Nice review. I tried out the Phantom 11 in my Pro Shop the other day and was most impressed. My current putter is an old 2012 Select Newport 2 but I know in my heart that I’m going back for that 11 very soon.
I used to use a mallet putter for years. In covid I realised I was pulling my putts left most times after spending a week trying to work on it. Decided to go back to a blade putter with immediate improvement. Bought a Scotty Cameron Special Select Newport 2 & haven't looked back after also changing my grip to a claw grip. My average gain is 3.5 putts per round with my misses much closer. I used to never get close from 15 feet. Now I am either in or tap in range.
Purchased the Phantom 11 in 34". As soon as I put it down I was sold. Feel and sound is great. Just taking a little bit to get used of the heavier head as expected, but no complaints other than stock grip. Put on a 1.0 Tour Superstroke. Great video Hannah!
Great reviews. Whether you’re a male or female golfer everyone can find something relatable with your content. I’ve got a phantom 11 which I love, but now wish it had the arrow on.
Great review on the mini drivers. I’ve been using the brnr one for a month now and it’s got my game back on track. Can’t wait for the Titleist GT reviews - love my tsr 5 wood
Went with the 9..liked the two lines and compact look..two rounds and have made some long putts ( forgot how that felt lately)..beautiful putter…note try different lengths ended up with 34” and was surprised on how that freed my putting stroke
Have a 5.5 and love it - always really liked the look of the 9 from the previous range Your oh no made me laugh cause I would be the same - don't want this putter to work haha
Thank you for saying that. Armlock putter are generally 42" and going to be on average 6 inches longer than Counter Balanced putter at 38" Jailbird or a SC 11 Long etc. My goodness you'd expect anyone giving putter advice would know the difference 😮
hi Hannah some great looking putters there...the different options for lining up putts are very interesting...unfortunately or not my Taylor Made Spider Tour X is working a treat at the moment, so im not in the market for a new one...however you never know when me and Spider may fall out !!! Great video keep up the good work
great review! currently waiting for my new squareback! added the 30 weights at 33", SC wont add a dot or line to the top, anyone know why? also, for $500 why the lousy velcro covers? just curious, cant wait!
it depends on your vision and what feels good. Yes your vision tells you more about what type of putter just not which. My vision is blade vision but do I hit a scotty or ping or odyssey???? That's up to feel.
It would be really useful to understand the different putter weight types e.g. face weighted, toe hang. I was fitted for a putter last year and I ended up with a model that I didn't necessarily feel would suit me but I putted best with (it was a toe hang)
@@hannahholdenNCG you have a boyfriend? if not I can fly and meet u in whales? Let me find a Jamie Oliver restaurant to whine and dine you and talk about golf

Its funny how many times an armature will switch out putters to only get the same result... Not speaking for me, of course... :) My playing partners have either the Scotty or Lab putter. Meanwhile, I go with the super expensive Wilson infinite putter, 38 inch. I've tried the Scotty but never liked the feel of them..
thats like saying you dont like food! They do sooo many that there has to be one that you'd like!!! Though there are plenty of great other options out there as well.
I agree. I don't like the look of the phantoms. I struggle to line them up and the feel of the face to me is clicky. The blades are beautiful but I struggle to get them to sit correctly. Also very expensive.
Fan of Titleist through bag just don't like there putters got odyssey al went for fitting at top place and was told there very unforgiving I find them hard to control and they just bounce off the face won't be buying one
None of them. I seen a Scotty in a bag and their so cheap (in a bad way) that they have a velcro head cover. Absolutely scandalous considering putters which cost less have a magnetic head cover.
If you’re above a mid to high it’s pointless spending money on golfing equipment. Waste. A PGA coach or shop pro will rinse you buying garbage like this. It won’t stop you 3 putting let’s be honest. ‘’Stop watching UA-cam videos Ric Shiels & all that s**t & beat balls work on your swing’ Tiger Woods
Just over priced putters that are no better than a putter for £100 quid. People will play worse with them, but because of the price tag they'll keep them in the bag.... egotistical fools.
That arrow alignment on the 11 really looks good to my eye; like really, really good. Great rundown, thanks for doing it!
I also really like that 🙌🏻
Bought the Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5. Very good feel. Love it 😊

I had the 11.5 and traded it for the new 11.5. I thought it was mostly the alignment lines, but the head is quite different

Big fan of the Newport 2, and been gaming a Select since my studio was stolen couple years ago... Tried a mallet and didn't help my putts that much...
I love my 5, the sightline looks super nice and the neck type suits my putting stroke great.
thank you Hannah. As these came out with a brand new design grip I would have liked to hear your findings. Any afterthoughts?

@@hannahholdenNCG That is a counterbalanced putter, not a armlock...
The long versions ARE NOT ARMLOCK. They are simply counter-balance. Armlock putters will have very different lofts to account for the shaft angle.

Is it an armlock putter? Thought they were counter balanced? Scotty's version of the jailbird cruiser?
They all look great except for the bent shaft. A shaft made that way looks cheap. Considering they overpriced, they all should have a better shaft.
