IMO this is the THE perfect bathroom. It's spacious, has good lighting and natural light with a window, a large shower with a hose and overhead shower, a good sized bath (with a shower hose too!) and storage. Absolutely fabulous. A beautiful timeless and traditional style, it's stunning and the work and craftsmanship is outstanding. Gorgeous. 💛🙂
i'm not even into construction or doing my own DYi stuff. its just entertaining to watch someone who's good at what they do even if i'm not interested in doing anything like this myself
The shelf beside the tub is such a good use of space. I also noticed the custom tile vent beside the toilet, which deserves recognition for that detail. Excellent job once again. I can't wait to see how you work with the epoxy grout. Hit that like and subscribe button, lets gooooooo!!!
Just SO much better! (I can't understand designs with toilets that are freestanding and exposed like in the before.) I think that's your best shower yet.
You and Sebastian are phenomenal at what you do. Every single project turns out beautifully. As a member of the construction family myself, I can say the attention to detail you both have makes me smile, because that quality in particular is hard to find. That being said, I’d have an apprentice fall through my ceiling anytime if the final project looks as good as the gems you both produce 😂 . Cheers to another beautiful project and many more to come 🍻
Every project, you guys get better and better! Bravo. This is BEAUTIFUL! I'm planning on going to trade school for electrical in 2025, thanks for the motivation, King.
This is the best looking bathroom you have done yet. I appreciate how you pay attention to those little details. I've enjoyed watching your videos for a year now.
Great work! I love all of the effort you put in with the "box" trim features. The bathroom looks extravagant and is a real show piece. I am sure the clients were thrilled with the outcome. What's NOT to like? You guys make a great team. The new layout makes perfect sense. I couldn't believe they still had the boxed in tub. They are SO inconvenient and take up a way too much space. I know that they were quite popular at one time. It's time to lose them.
Amazing work man, I've been subscribed and taking notes. Ive been in construction my whole life but mostly Sheetmetal/HVAC. I really want to start a project in our master bath just gathering up the courage 😂. But now that I've shown my girl this, I think I have no choice. Thanks🙌
Great work! Thank you for putting these videos out there…way more fulfilling and informative than HGTV. Most of my construction skills are at UA-cam university as well.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. The trim on the walls elevates the whole room. And I love how the half wall next to the toilet created an extra little ledge inside the shower, very useful. I was worried there wouldn't be enough space between the tub and the wall to easily access the built in shelves, but it looks perfectly fine. Awesome job as usual. How much is that drywall sander? It looks like a lifesaver.
Thank you so much! The drywall sander + hepa vac is around 4k CAD I believe. A considerable amount of money but a good investment if you do this for a living
That shelf unit alongside the tub was a great idea. I love it! Another great reno for the books Liam. I'd love to know which of your other videos are this same client.
Another gorgeous bathroom reno by Wolkon. I am so jealous because I love the open concept bathroom. For me personally, I would do a couple changes: close off the toilet for obvious reason and add privacy screening to the windows above the tub that still allows light into the bathroom.
From one bathroom remodeler to another good job. That box molding really set it off. I often find myself screwing myself by offering ideas and giving a huge discount. What can I say I love the craft. I should probably learn to be a better business man though 😂
Nice! First video I've seen from you thanks to the algorithm. I watch a lot of DIY channels and reno channels like Home Renovision with Jeff and Stud Pack. I like to DIY and wish I knew a whole lot more about home remodeling. If you're ever in TX let me know 😉
I believe this is the bathroom for the master bedroom so the expectation is that the bathroom should be able to have up to 2 people in it, but using the toilet with another person in there would definitely have the person feeling a bit exposed. The after is soooo much better. I feel like the old setup was a perfect capsule of what late 90s early 2000s detached house master bathrooms all went for. Just a GIANT tub area with everything else being an afterthought.
I am building now and made sure to add an outlet behind the toilet so I could add one of those Japanese bidets. I think they are a great addition for hygiene and luxury!
Another fantastic and inspiring video! Thank you Liam for posting. I wish you would consider servicing the Niagara area as I would love to have you remodel my bathrooms and kitchen. Take care of yourself and be well.
@@WorkinwithWolkon It's ok, I understand but if you ever expand and enlarge the service area, let me know! We were in Oakville for 20 years but moved to Pelham due to my wife's illness. Anyways, keep on improving and all the best!
Wow it looks amazing, awesome and everything in between you both have done such an amazing job i wish you lived here in Scotland im wanting my living room done lol ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤xx
Great job. I get something out of each video. One question is how did you treat the tile edge where it meets sheetrock? Did you use something like a Schluter profile or similar?
Awesome job! As usual, Liam! Question about the pony wall; I didn't see y'all install deco or anything there; how'd the glass guys secure the glass to it, the floor, and the wall? Edit: I just watched part of it again. Is it exclusively with ceiling brackets?
Thank you!! It’s ceiling brackets and silicone. We try to minimize how many brackets are used as they’re unsightly, so a lot of the time we’ll just have a floor bracket for the fixed piece of glass that the door hinges off of. You’d be surprised at how strong a full seal of silicone provides, it’s wild
Hey Liam! I love the videos but I'd like to ask if it's possible to add in a detailed process for each thing you do in the renovation? For example, can you show a detailed non-time lapsed bit of grouting the tiles before you go to the time lapse of the grouting process or cutting the tiles to size? It would probably make your videos longer but I wouldn't mind that. I'd be really appreciative if you could do that.

15:57 Awesome video, Question, is there a reason why you left a 2" piece of tile to be put by the wall? Was it to line up the tiles seem with the bathtub? Would it be easier to just start with a full tile on the wall or just curious why you made that decisison?
Great question! There are so many factors that go into choosing a tile layout that I could spend an entire video talking about. With this one the clients wanted to have a tile centred with the tub, that way when you walk into the bathroom you have a row of tiles and grout line centred right down the middle. The negative to this as you pointed out is having a smaller cut against that window wall, however most of that is hidden by the vanity and tub. Personally I agree with the clients decision on this one and think the centred tiles with tub was the right call
@@WorkinwithWolkon Awesome I know your work from all the videos so I know you would not have done this by accident. I was just curious why, thanks for the reply. Also a cool idea for your videos, you mentioned on this reno about making videos with more details but just haven't got to it yet. Then you could also cut these clips out and make a second channel of just these detailed clips! Anyways love the videos!! Thanks
Thanks! Many tile stores with have contacts that can create custom registers like this, you take one of your tiles to them and they water jet a cutout. A steel plate goes behind it for strength
For your note on how you hate being on your hands and knees for doing floors, PLEASE invest in some knee pads! Cheap, squishy ones that you are fine to let get covered in thin set are fine. If you plan on doing this work for the long haul, it will slowly (but consistently) eat at those joints. 20 bucks now is worth it for your knees decades later. Great work on the renovation!
Thank you I appreciate that! I can’t stand knee pads and instead typically use a piece of kerdi (foam board) to kneel on instead although I do need to be more consistent with using it
