Hi @Swelendslore, I've just started reading Star Wars Legends novels, based on your recommendation in the Legends chronological order video. I want to ask if the Legends comics are also part of the same storyline as the novels or if they are separate. This is because the Legacy era featuring Darth Krayt isn't included in the any Legends novels.
@@HUNK__S Good question. Legends Comics and Novels are all apart of the same storyline. Legends novels end nearly 100 years before the Legacy Comic Book Series begins, so none of them directly touch on Darth Krayt or Cade Skywalker. However, a lot of the concepts in Legacy are evolutions of the plot points that began in Legends novels. I don't want to spoil anything about Darth Krayt or Legacy if you haven't read it, but he does play into some things that have happened in earlier Legends material more than it might initially seem. Thanks for watching!

Got into Legends comics at Dawn of the Jedi and stopped reading because I was busy. Your videos (especially the graphics) have been very useful for getting back into it!
Thank you! If you’d like to help the channel out, send this video to anyone you know who needs help learning how to read Legends comics. Thanks for watching!
Vielen Dank. 😅
Marvel has done a great job collecting the EU into new collected editions! I'm considering making a video detailing how to read all of this in the modern day. Would that be something you're interested in?
Great job! This video is so useful as a checklist. I didn't know about some of these because they weren't relased in Spain. I think that Star Wars (1977) #108 (the one that was relased in 2019) takes place after Return of the Jedi.
Excellent video, it helps a lot! Although do you know where to read or find a chronological timeline that puts together both books and comics in one timeline? Not sure if you are planning to release a full timeline like that... I can tell this took a lot of work but perhaps something where you can just show the order without delving to much in the content like you have done in these videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I do actually have a video series that features every book, comic, video game, movie, tv, short story, etc. in timeline order. You can find the link here: ua-cam.com/play/PLZigB5kkaALt8O8HazM5lkXPMriILi7wM.html&si=p6l9l7kbx7tUV7EK It’s still a work in progress, but there are five episodes out so far.
Considering the absolute massive scope of these comics this might be a difficult question to answer, and if you cant thats fine, but id like to ask are these canon? And if only some of them are can I ask which ones are they?
great video! very intuitive and helpful - dropped a sub and a like - do you think, though, that you could make a video in the future about the best ways to get all of these comics with all the marvel and whatnot epic collections and omnibuses? thanks a lot man keep up the great work.
Thank you very much! Yes, that’s a video that’s definitely in the works. As a collector myself, I know how frustrating it is to find the Epics and Omnibus needed to read everything. I’d love to help simplify that for people!
Good question. As of now, I'd say about 40-50% of these have collected in Marvel omnibus. There are no Clone Wars Omnibus yet, everything in The Old Republic has yet to release in omnibus except the KotOR series, we don't have a Legacy omnibus, etc. I'm currently working on a video about how you can read Star Wars Omnibus in order and how to read Star Wars Epics in order.
Is there a better way to do a galatic timeline? I hate this "5000 years before WW2" count down. Llike its hard for me to quantify the larger numbers. Like you know when you hear about the 1500s or B.C. times its kinda easier to wrap your head around. I really like how Gundam (at least in the beginning) does it with "U.C. 0078" like we came 78 years into their new millennium.
Unfortunately, that’s the way it is and has always been in Star Wars. I guess the only other way you could do it is to start with DotJ as the “0 year” and then do the math to calculate everything from there. But since Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was the first piece of Star Wars media ever, it sits as the “0 year” for Star Wars.

Do these tie in with the books
Yes, they tie in with all of the Star Wars Legends books.
@@swlegendslore thanks for the reply
I would have notated that The Storyteller and The Fourth Precept occur after Legacy II. What software do you use for editing your videos?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro
I like legend material
It’s usually pretty great
