I found your channel recently and it's awesome. Excellent job on the chord progression packs and so glad you made a Ripchord version! I was wondering if you have a stand alone version midi pack for the arpeggios? I don't use an MPC but would love to have access to these.

If so, you can download the files it just a simple midi files, not specific to MPC. For all my other progressions I don't have midi for the arpeggios - I just using any arpeggiators I can get my hands on!

I'm still trying to learn how to download your core progression in Standalone with the MPC X and I have a regular computer with Windows how do I download your core positions with Windows

Can chord presets be loaded by a midi command? For example, if you were doing a gig to backing tracks using Ableton, could the correct chords for each song be loaded by midi?
I think is not possible.I would load instance of Ripchord on a separate track for each song or just combine multiple Ripchords into some instrument racks.
Ripchord Is not CPU intensive, so it might work!

Yes, Ripchord may not have any presets, but I offer the largest free preset collection for it. Visit my Patreon page to download my free Ripchord presets. You don't need to be a patron to access them: www.patreon.com/musicianparadise
Just scroll to the first post, where you'll find my Ripchord Mega Pack, which contains numerous presets. Additionally, every post on my Patreon includes free chord presets, so be sure to check them out. If you know anyone who could use MIDI chord packs or chord presets for Scaler 2, MPC, or Cthulhu, feel free to share the link.

To install chord presets for Ripchord, click the cog wheel icon at the top right of the Ripchord interface. Choose "Import a preset file/s" and locate your downloaded Ripchord presets. Select all the presets and press open. Alternatively, you can manually place the Ripchord presets in the "Presets" folder located on your hard drive. For MAC users, the path is: ~/Library/Application Support/Trackbout/Ripchord/Presets. For Windows users, the path is: C:\Users(user)\AppData\Roaming\Trackbout\Ripchord\Presets\.

when I play the chords in Ripchord I can't see the name of the chord. it shows only the notes played in the chord. Is there a way to find the chord while I play it in ripchord?
It's totally my fault! I was to lazy to write the chord names, this is why Ripchord does not showing the chord names.I did't include chords names partly because I frequently use big extended chords, and the most convenient way to write it down would be something like, let say, Sibelius jazz chord symbols. Unfortunately, Ripchord does not support that kind of calligraphy, so it could be something like G#m7b5add9;11(b13)omit3 LOL !!! It is excessively heavy writing, I much prefer to see actual notes on the Ripchord keyboard representation.
Make it where we can import our own folders of and/or singular progressions.
We can import folders (groups of progression in .rpc files) and singular progressions from the cogwheel menu. Probably I did not get your observation right - do you mean assign custom tags then importing the .rpc files, or perhaps, MIDI files into Ripchord?

@@antoineevans2517 yes, you can import those midi files into Ripchord by single files or open a folder, choose multiple files and import those at once from the same cogwheel menu!
Brilliant!... I wonder if you would do anything for Scaler vst?.. I'm just thinking here as i write this?

I am having trouble hearing the chords on rip... I cant hear anything I play until I copy the midi to another plugin like Xpand or Omni
The Ripchord doesn't produce any sound by itself. You must connect Ripchord's MIDI output to some VST or AU instrument. Here is a tutorial made by the Ripchord creators that describes the process for all of the most popular DAW's: ua-cam.com/video/7e3TJkv6qMA/v-deo.html
@@MusicianParadise Ive followed this tutorial but nothing is working still. When i play the chords on rip i cant hear the sounds from Xpand that I am trying to use.
@@MusicianParadise Also It wont let me put my vst on to the tracks. I can only use them in channels.

@@TheRealDwayneBeats hmm...Xpand is a multitimbral synth, maybe you have to set up the receiving channel on it? I don't have the Xpand, so I just guessing
