- Review of the biggest baddest Stihl backpack blower. Is this the right blower for you? Stihl BR 800 C-E Magnum with 79.9cc 4 mix engine.
See this blower in action in my other videos:

Just picked me up one yesterday. Began some blowing some piles from last fall. Thing is a beast. No longer raking
After using for a bit it’s hard to understand why anyone would own a rake anymore 🤣. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Just purchased mine yesterday after a month looking at reviews and doing some homework on these. Another Stihl toy to add to the lineup here. Great review.
You are going to love it 👍.
Right on. Nice video. I have owned mine fir over a year and have put over 30 hours. It is a work horse and cuts through heavy debris and leaves. I am contemplating purchasing a second for my large yard.
Thanks for checking in! I remember the days of blowing leaves with my handheld blower and never want to go back...
Hi great channel and product review. im interested in:STIHL Magnum BR 800 X 239 mph 912 CFM Gas Backpack Leaf Blower.
I was laughing at "heck why not a 150cc,lol. "
Great channel
Thank you sir, glad you are enjoying the vids. You will love the blower! I'm still waiting for a bigger one =)
Those woods beyond your backyard are really beautiful. How about some kind of sitting space near the border to take advantage of them, like a gazebo or covered patio?
Thank you. That is a great idea, a screened in area to get away from the bugs would be great.
How would you compare this to Echo 9010?… I’m in the market to get a new blower bc it takes me a good few hours on my only day off to blow leaves during this time of the year…. I can’t decide between the two.
I have not used the 9010 but have only heard good things about it.
The big difference between the two is the engines. They both have ~80cc engines but the Stihl is a 4 stroke and the Echo is a 2 stroke.
A 2 stroke will always have more power given the same engine size but use more fuel and create more emissions.
If you look at the specs the Echo outperforms the Stihl in airflow and force. This is because it’s 2 stroke engine makes more power.
If fuel consumption, emissions, and smoother operation in low rpm get the Stihl. If you want the most blowing force get the Echo.
I went with the Stihl because I’m a bit of a fan boy and the closest echo dealer is about 1hr away from me.
Great lighthearted humor in your review of the BR 800-C. I have the PB 9010-T and love it for pushing leaves - I’m not a commercial user, like yourself, I just like the best equipment for my personal use. Used the 9010 this leaf season and it is not a beast, it’s a monster. Well worth the money for that use, however, I want something for normal, everyday lawn maintenance and the 9010 is more than I need for that. SO, I will be purchasing the BR 800-C for all round use, year round. I know the BR 800 is an awesome piece of equipment and I want it for that reason as well. Guess you could call me a lawn equipment geek. Excellent information on the 2 & 4 stroke comparisons.
I’m glad you liked the video. Obviously, you won’t be disappointed with the 800-c.
Thanks for checking in, I have heard only great things about the Echo blowers. I imagine the 80cc two stroke really rips. It’s like having a dirt bike engine on your back, likes to drink the fuel too?
Its not the biggest or baddest on the market, There are other companies that make bigger. I have a br800c and love it though, but its no match for the big shindaiwa. Far quieter and the easy start is great
You are correct but third biggest doesn’t sound very good 😊
I need one of these for a guy i know that is “almost 80”. He needs a fall yard helper , not me with leaves.
Have him watch my videos, it will fix him right up =)
now talk about the Echo.. Big Daddy
That is a very nice machine too 😎
Thanks for the video. Redmax is better though my opinion.
I was not aware of Redmax, I checked out the website and would love to get my hands on one.
I would say Echo BP8010 or even better BP9010 are the biggest baddest followed by Stihl then Redmax. I have a BP8010, BR800C and a Husqvarna 580BTS(same as redmax). All great blowers with the Stihl having the least fatigue. I have not tried the Redmax 8550 but I have heard it is basically the same as the 8500.
luv muh br800 😎👍
Awesome! Happy blowing
Hey Nicolas, I'm looking for a recommendation for a good electric walk-behind lawn mower, cordless. We have a riding mower but need something to get into tight spots. Any favorites?
I would recommend getting a high rated mower from a brand that also has the tools you may want in the future.
EGO seems to be the leader in battery powered outdoor equipment. Stihl has some offerings that great quality but likely provide less value (higher prices).
I have not been able to test any of the mowers; however, I think the most important consideration is sharing batteries across multiple tools. Once you buy a tool with multiple batteries you get locked into that brand because of the high price of batteries.
@@TheLawnEngineer Thanks Mr. Lawn Engineer! I'm going to Lowes today.
@@markfmoran have fun👍
Why didn’t you show us what the biggest, bad blower can do, certainly we can read the specs online…..
You're in luck, I have other videos that show it in action!

I liked your video and review. However, I would like to say that a reputable company such a Sthil and ANY OTHER who is a great company, they will keep their quality control at the maximum, even though if the parts are made in Mexico. Most of the big companies, in the car industry are having made the parts in Mexico, and they applied the same quality control by sending American engineers and professionals to make sure that the operators have the same quality as any American, just cheaper. It is not like the companies just for being in Mexico, are going to be run by a Mexican, they are run by Americans up to the middle range.
Thank you. In general I agree with your comments, well said.
