Do you open the fuel filler flap when washing your car? Maybe a pressure washer to the solonoid has gotten water inside and is causing an intermittent short internally
Guess you haven't finished watching the video... they have changed the design, because of the issues with failing and locking shut....now when they fail they don't lock
The letter on the end of the part number is just a date code.

The blue wire is only an option if you have puddle lights in your mirrors...blue wire goes to 12v of puddle light.

Not recently 🤷♂️ it's very strange, fault always comes back after turning the ignition on but the lock always works 🙄
I guess it might work in the same principle that LED's still work in place of halogen bulbs but cause an error

Common fault, door will eventually lock shut
