the car. that's a lot of weight. great car!
The all important airfresheners on the rear view mirror. 😂
10:00 the guy in the back 😂
Great job
Keep it up
From Argentina....
Subaru love it , finally some some subaru content again ❤❤👍greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱🇩🇪
his face when you said great car was priceless!
Looks like an absolute hoot!
misha you are the goat please stay safe 🙏🙏
Misha was wondering in the end if he should buy that gen STI and make its own nurburgring package. 😂
Bro in back hitting his vape at the end of the lap had me dead 😮💨😂
the passengers in the back holding on for dear life XD
The guys giggling was the best thing ever😂😂😂
BOMB HAS BEEN PLANTED! Love u Misha
i love Impreza ,especially the Japan S series, a very balanced machine already as you buy it 👍💪
Subaru! Thank you for reviewing more Subarus. 👍
"DANGER TO MANIFOLD!!"... **passenger floorpan flies off* 😂
Had my 03 impreza for 8 years, one of the most fun cars to drive on Coilovers😅
This was quite entertaining , you guys looked like: "better crash grinning than crying :D
I love the faces of the guys in the car!!!🤣🤣🤣
Great video, I'm the driver of the Audi S3 from @quattroblog following my friend with the Yaris GR, regards!
it looks so good😍
Beautiful car. Great driving.
guy in the back is very expressive
The S206 is incredibly rare.
Always liked scoobys since the Colin Mcrae days impressive performance with 4 big lads in as well...
I’m surprised it didn’t blow up around the ring. Subaru’s are pretty good at that.
4 big guys in the car lol probably could have enjoyed the car more and for longer period of time before overheating if you went out with just 1 passenger.
A bomb and a subaru engine 🤣 good duo
love the videos!
ej207 isnt a bomb lol
ej25 is
@@oldfashionedwrx3574 just a joke, love subarus 🙏
@@oldfashionedwrx3574 why is the EJ25 a bomb? Please tell me
@@marvinvisser5039 objectively less hg sealing as liners are smaller as pushed and bored out.
Less room for coolant
Cylinder liners weaker by far
Heads more likely to lift as you have a higher charge per stroke especially under high push.
The 2l are good
Hope that helps
@@oldfashionedwrx3574 all correct besides less room for coolant. They hold less power reliably when tuned… stock form absolutely fine. That doesn’t make them a bomb. Just get a proper tune not to max them over the threshold which is around 550nm.
Beyond that a set of high tensile strength head bolts and new head gasket will do just fine till 600nm which would be limit for not breaking the cilinderwall. After that it’s the same process as an EJ20 by closed decking. Anyway type in Forester STI on Mishas channel and see him rip my tuned EJ25 around ;) Did not explode, nor the 20k kilometers I did with it after.
lol love the passengers facial expressions :P
Dixcel Brake pads!
they dont have a name like Endless or pagid around the ring community but i think thats going to change in the Future.
They're amazing pads, had z rated pads in for this and just switched to the RA pads and they're even better, was at Donnington couple weeks ago and 0 pad fade all day
SHMEE105 car on the background 😅! And also STIs are my dream cars...now everyone knows why!!
Dude in the back kept closing his eyes at corners lol
I didnt know these things existed, what a sweet ass WRX!
GV is the best looking imo, love my 2011.
Subarus are a true love hate situation. I love how they look, drive, sound, jow versatile they are, but dont love have picky the engine is, how muxg money you have to spend just to still het dusted by dodge caravans unless you spend as much money on the engine as the car originally cost to buy. Have a focus st. Traded my 12 wrx due to frame getting long in the tooth, and everytime else was going to shit. Would love to get another wrx and tune it to a solid 350 whp but not likely for a while.
😊Hello Misha, very good video, if you can do it again with Padel Cam next time, that would be super cool
I got in the car 1 minute before the track closure, and we had issue with the pedal cam, so went without it,
sweet, ej207 is a good subaru engine,i can't trust the ej25 though
nice driving, fully loaded car, very fast
I want to see you drive a well set up GD chassis sti
Really hope you can drive a 2016+ ford focus RS this Year or preferably soon! Been waiting on this one for awhile.
Props bro knows the proper way to shift gears in a subaru!
Would have loved to see the back seat empty tho lol
Holy fuck, this is a special one...!😍😍😍😍
Absolutely love my 2018 STI !🤤
Same it’s just so good
@@2tp223 I'm also from Switzerland (Valais/Wallis) !🤣
@@SPQR_GuiGui Ahahaha was für e Zuefall
Subarus sound SO much better when they use equal length runners vs unequal. I get the sound pulses of the unequal is fun, but….equal length, to me, is better.
i was noticing that also.
Absolutely not. The equals sound nice with the boxer engine, as in better than the standard high revving 4cyls...
But the unequal rumble is beautiful and distinct.
Performance-wise that's another topic... equal lengths typically have better longevity and can handle a liiiiittle bit more power.
Can you post the Abarth Punto video soon please 🥺
Us from the abt community can't wait, amazing driving as always!
Imagine doing this run without the added 250 extra kilos of body weight.
The Subaru S models are awesome!
Wow that Polo was impressive. Must have been a built 1.2 TFSi.
Hello I have question, why you didn't change the settings of dccd ? You prefer when it's in auto position ?
S204 and Spec C RaR is my favourite
Spec C RA-R is an absolute weapon. I'd love to see Misha rip one on the ring.
The world's first "track package" equipped vacuum cleaner.
