While the run speed is still much slower in most cases, it is actually faster than the machine guns- in other words adding more weight to the Negev by picking up a hostage while lugging the big gun actually makes you run faster.
GREAT stuff! It's a very basic and easy to understand concept, but one that seems to be unnoticed, or maybe ignored, by most of the players, even at the higher ranks. I hope people watch this, so we have a more competitive and team-play community.
+MassivePuncake aswell as faceit (which is free). oh and if you are new or lower ranked i would not reccomend any of these services since most of the players there are at typically a bit of a higher skill level than you would get in your mm game. as far as i know faceit also doesnt have a ranking system from the get go so you play some games like in normal mm and get ranked after that. in that time you will probably play with LEM-Global players. just my experience :)

In fact, if you anti-eco the second round and the other team either force buys (and wins) or beats you while eco'd you WILL have to save the 3rd round. CT side is far more likely to not buy much the next round compared to T-side This is why teams either call a light buy or just a full save on the second round if they win. However, I find that teams MG1+ almost never force buy the second round after a loss because they understand the meta a bit more then your average GN player and the risks associated in the early game.

He is known for "facepalm", "omg", or "how stupid can you get?!" moments while still talking like a real professional. But that is the most interesting part of him. That's why you get a pre-made team and have every player in your team practice their aim, reaction time, economic knowledge, cooperation, and communication. With all of that you can perform good consistently.. P.S. Practice grenade throws too.
One of my favorite strategies if you lose pistol round on CT side is a second round full save. You save fully on the second round and see what weapons the terrorists purchased. If you see a large majority of them bought SMGs, you can force buy on the 3rd round with famases and catch them off guard. Since Ts will instinctively not upgrade on round 3 (as they expect you to save until round 4), you have a large weapon advantage and can steal the momentum away. If they don't have SMGs and buy AKs instead, you simply save until round 4 like normal.

An interesting Pistol Round strat I've seen and used occasionally (although it works better on T side because tec-9s ), is to have two players buy tec-9s and drop them to two other players who buy armor. The players who bought tec-9s can now buy a smoke each and the third guy can do something like buying a flash/molotov (if you have a particular strat using a molotov) or just generally whatever he likes. The other team is almost always suprised by this and it makes for a good base if you want to take a site (two smokes and a flash!).
Quake has some rules in TDM too, like "Don't go snatching armor if you don't have a good weapon, unless it's the only way to keep it out of enemy hands." "Always rush to help your team secure the invulnerability powerup when it's about to spawn." "Don't pick DM17." etc.
When I got into CS:GO, my friend played casual with me, to teach me the difference between the CoD series and CS. Now, I am a pretty good player, because he taught me that buying isn't always the best idea.
( i know this might not sound like a good strat but it always works for me ) if you are on T side on mirage or dust 2 buy armor and switch you glock to burst the econd round and rush B through appartments
i'm really struggling with cs at the moment, I've watched most of your videos and sniper is my role, i am unranked and it's frustrating, I have great aim from playing quake for quite a few years. It is so frustrating because i am getting 3 kills a round and still losing the round, i want to get ranked so that i can start climbing but i can't win a single game, I'm pulling 40 frags and 9 mvps a game and stilll losing. I don't have friends to play with and i have tried all of your techniques that you use in your solo queue but I need some luck soon man. Just gotta keep grinding! But jesus christ it is hard when the hole of your team when playing go mid and you're trying to cover a and b at the same time.

Best second round wep is Bizon imo. After you won pistolround tho. Big magazine,very effective aganist unarmmored opponents and even you can harvest them.

Revolver is pretty good. It is like a very tough bot's weapon - small delay and guaranteed headshot
Very good video! I'll have to watch it couple times to get remembered. It is very valuable to not eco 2 rounds in a row when it is not necessary.

One of my favorite strategies if you lose pistol round on CT side is a second round full save. You save fully on the second round and see what weapons the terrorists purchased. If you see a large majority of them bought SMGs, you can force buy on the 3rd round with famases and catch them off guard. Since Ts will instinctively not upgrade on round 3 (as they expect you to save until round 4), you have a large weapon advantage and can steal the momentum away. If they don't have SMGs and buy AKs instead, you simply save until round 4 like normal.

Hey WarOwl, I love your videos. They're the reason I bought and started playing CS:GO 8 months ago. I just hit global elite (solo quing) and must say I owe a lot of it to your videos, words of encouragement and attitude towards the game. Hopefully we get paired up in a pug sometime!

An interesting Pistol Round strat I've seen and used occasionally (although it works better on T side because tec-9s ), is to have two players buy tec-9s and drop them to two other players who buy armor. The players who bought tec-9s can now buy a smoke each and the third guy can do something like buying a flash/molotov (if you have a particular strat using a molotov) or just generally whatever he likes. The other team is almost always suprised by this and it makes for a good base if you want to take a site (two smokes and a flash!).

Quake has some rules in TDM too, like "Don't go snatching armor if you don't have a good weapon, unless it's the only way to keep it out of enemy hands." "Always rush to help your team secure the invulnerability powerup when it's about to spawn." "Don't pick DM17." etc.
When I got into CS:GO, my friend played casual with me, to teach me the difference between the CoD series and CS. Now, I am a pretty good player, because he taught me that buying isn't always the best idea.

i'm really struggling with cs at the moment, I've watched most of your videos and sniper is my role, i am unranked and it's frustrating, I have great aim from playing quake for quite a few years. It is so frustrating because i am getting 3 kills a round and still losing the round, i want to get ranked so that i can start climbing but i can't win a single game, I'm pulling 40 frags and 9 mvps a game and stilll losing. I don't have friends to play with and i have tried all of your techniques that you use in your solo queue but I need some luck soon man. Just gotta keep grinding! But jesus christ it is hard when the hole of your team when playing go mid and you're trying to cover a and b at the same time.

Hey WarOwl can you please do a video showcasing the minimap on CS GO and it's importance during gameplay. I feel people should be more aware of their radar and it's signals. For example, showing the effects of decoys, how to enlarge the radar, tracking enemies, etc. Love all your videos, thanks!

Best second round wep is Bizon imo. After you won pistolround tho. Big magazine,very effective aganist unarmmored opponents and even you can harvest them.
