Family with the home owner on this one... Liam and Sebastian where awesome to work with, very professional, went the extra mile and incredible response time! Strongly recommend their services. Great video and really cool meeting you and seeing how this all worked out!
Just a quick question about the shower bench. We are doing the bathroom reno and thinking of putting a similar long bench. Just not sure about the depth of the bench. We have another shower with bench and we found the tiled bench is too cold to sit on. So it's used mainly for shampoo and foot rest. I noticed that your bench is 12" depth. How do you think of the depth? Good, too deep, or too shallow? We are thinking of depth 10", or even 8". Just not sure if it's too shallow.
I think heating the bench would be a really good call. In terms of depth I personally like 12” but you can experiment. Just take a chair and set something like a box as a backer at different depths until you find a size that you like
Yes I’m very grateful to have had such an amount of trust given to us to turn the key over for 3 weeks. It’s something I’ve been striving for in building a good reputation so that we can do projects like this one. Thank you!
MEP building engineer here! Love your videos man, and especially your attention to the safety and utility of the remodeling you do. This bathroom looks fantastic and I hope you keep up the great work!
UK bathroom re-modelling contractor here and I love your content. Really interesting watching your process, your attention to detail and thoughtful approach. A joy to watch this one!
I was gonna cheap out and tile over tile in my floor to ceiling tiled bathroom, but your videos convinced me to bite the bullet and have my bathroom renovated the right way. Finding the right contractor in NYC is another issue.
5:53 Hi there! Yeah, maybe we Europeans get worried with the construction with 2”x4”s, but we do build a lot of wooden houses as well. The main concern is not the structure, but all kinds of isolation: thermal, acoustic and water. We are used to leave the structure layer intact, and there we started layering (an exterior structure wall will never be used for installations, we build a installation wall on top due to various problems as cold and moisture). The structure also gets the first sound proofing layer and humidity layer. The wall is closed, and in case of a bath like yours, we have a installation layer for all pipes and electrical. Until the early 90es people used to do the same as you with pipes and wires, but our codes were enforced through experience and new materials.
I love your video ! the only thing I would suggest to your client is to put the shower valve in the half wall so you when the water is cold you can get away 😊
WOW.... another amazing project. This one is even more impressive. I love the mitre/jolly cut shower niche and the tileable drains! By the way, thanks for showing your mistake with the niche cut out. It was honest and hilarious as well LOL Keep up the great work, we need more of this content!!!
Love the way you have indexed all of the timestamps! If I may… a suggestion… add the flood testing (and maybe even a hashtag) to your timestamps. I have searched and searched UA-cam and find very little about flood testing zero entry curbless showers. A few videos talk about it, but don’t show the steps as you do. Your description of the application and testing of the temporary border is very helpful!
Fantastic work and stunning bathroom. Glad to see the glass shower door does not go all the way to the ceiling, you clearly know what you are doing re steam, mould and heat stroke issues 🙂
Absolutely fascinating to watch you work and I love your laid-back and easy to understand narration Thank you so much from a retired old navy vet in Washington DC.
I love you put your error in there, as a diy guy I would totally do something like that and it’s confidence building that someone as good and professional as you could make a mistake like me.
First of all, your work is beautiful. I especially thought the grain pattern that you laid out in the shower was stunning! That being said, if the floor tiles had been laid out to match the shower it would have been perfect! In my opinion the foor looked messy against the beautiful shower. I also don't care for the wood walls, they would have looked better covered in the tile to match or better yet all glass to showcase the 'perfect shower' I wouldn't have done anything to cover that in the least bit! ❤
I think with how popular bidets are becoming, and if your job calls for doing any work around the toilet, I would suggest adding a receptacle near the toilet (for the ones that need to be plugged in for warming the water).
I agree, when I quote jobs I give this as an additional option if they want it. The nice thing though is that with almost all of these jobs they’re done with attic access above so even if they don’t opt for a plug during this renovation one can always be added later on without damage
I’ve been watching you since you did your mother’s bathroom and you’ve gotten a lot better. I truly wish I could utilize your services but I’m in the states 😢
Really enjoyed watching this video. I just started doing bathroom remodels with a good guy who’s giving me an opportunity to do something I enjoy so I want to learn as much as possible. Definitely got some great tips from you. Thank you
One more “Great Job” for ya! I’m impressed with the breadth of skills you possess (technical, business & personal)! Envious! Thank you for sharing that journey. Wishing you great success!
Canadians and Europeans love their freestanding bathtubs. Free standing tubs drive me crazy as an American. But that shower makes up for it! Fantastic work.
I am European and we use drywall and 2x4`s in interior builds. We might have 2x6 on exterior. Scandinavian is at least like this. But off course there is lots of other styles in the UK and eastern europe.
Wow! The subject did not disappoint! That bathroom is amazing! Except the blinds, which are bad. But everything else is stunning! Also, Kerdi board is a million and a half times easier to work with than the membrane on walls. You’ll like it.
You do great work! So much detail and so clean. If you were here in North Carolina you'd be rich doing such detailed work. I recently heard about someone paying a contractor to reno their bathroom and they closed up a window without even telling the owner and then left 2 soda cans in the window. He saw it when he was outside and never noticed a window in his house before.
Great job Liam and Sebastian! You work well together and I am sure the homeowners will be delighted, even ecstatic. Keep up the good work. Word of mouth goes around fast and so will your reputation. I am SURE you will get a LOT of business. xoxo
@@WorkinwithWolkon You are welcome. You deserve to be recognized for your integrity and great work ethics. Your business will take off and before you know it you may need more helpers. All of the best to you. xoxo
Chances are ppl. see a 46 min. video & cringe... NOT with your videos Liam!! Beyond enjoyable & always put together well. Plus the craftsmanship is unparralled!! Warched every min. Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!!
@@WorkinwithWolkon @moneymakingmikeg.9555 shares a useful comment here. Your work is awesome and your videos are very well done. I'm a fan! And while I'm not a content creator, I can't resist a kibitz... Consider splitting longer videos like this into 3 shorter videos. E.g. first video is the design, demo, rough-in, then second is install, and final third may be wrap up install, finishes and final details etc, This may allow you to stretch more product for your work effort and attract audiences with shorter attention span. Just my two cents as a subscriber. That said - You can also just keep producing longer videos, and I'll keep watching them. Thanks for your work!
Thanks for the suggestion! This is something I’ve always thought about especially with longer videos such as this one. But then my best performing video is 40 minutes so honestly I’m not sure. I think I’ll experiment a little in the future but I’ve always just tried to make the type of video I personally enjoy
@@WorkinwithWolkon I did cringe a little when I saw the length, but once you start watching, you can't stop. Your editing and voice over are sublime. (as is the work ofcourse). Blown away by the hand cut tile miters. HOW do you keep that steady and straight? 🤯
Liam this is absolutely gorgeous. I am not so much a fan of gold fixtures and rainfall shower heads, but this came out top notch and so nice. Thanks for sharing!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magnificent transformation, undoubtedly, this is my dream bathroom. Unquestionably, if you were closer to me I would definitely use your services... Happy Holidays
These guys do awesome work! I wish you were in the states. I wish I could send you a picture of my bathroom, so you can sketch up an idea for a redesign of my bathroom.
As a bathroom renovator, do you have to have licences for electrical, plumbing, and waterproofing work? Amazing bathroom transformation; I love your work.
Great video and explanations. I ordered the portable dust collector and crow bar using your affiliate links to support you anyway I can. Keep up the great work and videos.
Wow - this is great work! Do you have any concern about accessing the shower valves on the outside wall in the future? Would a plumber have to cut through the outside wall to access then patch since there is no inside drywall? Thank you for sharing such a detailed start to finish including costs!
If I lived in your area, and I owned my home, I would definitely hire you guys to do my bathroom reno. And I would encourage you to do a UA-cam video of it (just so I could save a couple of dollars😄)
Man your work is so damn amazing every freaking video I’ve watched!!!! I wish you can come down here to Arizona so bad, I can’t find the right people I’m just tryna get my moms master bathroom renovated already 😭😭
Is the glass held up by those 5 brackets or is there more I’m not seeing? I’m just trying to see how it’s all held in place I have a similar project going with pony wall and glass.. this looks amazing
We are looking at doing something similar in a total bath redo. Did you use glossy tile on the shower walls and then the same one on the floor, but matte version and smaller? This bathroom looks amazing.

Your team did fantastic work! I love it! Lyssia's design is amazing too.
AMAZING I WATCHED THE ALL 46 MINUTES AND IM DYING FOR SLEEP RIGHT NOW

As you know Schluter has board that can go right to the studs. I used it for my remodel.

Lol I prefer the tub and sink white with silver metal water things
Absolutely brilliant. Well done 👏👏👏
First guy I seen bevel the tile on bathroom, most people are so lazy! Aesthetically it’s so much more appealing! Good job.
It’s not lazy, most people just don’t want to pay the extra cost to do it. It’s a lot more time and labor to make those miter edges.
You manage to go above and beyond for every piece of job that you do. Great work & keep it up ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

do durock and membrane the pan and wall seames and screws only with kerdy, anything else is overkill and waste
