Jon & Jon the problem with a Zeus is that you have to be at knife range and it costs money so its basically better to stab a guy in the back since that one hit kills too.

Someone on the GO subreddit posted a helpful list of things you should buy, in order of importance.
1. Armor
2. Rifle/Pro 90
3. Smokes and Flashes
4. Defusal kit if you're CT
5. HE grenade

How do I convince teammates to NOT buy bizon every round?
Are you silver, or are you talking about "every 2nd round buy".
Bizon is actually better and worth the $300 for 2nd round. It's got almost double the other Eco guns magazines' and a fairly consistent spray.
COLATA Yes, I am silver and I am referring to most buy rounds where at least one person has enough for armour + AK / M4 and buys armour + bizon and sometimes no armour.
Lord Sircasm As long as they are good with it I'm fine with it. But when they're dying every round because they fail at every confrontation I try to suggest to them to buy and AK/M4 and see how they do with that. Most people don't listen.

Also if you are a silver don't buy helmet because your enemies probably ain't going for hedshots

Speaking of armor, it would be nice if armor and helmet were represented on character models, so that you could see if a player has no armor, only body armor, or armor & helmet.

Nah, that would encourage even more people to used uncontrolled, random spray to get kills than we already have. At least the possibility of armour encourages people to at least try to get headshots.

How? Armor and helmet being represented on character models couldn't possibly affect whether a person decides to random spray or not. If they're going to random spray, they're going to random spray whether they see the armor and helmet or not, because random spraying is the result of desperate attempts to get the game to give away a kill like Call of Duty does, usually due to a lack of skill on part of the player, not the result of "oh, they have armor, better spray the entire mag just in case spraying almost all the mag doesn't work".
Kevin Osavo The possibility of a person having armour will always incentivize pre-aim at head level. If somebody sees that a person has no armour, I can guarantee that people will spray, why aim for head with an AK/M4 if you just fire in the general direction and only have to hit 3 times to kill them. I am, of course, talking about lower elo levels.

WarOwl when i started playing cs go i were stuck in silver for months but when i started watching ur videos and learned all the things in cs go about 2 months later i became DMG rank so thank you war owl! :)

Fraggrenades are very usefull against armored opponents! With the right prenades on CT side you can take down your enemies enough to be a one hit headshot with m4 or a onehit legshot with awp, this makes the m4 as deadly as the AK and it makes every hitbox on an enemy a oneshot with the AWP. And it only takes about 20hp damage on your enemy.. You can even coordinate a nadestack with teammates which will still be deadly against armored opponents..

It's a bit ironic how the MP7 has little armor penetration, when in real life, it's catridge was designed specifically for penetrate body armor. (Before I get any hate, I know this isn't real life and CS:GO is not trying to be reallistic)

Warowl can u go over the glock? I feel like the glock is such a different weapon compared to the p2000 and usp. Is there a different play style to using the glock? Usually I try to tap shoot, but the glock is so inaccurate at tap shooting compared to the 2 CT starting pistols so it is very hard to kill anyone at medium-longer ranges. It is also not a one hit kill at medium ranges when you shoot the head, even without head armor, so is it better to try and body shot then?
***** If you try spamming the glock you'll probably miss most of your shots and you'll get headshotted pretty quickly, I want to find out a quicker way to kill your opponents before you get headshotted by the cts on pistol round. Lets keep in mind I'm talking about medium-longer ranges, so a good example of this would be taking LONG A on dust2, it's hard to try and move up onto the site when they're watching from the site with their usps, you'll shoot at them, most likely miss, and get picked off one by one if you are unable to rush them fast enough.

Incendiary grenade- quality military grade fire grenade, quite expensive.
Molotov- apparently some really high quality wine bottle with a rag and a lighter, still cheaper compared to a well made grenade. IS LESS AFFECTED BY KEVLAR

decreases defuse time by 5 seconds, which is very important sometimes

The defuse kit lets you defuse the bomb faster, if im correct it is 5 seconds (50%)
always have 3 kits in the team, when the economy is right for it, so when all of you can buy,
First of all, "what does the defuse kit" isn't a sentence.
The defuse kit cuts bomb defusal time in half for CT's.

I am Turkish and I even hate Turkish people in csgo.A moment I was playing in Dust 2 (T side) I found a m4a4 and I was so happy. A Turkish guy was swearing at me for not picking up his autosniper. (He has 12k)

+Ugur Uflaz gotta think of the whole team still, you pick up the autosniper for him, he buys you a AK/M4. Without picking up the autosniper for him he can't buy you that AK/M4 and you've caused the team to lose $2k more than it could have otherwise.

This is how I would change armour in counter strike-
Kevlar vest subtracts 8 movement speed while equipped, with the helmet subtracting an additional 2, this is because of the corner rounding and run'n'gun problems currently in cs:go, and makes full bought players slightly easier to hit on an anti-eco situation.
While the kevlar vest currently blocks 95% of aimpunch and the helmet blocks all aimpunch, I would revert it to 90%, as a sort of buff to weapons that cannot kill the enemy in a single round- but in a head-on confrontation this won't matter as the recipient can compensate for said aimpunch easily.
Damage to armour would be calculated differently, at a rate of 75% of blocked, compared to the current 50%. This means weapons with lower armour penetration severly weaken it, possibly forcing a rebuy the next round if enough damage is sustained. If armour does break off mid fight, the user is no longer penalized by the movement nerfs. I know this isn't realistic, but CS:GO is a great game, not a great simulator.
Just a last touch, allies cannot damage armour through any means. (So you don't have to spend the 1000$ for a helmet the next round if a team member decides to shoot you in a game where you would otherwise be unharmed)
These changes would make expensive buys less common, making money even more of a concern, and mid match eco's more frequent, with said eco's facing less of an uphill battle due to just how effective armour is currently.
So Warowl I have a question. What do you do if your team is convinced you will lose? I encountered this situation and I am not sure what to do.

I would disagree that you should not buy the UMP-45 on round 2. It does more damage than a FAMAS, has a ludicrous kill reward of $600 (You can earn the weapon back in two kills) and is suprisingly accurate at range, it is basically a budget rifle that you can force buy every round.

Can i ask what rank are you? No offense but i think you're not very high rank if you really find armour in first round really helpful because atleast people at about nova4 and up will go for head shots in first round and the armour is kinda useless and you cant have any nades
general, I think ur not a high rank either lol because most people around the dmg-le rank where I play mostly buy armor so and maybe like 1 person buying nades
GeneralAiron when I posted that, I was Silver Master, and only played the game for 2 months. Now I'm Nova 4 and I got most of my tips from The WO and Anger. I started playing csgo this summer (2014) was an MMO player b4, pretty happy of what I made. What I want to say is, theses videos are not only for high ranked player ;)

Hey WarOwl - Do you know if buying helmet makes a difference on Nades, when they are thrown high? I've taken ~80 damage from a grenade with only armor.
