Thanks for the video! I picked one up and am very happy with it. It looks amazing and feel very nice. I was looking for a plumbers neck smaller mallet and this one fits that perfectly. I like the chromatic bronze finish and am excited to see how it ages.

You and I couldn't be more on the same page, we picked it up for the exact same reasons. And I agree, curious to see how it ages!

Great review of this putter. I’ve the Del mar California which is a very similar colour to this. Have it since released in 2011 and still using it. Recently purchased the 6.2 and will get it out for a try tomorrow, love the size and shape of it and I couldn’t agree more about the Velcro cover but Scotty has been doing that for years now and ain’t looking like changing

Thank you. Would love to hear how the 6.2 compares to the Del Mar. send me a message once you do!

Played my first round with my Golo Xperimental. The finish on the bottom is already scuffing off...scramble and par was the cap. I had maybe 10 puts total. Also agreed on the putter cover. I do love the feel though.

Gez don’t like to hear of scuffing after 3 rounds 🙈 I mite keep the protective sticker on the bottom of mines if that’s the case 😂

The bottom of mine looks to be the same sole plate as on my 5.5, and my 5.5 hasn't scuffed yet and I have used it all season. Maybe Chris just got a bit of a lemon. But I will keep you updated if it does scuff.

@bogeydepot yeah maybe. The sole plate is fine. The bronze finish is wearing off of the edge of the putter. It's an experimental finish, so it could be an issue who knows. I emailed titleist yesterday after the round to let them know at the very least. They responded quickly today and asked for pictures.

I had to get this putter. It was exactly what I wanted from Scotty, a mid-mallet with a plumbers neck. It's very similar with the 2024 Bettinbardi BB1 wide that I have been gaming this year, has similar toe hang and similar head weight.

How do you like the feel and forgiveness?

@@bogeydepot Bettinardi has a softer feel but a bit more feedback because of a cut through slot. Also it has subtle shaping that aids in alignment but also they took some weight off the heel to move the cg to the center of the face which also aids in feel and forgiveness. I currently game the Bettinardi at 35” and choke down but it’s a bit heavier overall than my 34” Six.2 so my speed control is a bit better with the Scotty. Overall, both putters are very similar with feel and forgiveness. I will likely rotate between the two for my gamer.

@@bogeydepot but if I had to choose, it would be the Bettinardi simply because it comes with a nice magnetic head cover! 😂

@@bogeydepot I hate the velcro head cover just as much as you do. AM&E the company that makes Scotty head covers has a magnetic version too for the mid mallet.

I love the looks of this. I was able to order direct from Titleist, and mine arrives today. I still haven't decided if I'm going to use it or hang on to it. I have a handful of Scotty's, including the Concept X 7.2 LTD, and a few Ping PLD's, so it's not like I needed it. I was going to pass, and then when I received the Titleist email to preorder, I caved. I don't have any rounds coming up until the end of October, so I have plenty of time to decide. Thank you for the excellent review!

Thanks for watching. That Concept X 7.2 LTD is quite the collectors item. I bought mine to use since it has the plumbers neck, and am very happy so far. I played yesterday and was just shocked at how forgiving it is.
One thing is for sure, you won't lose money on your purchase, it will only go up if you don't use it!

I have about 4 rounds in mine. Lots coming soon. Looks like new so far. But they way I am putting with it don’t really care if it wears. She is money!

@bogeydepot yep such a nice feel to it. I emailed titleist to inform them of the possible finish issue on mine. It's not terrible, but more toward the toe is wearing down to the steel color and along the edge.
