Fun fact:The voice actor who played Megatron (Tom Schalk) has also voiced the Kool-Aid Man,Dio,Omni-Man, and SpongeBob on Death Battle. Edit: Also, this is my favorite performance from him on the show.
To explain the Broly thing, Goku and Vegeta had to split to learn how to fuse to help defeat a rampaging Broly. Frieza was on the battlefield and right before they teleported away, Goku flew right in front of him mid chase saying "Have fun, Frieza!", leaving Broly to start pounding into him. Goku and Vegeta ended up fudging up the fusion dance twice, requiring a 30 minute cooldown to defuse each time till they got it.

So they are basically going off Megatron's G1 incarnation which is from the original show/timeline in the 80s. Early Transformers series did something called mass-shifting (which I personally don't like) with Megatron being the worst offender. His 30 ft tall robot (the films he's 38ft which they use in his stats) shrinks down into a Transformer sized Walter. But can shrink even further into one capable of being used by a human. The live action films desperately trying to make everything scale with equivalent masses. For instance, Prime's size changes depending on what kind of truck he has as an alternate form, but is always an equivalent mass to said truck and is limited to what forms he can take. For instance Optimus (in the movies) cannot become a human aircraft like an F22 or 747. Also don't worry about not knowing Megatron became an Autobot. I only learned about that earlier this year. And I'm a Transformer nerd. That only happened very recently in the new 2020-era comics picking up where G1 initially ended (ignoring the short lived G2 phase) Fun fact: in many incarnations of Transformers, Cybertron is, in fact, the dormant form of the Creator God, Primus. Whom Frieza just kinda killed. Whoops.
Considering the fact that makima's power isn't even really showcased in the anime currently with Season one being the only season currently recorded at the time of this comment. Then there's the most recent fight Gojo particupated in in the manga that I'm also certain they will be bringing in for power scaling purposes that has yet to be animated either. As such if you intend to watch either Chainsaw Man or Jujitsu Kaisen and don't want spoilers for either... steer clear of this battle. As for those who ARE caught up and those who don't care about spoilers... we in for a spectacle 😀
I feel like Megatron's inclusion wasn't really to show him as being more powerful, but rather that he can still match with the best of them. The transfomers as a whole is not as big as it deserves to be, and like you said, there's many people whose only experience has been the movies. There's so much more to megatron than that, which is why they even included his redemption arc in the description even tho it didn't play into the battle. The important thing about Megs here was not his power but his Character.
Not really because they MASSIVELY undersold how powerful he was in IDW. IDW transformers is pretty comparable to Archie Sonic or just Marvel and DC in general for how OP the characters are compared to their more well known counterparts.
So some note. That was LittleKuriboh voicing Freezer again and he certainly hasn't lot a step on that one. The track is titled Final Formers and is another great Brandon Yates track. Prior to the battle's release there was a serious debate as to if IDW comics, which they used alongside the G1 cartoons, would be enough to help Megatron close the power gap since it was readily apparent that the cartoon version couldn't compete with what Freezer was capable of at this point. In one of the side boxes they note that the way antimatter works is very similar to how Beerus described how Hakai, pure destruction energy, worked. Freezer previously withstood a direct hit from a Hakai blast, albeit a rather weak one, so its possible that his raw power could allow him to resist the antimatter. They didn't use this argument since its pure speculation and Freezer's speed advantage meant it hardly mattered. This is the fifth win Dragon Ball as gotten with the previous three being Gogeta vs Vegito, Beerus vs Galaxia, Roshi vs Jiraya and Hercule vs Dan. If you want to discount Gogeta vs Vegito, which is fair, that means Dragon Ball now has 4 wins and Freeza is the only one of the main group to manage a win since Goku lost to Superman twice and Vegeta to Thor. The next battle is Gojo vs Makima and like others have suggested, you might want to give it a miss because its going to spoiler heavy for both characters. Edit: I was reminded that Vegeta beat Shadow and 18 beat Captain Marvel so that's 6 wins with Goku being the only one who hasn't won a Death Battle. Edit 2: Oh and that Golden Freezer transformation is a near perfect shot-for-shot recreation of the one from Resurrection F. This is also probably the first time we've seen a 3D Black Freezer since his debut in the manga.

I'm glad DevilArtemis gave Megatron the respect he was deserved, but Death Battle absolutely screwed him over from the fucking beginning. But after giving Goku two definitive losses to Superman, there was no way DB was gonna let Freeza take an L as well.
Such a banger of the battle this one was as it seems crazy to witness two villains going ham at each other 😬 till next Death Battle is going to be one insane fight that I believe seems best to skip if you are going to watch those animes. As I heard good things from each one that you might need to watch before watching that DB. I hope you have a good time watching it as the Dub in both series are great like the Sub version but I highly recommend watching Jujutsu Kaisen in Sub as something about Gojo seems fitting in sub.
I'm sad they never gave megatron dark energon in the battle It would have a big part in the battle. It's not as strong as anti matter But it is pretty tough and has many powers Like it's regular counterpart energon. It's basically the cybertronian's blood fuel drinks energy and weapon fuel But dark energon is the anti energon basically A dark and purple substance that can spontaneously combust by getting into contact with. Turn the dead into zombie cybertronian's. Mind control. And poison any organic and even put them into a coma It's pretty powerful. Since It's the blood of unicron the cybertronian devil that eats planets And megatron overpowered it and just injected himself with it like it was Nothing And now welds it. Heck even his decepticon men even made bombs and shell bombs that have that same energon in it. And he even poisoned the core of cybertron as well It's pretty powerful I'd say
wouldn't have made a difference. Frieza was just leagues above any version of megatron, this was a fairly unbalanced death battle that really shouldn't have been done
@@RenegadeSpider2 Like they do for every DC char against a dragon ball character. They HAVE to fuse them all together to combine all the strengths, and remove all weaknesses, in order to stand a chance...
As TF nerd, I knew Megatron probably didn't stand a chance against Frieza. Unless they combined every incarnation of Megatron into one, then he might hold a slightly better chance. Now I want to see Galactus vs Unicron. A cosmic battle of epic proportions.
Honestly, I was surprised Megatron even stood a chance. There's a reason Frieza can just use his power and intimidation to beat foes. He's just that powerful. Even in the original series. I'm almost sorry to see them doing Makima. It's going to spoil some major plot points of Chainsaw Man.

Yeah next ones a must pass, nevermind anime spoilers, MANGA spoilers are in spades. But a quick synopsis is Gojo v Makima is a fight that embodies the words " Unstoppable force meets Immovable object"
Makima from Chainsaw Man shows a tiny bit of her powers in the anime. Her true abilities come into play into season 3 or 4. They just announced season 2. Idk jack about Gojo
Megatron should’ve taken it. Antimatter would’ve literally reduced Frieza to nothing the moment it swept over his entire body like that. There would be nothing left of him. I don’t get why they even brought up Megatron’s antimatter abilities if they weren’t going to properly use them. They act like the other near-death injuries Frieza has had are even remotely comparable to something that literally DESTROYS ANY AND ALL MATTER ON CONTACT REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT IS.
6:30 Goku had to match the speed and force of beerus' punch after the initial punches to cancel out beerus' punches to not potentially destroy the universe.
Yo duck I also got another channel that you may enjoy going by the name of Rylee Reloaded they do a lot of Destiny 2 content. Now you probably don’t know what destiny is but in short it’s a looter shooter with deep lore, but Rylee does fun content and challenges that are very fun. If I had a video that I would recommend for as an introduction it would be the “Solo flawless every dungeon in destiny 2”
Am I the only one who has a problem with when they said “Only if the anti mater can cover frieza completely” but in the animation shows he did also frieza is known to underestimate his opponents so frieza would just stand there thinking the anti mater wouldn’t affect him.
Yeah Chainsaw Man and Jiujutsu Kaisen are both big popular anime done by Studio Mappa. The authors of both series are good friends that joke about how one constantly steals from the other due to similarities in the series but in reality they take inspiration off each other's work. Gojo Purel hand sanitizer man is a character so broken by my understanding the creator himself hated the broken popularity he gained and wanted to kill the character off. Makima is much described as Hu Tao in Max0r's Genshin Impact video in the similar terms as the winner of the most terrifying simps award. She herself is as scary as she is able to make a handholding scenario appear actually provocative and hypersexual
Imagine having the power to destroy the universe with a finger, yet you still lose your temper and ego shattered when an oversized action figure tells you how meaningless your victory is in the long run.
While I do agree with the result since Frieza is indeed faster and has more destructive power than Megs, I have to say that scenario they show would end up with the emperor of evil half dead in the floor, he only survived being cut in half cause Goku gave him some of his ki, he was like a second away from meeting Enma-sama untill the monkey helped him, so, agree Frieza would win in most scenarios, but they are really over hipping Frieza's resistance, probably to avoid the "is cause you hate DBZ" comments
Yeah, if you do intend on watching both JJK and Chainsaw Man, and want to remain spoiler free then you should 1000% skip the next Death Battle. Especially when it comes to Chainsaw Man because there's only one season currently, without a doubt they are gonna spoil the hell out of Makima cause it's the only way to explain her abilities and such Also... "Oh god, he got the N-word pass" made me laugh a lot. But yeah, this was an incredible Death Battle, one of the best in the season. DevilArtemis killed it with this being his first Blender animation for the show. Everything you witness was all done by him, bro was cooking!
OK! The one After that is Probably a Joke Death Battle. Basically Not knowing, ANYTHING about the Other 2 Characters, is Kinda Like NOT Having Childhood. I saw them at the Early Days, I was able to Watch Cartoons. Also I Still Didn't Saw theduckgoesmoo Reacting to Deadpool VS The Mask, Kenshiro VS Jojo, And Don't Remember IF He Reacted to Shang Tsung VS Akuma...
The Chainsaw Man anime is gonna need more seasons before you can watch the next death battle. Trust me, you want to avoid spoilers from the manga at all cost.
actually, Frieza probably wouldn't get deleted by antimatter at all, he took an attack made of Destruction Ki, power exclusive to gods of destruction, which, like antimatter, just deletes stuff, (and probably is just literally antimatter tbh), he not only took that attack, but he harnessed it and threw it at Goku for the lulz, so there is actually an in-universe precedent for Frieza being resistant to ANTI-MATTER, there was no shot he was losing this
I watched the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, mainly because it happened to be on a streaming service I had. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. Never got around to watching Chainsaw man. I would recommend The Eminence in Shadow, you could do with an isekai.

That is little Kuriboh, don't worry.
I'm glad DevilArtemis gave Megatron the respect he was deserved, but Death Battle absolutely screwed him over from the fucking beginning.
But after giving Goku two definitive losses to Superman, there was no way DB was gonna let Freeza take an L as well.
Hello Duck-friend! Glad to see you enjoy Duck’s nerding out as much as we do!
It was both Goku's and Beerus' doing, he was matching the big purple cat punch for punch.

Going off of Beast Wars time placement… since the dawn of man (most likely around the end of the Cretaceous)
Fun fact: This is the longest fight of the season and in a long time, running at over 4 minutes, while most modern episodes go for only 3 minutes
“Oh god he got the n word pass”
That’s going in the quote book
Huh, it’s a very interesting Matchup, still wasn’t expecting these two to face each other rather their own separate Matchups.
In the non-canon films, Frieza has brother named Cooler.
I'm sad they never gave megatron dark energon in the battle
It would have a big part in the battle. It's not as strong as anti matter But it is pretty tough and has many powers
Like it's regular counterpart energon. It's basically the cybertronian's blood fuel drinks energy and weapon fuel
But dark energon is the anti energon basically
A dark and purple substance that can spontaneously combust by getting into contact with. Turn the dead into zombie cybertronian's. Mind control. And poison any organic and even put them into a coma
It's pretty powerful. Since It's the blood of unicron the cybertronian devil that eats planets
And megatron overpowered it and just injected himself with it like it was Nothing
And now welds it. Heck even his decepticon men even made bombs and shell bombs that have that same energon in it. And he even poisoned the core of cybertron as well
It's pretty powerful I'd say
wouldn't have made a difference. Frieza was just leagues above any version of megatron, this was a fairly unbalanced death battle that really shouldn't have been done
@goromajima1462 There is the Alternity Version which is infinite Multiversal but that was a one time thing
@@Loldino897 we were doing one megatron vs one Frieza. We wasn’t doing the multiverse of megatrons to create that version
@@RenegadeSpider2 Like they do for every DC char against a dragon ball character. They HAVE to fuse them all together to combine all the strengths, and remove all weaknesses, in order to stand a chance...
@@RenegadeSpider2well full IDW Megatron would just crush frieza
As TF nerd, I knew Megatron probably didn't stand a chance against Frieza. Unless they combined every incarnation of Megatron into one, then he might hold a slightly better chance.
Now I want to see Galactus vs Unicron. A cosmic battle of epic proportions.
Honestly, I was surprised Megatron even stood a chance. There's a reason Frieza can just use his power and intimidation to beat foes. He's just that powerful. Even in the original series.
I'm almost sorry to see them doing Makima. It's going to spoil some major plot points of Chainsaw Man.
Before the analysis, I was also wondering how Megatron could handle even base-form Frieza, let alone Golden Frieza. So I was right there with you.
When he needs a reason Toriyama says 'I dono... Spit up an egg?'
How Namekians reproduce with no ladies... How King Cold had frieza will probably be the same... or a poop joke.
WARNING: THE NEXT BATTLE WILL CONTAIN MASSIVE (AND I MEAN MASSIVE) SPOILERS FOR THE JUJUTSU KAISEN AND CHAINSAW MAN MANGA. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE CAUGHT UP WITH THE LATEST CHAPTERS OF BOTH MANGA, OR JUST DON'T WATCH THE VIDEO AT ALL IF YOU ARE AN ANIME ONLY.
I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS, THIS FIGHT WAS FIRRRRRRRRRRE. DEATH BATTLE DON'T MISS I'M TELLING YA.
this battle seem to have consume the talk of death battle. as if the next battle doesn't exist yet. people are raving about this episode !
If I had a nickel for every Hasbro anti-villain in Death Battle that gave their opponents pyrrhic victories...
As for the next one, something big happened to Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen's more recent manga, so maybe read up on that as well before going in.
Have you ever gotten around to watching Samus vs boba fett remastered yet?
"Dont want you to sit through a mid roll add" add starts playing. Thanks nord
You are right, the kienzan can cut through anything, except perfect cells neck.
Fun fact, the transformers cosmology and multiverse is about as complicated and big as fate
Freeza might have killed Megatron but he had the last laugh since he wiped out his army, fleet and grievously wounded freeza who'll end up targeting his enemies to wipe out all cybertronians
There is going to be very heavy spoilers for both series in Gojo vs Makima
Hey, you finally learned how to use a green screen! Good for you man!
You know that if a battle like this actually happened, the Ginyu Force would also have to go against the highest ranking Decepticons; Cyclonus, Shockwave, Starscream, Skywarp and Soundwave
Yeah I knew the outcome of this fight Megatron can tank hits but his destructive power isn't even close to frieza's.
Transformers has a lot of coexisting continuities Megatron becoming good only occurs in the continuities of the comics published by IDW the transformers prime cartoon and the transformers earth spark cartoon in the all other iterations megatron stays bad
Yeah next ones a must pass, nevermind anime spoilers, MANGA spoilers are in spades.
But a quick synopsis is Gojo v Makima is a fight that embodies the words " Unstoppable force meets Immovable object"
In the likely event that you’ll have to skip the next time, you could do Akuma vs Shang Tsung, or maybe one of the others you’ve skipped
Death battle always showing us that there are loads of characters out there that can keep up with dragon ball characters lol
Literally no, Megatron comes NOWHERE near DB characters.
@@maxdrags3115 found one
I love how Megatron sounds a bit like Vegeta so it’s like a Frieza vs Vegeta fight
What an amazing battle, it’s put me on a frieza kick I can’t seem to get off of
Yeah, I had a feeling Frieza was gonna win this one, I mean, if he can survive dismemberment, then Megatron got no hope.
To me it doesn't matter if they do spoilers you'll still get a good reaction so I would still watch it
LittleKuriboh was Frieza. The credits go by fast, so you have to pay attention. Also, I don't see a green screen, I see your house.
The Cybertron war is Nine Million years old. Megatron is much, much older.
6:30 Goku had to match the speed and force of beerus' punch after the initial punches to cancel out beerus' punches to not potentially destroy the universe.
I only have four words for this fight: All Hail Lord Freeza
Yo Kyle, loving the new green screen.
Megatron normaly becomes a tank because usa made a ban on selling toy guns for a while after the cartoon came out so they had rebreand in as a tank
Freeza transformations gave me goosebumps.
Here to say that that is indeed Little Kuriboh.
I would wait till the end of season 2 of chainsaw man to react to it because if the anime has not reached makimas powers yet
Imagine having the power to destroy the universe with a finger, yet you still lose your temper and ego shattered when an oversized action figure tells you how meaningless your victory is in the long run.
While I do agree with the result since Frieza is indeed faster and has more destructive power than Megs, I have to say that scenario they show would end up with the emperor of evil half dead in the floor, he only survived being cut in half cause Goku gave him some of his ki, he was like a second away from meeting Enma-sama untill the monkey helped him, so, agree Frieza would win in most scenarios, but they are really over hipping Frieza's resistance, probably to avoid the "is cause you hate DBZ" comments
freaza was weekend then cut in half if he was cut in half near full power not straind he would still function like normal
This is why you need to watch the beerus death which your not going to get a copyright from
Yeah, if you do intend on watching both JJK and Chainsaw Man, and want to remain spoiler free then you should 1000% skip the next Death Battle. Especially when it comes to Chainsaw Man because there's only one season currently, without a doubt they are gonna spoil the hell out of Makima cause it's the only way to explain her abilities and such
Also...
Basically Not knowing, ANYTHING about the Other 2 Characters,
is Kinda Like NOT Having Childhood. I saw them at the Early Days, I was able to Watch Cartoons.
Also I Still Didn't Saw theduckgoesmoo Reacting to Deadpool VS The Mask, Kenshiro VS Jojo,
And Don't Remember IF He Reacted to Shang Tsung VS Akuma...
The Chainsaw Man anime is gonna need more seasons before you can watch the next death battle. Trust me, you want to avoid spoilers from the manga at all cost.
At least 2 more seasons probably 3
@@Loldino897 Yeah I'm holding off on the anime until part 1 is fully animated.

Megatron freaking gave Frieza trauma
Freaking loved it
actually, Frieza probably wouldn't get deleted by antimatter at all, he took an attack made of Destruction Ki, power exclusive to gods of destruction, which, like antimatter, just deletes stuff, (and probably is just literally antimatter tbh), he not only took that attack, but he harnessed it and threw it at Goku for the lulz, so there is actually an in-universe precedent for Frieza being resistant to ANTI-MATTER, there was no shot he was losing this
Freeza: That full metal n>%%ª didn’t stand chance
the next death battle will most likely have major manga spoilers for both.
I think the Antimatter wasn't that big a deal since, Frieza was able to fight through a Hakaiattack
Man has consumed too much abridged content
Skip the next one Spoilers

I watched the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, mainly because it happened to be on a streaming service I had. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. Never got around to watching Chainsaw man.
I would recommend The Eminence in Shadow, you could do with an isekai.
21:14 yeah definitely called this a one sided fight
LK does an amqzing Freeza despite the fact he has never seen an Iota if dragon ball
Im sad they didnt have Megatron call in an equip gear. But still, great battle.
If you’re serious about watching Jujutsu Kaisen/Chainsaw Man, you should probably skip the next battle.
On a related note, it’s completely safe for you to get around to watching Deku vs. Asta now. Assuming you don’t plan on watching Black Clover too.
