Spectacular results once again Nick! So like you to be very mindful of the untreated wood! Lovely to have this customer call you again, because they know you are the best! Thank you for this one Nick, enjoyed it ever so much 😊 Be well young man, and all the best to you and yours Nick!!
It’s so good to be needed, isn’t it? Thanks for leaving the writing up for a wee bit longer, much appreciated. Excellent work on the house, looks so fresh and clean.
Wow, Nick! What a huge difference! I didn't think it looked particularly bad at the start, but once you got going I realized I'd had no idea what I was actually looking at. It was so completely covered with algae, that it just looked fairly uniform in color with some greener patches toward the bottom. I simply hadn't realized and was completely unprepared for the change you made in the appearance of that home. And that's exactly why they called you back. Well, that and the care you take with the untreated wood, cars, etc. I really enjoyed this one! Something a little different. Have a great week, Nick!
Hey Lucinda, hope your'e enjoying your weekend. Yeah try to change up my content as much as possible, doesn't always relate to better views though, oh well. Thanks for the great feedback and comment as always ☺️
Another fantastic job. And the way you took care not to stain the wood fencing and walls just shows what we all know, you are extremely professional. 👍🏼👍🏼 Now...tell me...why when someone knows you will be working on their house, they cannot extend the courtesy of moving the darn car???? Really, how hard is it to try and make it a little easier for you? It turned out beautifully. Great job. Thanks for sharing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Now this is something I don't recall ever seeing done before so a first for me 😁 I didn't realise how bad it was till it was being done the difference was almost immediate 😲 You are always so considerate in everything you do, making sure you protected the wood and car very sweet of you as always 😁 Looked brilliant once done 🤩
Aw thanks Polgara, glad to hear this is something you haven't seen before, always trying to keep my channel fresh with different content. Thanks for the awesome comment us usual ☺️
Looks great, Nick, particularly the white vinyl on the windows. Don’t understand why the Brits don’t do more softwashing. Possibly due to houses being so close together???
Hi Stuart from Glasgow been watching your videos been looking into house external cleaning this is giving me lots of confidence thanks pal great job what's the pole you are using be very happy for some fed back cheers
Hey Stuart, thanks for the feedback 👍. This is the pole i'm using gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/slx-30.html, with this nozzle attached www.rutlandpumps.com/softwash-wfp-push-fit-adaptor-nozzle-bundle.html
I'm surprised that you said it held well for four years. I'm aware that four years can be quite some time four ground stuff like driveways, but I'm surprised about so green walls. I know darker walls with all kinds of withering, but they are much older. How can a wall become green so fast?
Hi Tatjana, I hope your'e well. Silicone rendered walls in the UK are particularly susceptible to algae and mould growth. The last time i cleaned this, the owner said it had only been on his walls for a couple of years, and the algae was only slightly less than this time, so another couple of years on top, for only a little bit more growth, I thought was pretty good, and had held up well 👍
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning ouh ok, granted this material isn't common in Germany. No wonder I never saw this, also it's less wet here, especially the last few years were very dry.
Great video. Ive got a water pole system for window cleaning. 25 litre trolley system with carbon fibre poles. Can i simply use this to apply the hypo to the render and then rinse down with the same system. Ive got a render job that needs this process but im unsure best process. My worry is putting hypo through my pump may damage the pump. Obviously it would be the 2% mix that you mentioned and not in it's purest form.
Thanks 👍. It’ll be fine as a one off, or even a few times, as long as you flush it through with clean water when you’re done. Just be aware though, if you put hypo through them on a regular basis like I do, the backpack will only last about 6-12 months.
A few questions if you don't mind... How long would you leave the SH on for before rinsing? Does SH affect windows/upvc at all? Could you just rinse off using water from the backpack ? Sorry for so many but I've been asked to clean a small area of render and I'm literally learning everything from you!
Don't mid at all. Leave it on for 10-15 mins. A low % hypo is unlikely to effect upvc, but it can turn yellow sometimes. You combat that by regularly rinsing the frames/doors regularly with the hose. Worse case scenario, the yellowing can be reversed using mild brick acid, so it's no big deal if it happens, just extra work. Yeah you can use your backpack, it'd take a lot longer though. 👍
Nice one mate ✊. If i'm honest Rich, i've never had one run out of power on me. They normally only need to be running for a few hours a day, and I always charge them up again as soon as I get home. I think they're supposed to last for 8 hours, which is pretty impressive 👍.
Is hypo still the best thing to use? I cleaned some render the other day with it and it came up beautifully, but while i was doing it some exterior cleaning van pulled up and noticed the hypo container and said "you shouldn't be using that mate, should be using a biocide"
Lol, you should have reminded him that hypo is a biocide. He obviously meant a quat biocide, either bac50 or ddac. Hypo or bio can be used just as effectively, but the results from bio take longer. His comment shows lack of knowledge and experience. He’d probably just come off a course and now thinks he’s an expert and has the right to lecture others on how to do their job, I see that crap all the time on social media, Facebook being the worst. Just ignore and carry on with the method you prefer. Know it alls like that ain’t worth wasting your time arguing with 👍
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning yes true, will just carry on, annoyingly though the customer was in earshot and then asked me what that was all about, I then had to explain what I was using etc etc, just a pain in the ass, luckily it looked fab and they've recommended me to others, but yes so many a$$holes out there looking to rubbish other people's work

Easily the best drive way/roof cleaning service and videos on UA-cam. Always thorough and gets the brush out when needed 👍

What nozzle is that connected to the end of the pole?
Hi mate, many thanks. Here's a link to the nozzle I used www.rutlandpumps.com/softwash-wfp-push-fit-adaptor-nozzle-bundle.html

Does the hypo effect the plastic frames and glass if left on.
It shouldn't at 2% strength, but you never know, so always rinse down at the end.
Great vid once again. Extremely useful info. Same as the comment below. What nozzle do we get to attach to the wfp to enable spraying? Tia.

Hypo won't do damage to cars paintwork?
Nope, but it’s still the polite thing to rinse it off.
Need to sell the homeowner that they need to have their house washed annually to keep it looking like that. Creates more repeat business.
