      90% of the young talent didn’t question anything or the older guys didn’t care and just collecting a check. Booker would ask questions!
      There is a big difference from being hard to work with and asking for direction and wanting clarification about why we are doing things when no one can give you an answer.
      Like “What does the Legends mean and will it be defended or just something to carry around” and no one could answer. Or wanting him to lose a match while Legends champion for no reason…. wouldn’t that mean the person that beat him gets the belt 😂 Could never get an answer in TNA

If all of these guys are saying the exact same thing about Booker T (who is my favorite male wrestler of all-time by the way) there just might be some truth to it. • @ShadowAngel-lt8nw
      @ShadowAngel-lt8nw Рік тому +1

      @@RealityOfWrestling Nonsense. In 2006 "King" Booker headlined the 2 lowest drawing WWE PPV's thar year and furthermore, No Mercy (it only did a pathetic 197,000 buys worldwide, which would remain the lowest buyrate until Cyber Sunday 2007, which did just 194,000 worldwide) was the lowests drawing WWE PPV since Taboo Tuesday 2004.
      Already the PPV he entered as contender, Great American Bash, did bad. In fact it remains the second worst drawing Great American Bash for the WWE.
      On top of that, he only averaged a crowd of 2,630 as Champion headlining domestic House Shows, which currently puts him as the 4th lowest Champion to do so (After Eddie, who's the worst drawing WWE Champion of all time, Kofi and Reigns) and the Smackdown Rating also declined during his reign, even hitting a 1.9.
      This isn't surprising, as he also was a rating killer in WCW. Whenever he had the World Championship in 2000, the Nitro rating would take a dip. Every time he lost the belt back to Nash or Steiner, the rating instantly climbed up.
      And lastly, in 2000, WCW had a research firm analyze all quarter ratings for Nitro and Thunder, including channel switches for the year 1999. Booker ended up as somebody who actively drove people away, for the entire year a total of 704,064 people changed the channel when he appeared.
      All of this shows that he was a miserable failure, completely overpushed to a fault. A big mistake overall.

If Booker dislikes people stating their opinion or speculating on what happened during certain points of his career he can be irked all he wants & there's nothing he can do about it other then put across his narrative of the events. I was a TNA fan during that time and fan of Booker T. But there has always been rumblings he was difficult to work with during that time. Bookers biggest issues mentioned later is hearing now about being hard to work with and not a single person ever brought it up at the time. Booker is very straight to the point with people so if Dutch felt that way about Booker would have been easy at the time to say something or at least ask.

    11 minutes and I gave up... This wasn't a very good response to what Dutch said. There was a whole lot of misdirects which I take as a sign I'm being worked... So downvote for that and on with my day. Still love Booker as a talent (expect the king booker run which was the worst)

    Dutch Mantell has ALWAYS been full of shit. For years, he's been talking about things that he has no clue about. Either he wasn't there when certain things happened or he was there and was not privy to the inside information. He does a lot of "filling in the blanks."

    • @LuizRosario
      @LuizRosario Рік тому +1

      @@RealityOfWrestling 😐 I didn't say anything about Book being hard to work with or the Legends championship belt situation, I'm talking about how Booker speaks about the company very negatively whenever he speaks about it which is why Dutch feels that Booker T felt that he was bigger than TNA/Impact Wrestling, that's the part that I understand because I've never heard anything positive by him towards TNA/Impact Wrestling. 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @RealityOfWrestling

      It’s funny AJ said that then like a year later started working with Booker and they became close friends and AJ understood why Booker lost his passion there. AJ even worked some ROW events and have interviews where AJ talks about Booker teaching him.
      It’s interesting to see how people’s perception changes when they aren’t frustrated like AJ became with TNA :)
