This was the first time that I have ever watched a video like this and man did you have my interest in watching the bathroom makeover from the beginning to the end. I'm not in construction of any kind nor do I even own a home any longer, however putting all of that aside I was totally mesmerized in watching it all come together and even some of the tools that had been used. You did an awesome job and I so enjoyed watching it all come together, beautiful work. Thank you for sharing your work with us. Hi Liam, just watched this video on UA-cam -- very impressed (and I don't ever usually leave public comments). Great workmanship, great care taken to respect the owner's home, and a very transparent/honest breakdown of costs which is often missing from videos but just adds to the overall sense of confidence a client can have in working with you. Well done! RR
I just started a business with my wife doing design and remodeling and currently finishing my first full bathroom remodel (that’s not just for us). Great work man! I’m subscribed and watching closely, hope to grow our business right alongside you!
Pro-tip for your caulking. Anywhere where the color of the tile is not truly white, use translucent caulking. It blends in better than white, and not clear/shiny enough to look like transparent
@@WorkinwithWolkon Yes color matched is the best way to go. I'm talking more about transition areas like toilets and tubs, as the white gets discolored rather quickly, and clear is too shiny
As a software engineer, I can totally understand and rate how good of an engineer you are when it comes to engineering the home. Though I don’t know anything about renovation.
Awesome work Liam! It is essential that you have enough time for the project and you can finish it on your own pace. You did not cut any corners and the bathroom turned out amazing. I like taking my time too whenever I start on any project.
Highlight of this remodel: 34:33. On a less serious note, this is super impressive! I'm amazed by the amount of knowledge and attention to detail you demonstrate. I hope to learn as much as you someday. And at 33:38, I don't have experience on using pipe dope, but isn't it more safe to apply teflon clockwise? This way, teflon can't unravel when you tighten it and double up
I do watch a lot of HGTV but this is one of the most amazing transformation/renovation I've ever seen.. You sir are a treasure!. Keep up the good work 👍
I'm subscribing just because of the prep work on the floors. I've seen SO many of these videos and the one thing that ALWAYS makes me cringe in thinking about cleaning up those floors. Such attention to detail 😍
Love this remodel! Came out beautiful. Tile work is one of those things I havent had much practice with (practically none tbh) and it looks like a tediously daunting task. One of those things that looks difficult enough that you wouldn't want to try to tackle it so you just hire it out. Yall make it look so easy man!
@@conradcoolerfiend I've been around it enough to know, even though I'm not the one to be doing it, that it is not the simplest task to get it JUST perfectly right. Especially with the cuts for slope and drainage. Not much emphasis placed about it in the video but I know a lot of thought goes into that bit.
I really appreciate that you took the time to the job properly to prevent leaking, moisture and water damage. Of course the bathroom is beautiful, but the foundational work is so important. Job well done. Wished you lived in NJ.
Congratulations for your work and your video 👍👏 I did exactly the same work as you in France. I live in Toronto now since 2 months and am trying to obtain the red seal (not easy). I've never had a shower this big though 😄 Congratulations again and thank you for putting the prices at the end, it helps me a lot to understand the prices applied here. Even though I think you are below market price for labor 🤔
I can tell you are a master at what you do because it's all those little things you do like putting something down to protect the floors as you go in and out trying to keep the dust down as much as possible. It's things like this that make you a professional and I Guarantee you the home owner Appreciates it.
Man i've got a lot of skills and been dreaming of ditching the 9-5 to start a company and do remodels i'm passionate about like you, very inspiring. Amazing work, one man army 💪
Awesome workmanship! You definitely take a lot of pride in what you do and it shows with all the details and the final result 😮. You made it look easy 😅 well done! Liked and subbed
Came to like and comment that I appreciate you taking the time to be transparent about the amount of time and cost it took to complete this project. Not a lot of videos do that.
Enjoyed the video! Did you and the homeowner ever discuss keeping the window and doing frosted or textured glass to keep the natural light? Would that have been possible with the shower design?
The fact that you got this done in 20 days ALONE, when the group that did my bathroom took ~6 months for roughly the same amount of work is insane to me. I guess that's what happens when your know what you're doing and don't go off to other jobs for days on end...
I love the view from the rooftop. Wow, the endless creativity of building a container house. I'm just imagining a rooftop deck and relaxing with assume view. Adding more comfort to the tiny container home.
Removing tubs is so not it. Who doesn’t like a healthy soak. I’d never buy a house with no master tub, EVER. You did what they wanted very well though.
Different strokes for different folks! I hate tubs, I haven’t taken a bath in years and the whole reason I found this channel because I was looking for solutions to remove the tub and make a giant shower
seeing you do this basically on your own in like what 20 days? makes me realize how shit the company I chose is(over all it took them from August to almost Novermber to do my small bathroom) xD there was a lot I was unsatisfied with towards the end and a few things that were just done not great. Just found you and this is beautiful. Sucks I'm in Ottawa :(
Great video, the explanation along the way was spot on. IDK anything bathroom remodeling, construction, etc. I work in IT. I just got tired of the UA-cam algorithm flooding my UA-cam page with nonsense, so I searched "how to build a home" (something I know nothing about) and this was one of the first videos I watched. Nice work!
Beautiful job. I really like the seamless white grout and tile, and the recessed rain heads. I realized how you had to raise the floor because of the long, curbless shower. You can only slope so much. I found out that I could keep the floor low by putting in two drains and two kerdi pans. It cuts the slope length in half so you don't have to raise the whole floor. It keeps floor transitions to the next room more flat. The second drain is also great back-up for when one drain clogs, which is bound to happen if anyone has long hair, and floods the whole room in a curbless shower situation.
Something to mention. I was in that work for 2 years with experienced group. The guy knows what he does and if the days are really as in the video, he is quite fast. Going through rooms and taking down walls without graphs can be challenging and time consuming. It's overall impressive that he is fast, productive and effective.

And those tile guys that get paid $60 are no where near your skill level, precision or attention to details.
Dude your attention to detail in your work and in your video editing is amazing. Your narration of every step is fantastic and the breakdowns of everything at the end. Insanely talented I am definitely subscribed!
Been a plumber / gasfitter / sparky for over 25 years. Huuuuge props to you for starting with ram and drop sheets... excellent looking work I'm assuming that ceiling is not a top floor ceiling in that? ( waterline not in frost wall ) and I'm sure you know, threaded connections cannot be concealed ( rainhead braided hose ) I'm poking sticks at it since you could for sure service the head in that configuration :) . And keeping the place tidy is something i express to apprentices daily.. if you complete a beautiful reno but scuff the floor, it doesnt matter how nice you did the job. Props again, excellent priorities and execution. I hear ya on the window.. did one like this before.. very similar solution except we used caulk on all perimeter inside edge , blueskin, Styrofoam, more blue skin. You maintained the vapour barrier and increased the insulation to r40 or beyond its only potential issue is future infiltration from exterior.. as yousaid though.. budget 8s what budget is. :)
the fact that you did all of this job alone is amazing, well done sir.
I definitely love the templating and marking the shower floor tile!. Brilliant work. No music. No nonsense. Just raw talent! Well done mate..
I’m really enjoying your videos. I’m very impressed with the level of your skills, your attention to detail and how careful you are with your clients’ houses. As I’m sure many have said, wish you could do renovations in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Thank you so much!
My favorite youtube renovator!
Thanks!!
Amazing work!
Wow, a giant shower renovation in a master bathroom sounds like an exciting project! It's always amazing to see how transforming a space, especially something as personal as a master bathroom, can really rejuvenate the whole feel of a home. The concept of a spacious, well-designed shower can add such a luxurious touch. It's great to think about all the modern design options and features that can be included. I can imagine how this kind of renovation could create a serene and spa-like atmosphere. Enjoy the process and the wonderful results! 🚿✨🛁
This bathroom is freaking amazing!! And you are in GTA!! Even better!! I love the fact that you are so transparent with the pricing too!! We are in Toronto and considering renovating our bathroom and kitchen for our old condo downtown (near Foresthill) when the time aligns. I will absolutely contact you!!! THANK YOU FOR SUCH A QUALITY WORK!!
Dude i am in awe at the quality of your work... Ill be showing this to my wife for when we get our larger home and i expect anything we get will be in dire need for a remodel 😎
Great job!
Beautiful work! The end result is stunning...even though I was quite sad to see the tube and window go. I love a good soak, but I know some people don't use tubs. Nice job!
YOU ARE DOING A RADIANT FLOOR! I didn’t think you would because of the window. This is THE BEST!
Looks outstanding.😂 Thank you for not over charging. You are a honest, trustworthy person.
Wow, your workmanship is stellar and I'm beyond impressed that you're a one-man crew, especially installing those giant tiles. I'm mid-bathroom-reno right now, not quite as elaborate as this but similar ideas (including - I think - that same bidet, looking forward to it) and the top-notch contractor I was fortunate enough to find via a friend has a series of specialists - on demo day there were six guys in here!
honestly my dream shower lol 😍 i love these renovations. im planning on buying a fixer upper and renovating it myself, i can make my home look however i want it to look.
That’s my dream as well!
If I'm ever looking for an honest man I'll look you up but you'll need to come to the mile high city. Lol a bit of a jog from where your at. Love your work.
I like your attention to detail. Work ethic excellence. Not only building for the looks but also building to last. Not skimming on the waterproofing. Definitely deserve a like and sub from me. Respect to a honest craftsman
Well done! RR
Now that’s how you prep before reno starts! Great job
I prefer my silicone to match the grout
@@WorkinwithWolkon Yes color matched is the best way to go. I'm talking more about transition areas like toilets and tubs, as the white gets discolored rather quickly, and clear is too shiny
@@Darkely4u good tip
As a software engineer, I can totally understand and rate how good of an engineer you are when it comes to engineering the home. Though I don’t know anything about renovation.
Your attention to detail should be appreciated by the homeowner! Brilliant!
Keep up the good work 👍
You're the best I've ever seen, artist, gifted, and even the video work is Emmy worthy!!!
Stunning finish...wow and done all by yourself...the tiling and all those cuts...just wow!!!
I'm subscribing just because of the prep work on the floors. I've seen SO many of these videos and the one thing that ALWAYS makes me cringe in thinking about cleaning up those floors. Such attention to detail 😍
Right!
turned out awesome man! can definitely see your progression from the first one you did for your mom on a budget. keep it up!
Thanks! Definitely a tedious project type
as an occasional tiler, he makes it look SO much easier than it is!
I bet he was glad when he finished that project🎉🎉He did a fantastic job 🎉🎉
I really appreciate that you took the time to the job properly to prevent leaking, moisture and water damage. Of course the bathroom is beautiful, but the foundational work is so important. Job well done. Wished you lived in NJ.
To complete this in 20 days all on youre own is very impressive. Excellent job.
Great job! Love the design. That was a LOT of hard work. I am sure the homeowners were thrilled with the outcome.
Congratulations for your work and your video 👍👏
I did exactly the same work as you in France.
I live in Toronto now since 2 months and am trying to obtain the red seal (not easy). I'm still going to do my tiling and renovation business in the meantime, but I hope to be able to do like you soon.
I've never had a shower this big though 😄
Congratulations again and thank you for putting the prices at the end, it helps me a lot to understand the prices applied here. Even though I think you are below market price for labor 🤔
34:34 It’s ok to have a dirty mind inside the shower 😂 the finished product is so crisp and clean. You’re a one-man army
Lol 😂
This is the best quality shower reno I've seen ✨🤌🏾 chefs kiss
Super helpful - your excellent work speaks for itself but taking the time to record and narrate it as competently is amazing. Thank you.
You have come such a long way from your first bathroom make over. I hope you keep up the great work!
Awesome workmanship! You definitely take a lot of pride in what you do and it shows with all the details and the final result 😮. You made it look easy 😅 well done!
Liked and subbed
Amazing transformation. I love the way the tile looks and those mirrors really did fill the space nicely.
Would that have been possible with the shower design?
the only problem with this video is now a lot of us will never be satisfied with the shower we have now.
Awesome content mate .id recommend adding royalty free sounds for the b roll . keep up the good work mate
I prefer a 🛁 🛀 too with a glass door and an option to take a quick shower if I need to
My Delima if to add one or not
seeing you do this basically on your own in like what 20 days? makes me realize how shit the company I chose is(over all it took them from August to almost Novermber to do my small bathroom) xD there was a lot I was unsatisfied with towards the end and a few things that were just done not great. Just found you and this is beautiful. Sucks I'm in Ottawa :(
Do canadians really unironically prefer prison-inspired double showerheads over a bathtub?
This is insane. The most meticulous work I’ve ever seen. Beautiful beautiful work!!
GC here, you are an absolute craftsman. The amount of cross-skill required to complete this level of job is staggering! One-man army 🪖 💪🏾🔥
Bathroom without a bath tub is not luxurious. Sad. I prefer the old style
Nice work!
Your tile combination were great, workmanship was great and thorough. Well done!
WOW! I was spellbound the entire time and very impressed with your work and general approach. Thanks so much for sharing!
Wow!!! By far the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen. Excellent work!
Something to mention. I was in that work for 2 years with experienced group. The guy knows what he does and if the days are really as in the video, he is quite fast. Going through rooms and taking down walls without graphs can be challenging and time consuming. It's overall impressive that he is fast, productive and effective.
Watching good craftmanship is so relaxing. Awesome project.
