Pro chargers love the high rpms and the ability to constantly be at 6500-8000 with a 10 speed is awesome with a pro charger. The guy was Nose diving bad between gears. Guessing he is newish too a manual or that car. Not banging gears at all. Pro charger sounds 190% better so in the end it’s cheaper, easier to install and sounds better. Pro charger for the win. Lol
I have to say you are making some really solid vids nowadays. The whipple was the best addition to your channel thus far. Remember when you first got the GT and hadn’t driven stick in a while and now you’re ripping through the gears.

Interesting. I was expecting the procharged to lurch ahead at higher RPMs, but it was the other way around.
With manual cars driver goes a long way. I've installed nitrous, blowers and turbos on manual vehicles, go to the track with them and run a second or more faster with just me driving the car and nothing else.
Rush has more aggressive gears
The whipple 3.0 is like that it pulls good up top. An edlebrock 2650 hits a lot harder down low but doesn't have the steam up top like the whipple.
You can make good power with a positive displacement or centrifugal supercharger. It's all about the combination and tuning. When it comes to racing. The tire, gearing and transmission all play a roll. If it's a manual that makes a huge difference depending on experience of the driver.
With a manual transmission the driver's experience plays a huge role. Gearing is also a huge factor. Centrifugal superchargers need more aggressive gearing since they don't make good low end torque.
A friend has a pro charged 2017 and I know how fast it moves. This just shows what a beast your car is. Video doesn't do justice 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Just got my stage 1 whipple on my 2020 a couple months ago, beast. Took down a 19 zl1 pretty easily. Both of us were on 91 octane manual cars. Digging the channel

looked like some good clean races. both cars are making well over 600 WHP(one of them is making 750 if i remember correctly from the other day) and if i had a car, i'd probably be scared to race either one of these two cars!
Looked pretty close to me, for the most part until the top end of the higher gears the Whippled Mustang seems to really start pulling. That Procharger blow-off sounds pretty cool though.
I love when people say "oh his car is faster but it couldn't hook" That means his car isn't faster lol. It might make more power but if his set up wont let him use all of it then its pointless.

I have an F1A-94 Procharger on my 06 3V and it's an absolute monster ! I'd love to put it up against a whipple to see. No dyno yet, but it feels way stronger than my 2.3L TVS I had previously.

That looks like A Paxton not a ProCharger. Procharger is Mounted on place of where the cold air box is. And this is where Vortech/Paxton mounts
Procharger makes special emission concerned kits that mount where Paxton's do for california cars. You can see this on their website
One last thing any Great Shops and Tuners? Obviously I’ll be looking at Mopar/SRT Shops, but would appreciate names of any Great Shops and Tuners?

I’d say the rear-end gearing could’ve been a big factor, maybe the actual transmission gearing is different ?, I’m not sure. Buddy with the procharger may need to look at different suspension upgrades and tire upgrades if doing these roll races is his thing, you can have 900 horsepower but if it doesn’t hook then it’s no good.

With the procharger you need tall gears because all the HP is in the higher RPM range. I have 3.55's on my 2015 auto (i know auto is lame but its my daily and i live in a city) but with the help of a longer power band the thing pulls forever. I'm on procharger's tune and would guess i probably make 670ish to the wheels so if he claims to be making 740 he's got to be on a custom tune and just have short gears. I believe the performance pack comes stock with 3.71's which doesn't allow the procharger to really reach full boost.
Only guy I know get a 18+ manual lol . I love manual but that 10 spd is crazy

Looks like it’s a paxton/vortech kit not a procharger. Procharger brackets are typically on the driver side unless it was modified somehow
Carb legal kit is mounted different so you could use the factory air box

Really think the procharged car with a better driver would been a closer race, either way both cars are running hard, and both cars need better tires to put the power down.
I just yesterday got a challenger rt and I'm super happy with it. Definitely not one of the real big boys but it's a v8 and I love it. I'm kind of interested in doing some runs with people who are close in speed to a stock 5.7 while it's still stock. Lmk if anyone wants to meet up! I'm in south Jersey btw

It seems like a roots style supercharger would be best for a manual transmission because the instant power will kinda compensate for the time between shifts and that a centrifugal or turbo system is best for the 10spd with the closer gear ratios and faster shifts🤷♂️ But what do I know, I'm just an NA boy right now

Spot on. The pro charger in a 3.55 a10 is a nasty set up. The 10 speed is always at the top of the rev range when shifting at WOT. The lack of low end torque becomes a non issue there. Also, from a dig, the lack of torque down low makes traction more manageable than a roots style charger.

Seems like the white mustang is a inexperienced driver with a clutch. Slippery clutch will not lay power down. With that kind of power and same torque as yours Rush he should of pulled away all day. Driver for the win Bro!
