That bed set up looked so inviting. The older I get the more focus on comfort for me. Thanks. Great fit and finish.
Awesome! Thank you!
The more I look at this van…..the more I love it!it makes sense
awww thanks Ruth!
Such an elegant design. Love the quality and functionality. Thanks for the tour. Look forward to following you again.
Thanks so much! 😊
Great video -- so glad to peek inside -- wonderful!! Looking forward to the subsequent videos as always. Happy Travels!!
beth thank you!
I’ve had my Panoramic for almost two years now and I am still loving it!!! It is such a great design and SO easy to drive. I’m jealous of the new, quiet AC though. I’d love to upgrade that, as I often travel in warmer climates.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine! Safe travels!
Nancy there’s no better class b in the market! Have fun and safe travels!
Hi Neil! How good it is to see your face again! Thanks for the tour and I look forward to seeing more videos about your new RV, especially about the battery system you chose.
I wish you, your partner and your family a very Merry Christmas!
aww Renata thank you very much. i have missed you all. merry Christmas!
Nice layout. Congratulations on the new rig. Can’t wait to hear how it goes using all the features. Best wishes for a Happy Holiday and an Amazing New Year!
happy new year and thank you!
Neil thanks looks great, what a great design. They certainly pack a lot into a van.
Hope you and partner have a great Christmas and happy 2023
brian thank you so much! merry christmas to you!
So nice that there is great visibility both for enjoying surroundings and for driving safety.
Yes indeed!
Wonderful choice, with excellent video. Soooo glad to have you back again!!!
you are too kind. thank you
I love the versatility in this rig. that table dual functionality.
Love the table and the lounge. We spend a lot of time in the lounge and it is comfortable and versatile. Two people can work at it with the extension, you can kick you feet up on the cab seats or the bench seat and watch movies. It really is well thought out.
So nice to see you again. As always, a thorough well thought out tour.
Thank you kindly!
Congratulations on your new van, Neil. It looks beautiful in the black on black and the interior is gorgeous as always. We got our panoramic in May 2021 and have travelled from coast to coast in Canada and continue to love our van with really no mechanical issues whatsoever. We did upgrade our head unit to an Alpine 9 inch screen that allows us to have Apple CarPlay and Google maps etc. and that is a big improvement over the original Ram unit. Looks much like your 2022 chassis but we wish we had the newer steering wheel and upgraded safety features. We did go ahead and get the Rolef front and side window coverings and we are happy that we did. We can get them up and down in just a few minutes and they provide a more spacious interior. They store easily in the cupboard above the driver’s seat, which we call the “pizza oven”. As well they are a little insulated as you mentioned, and the side windows have screens in them so you can zip down the fabric part and leave the van window open to allow better ventilation in hot weather. Just an option for some of your viewers. We are sure you are going to love your van as much as we do. Next year we hope to make it to Newfoundland and perhaps the following year to the US West Coast to visit all of the fantastic seats down in your area. If you are ever travelling in Prince Edward County, Ontario be sure to look us up!
all great suggestions. thank you!
Wowowow panoramic is a step above clearly! Wonder if they will ever build on a transit.. hmm
Beautiful RV! Glad to see you back online.
many thanks allan!
EXCELLENT VIDEO 💪 LOVE ❤ the Panorama too !
aww thank you!
good to see you!
thank you benton!
Thanks for the walk through. The cabinetry really looks modern and functional. Like this floor plan much better than the Travato GL as it has a real bed large enough for two people plus a garage. Glad your back. 😊
My pleasure! thank you!
Congratulations. This have been a long time coming. Much success to this company. Their Rv is wonderful. Hopefully one day I can option a composting toilet, gray tank.
yes the industry needs a company like panoramic to up their quality game.
Very nice RV! Thanks for the was feedback on the lounge/bed, I was considering that type of unit also because I didn’t want a full time bed. But your right the sofa is very uncomfortable to sleep on long term. Once the RV craze doves under control, might go and get a Leisure RV.
you’re more than welcome! i want to help people get the right rv for their needs so i share my experience. i’ve owned 3 class b vans from 3 different manufacturers.
Good to see you back.
thank you sharon!
An excellent review of features. I appreciate your honnest comments about usage and relevence of some equipments, particularly about the Truma cooler/heater. It convinced me we should go with this option. Would have liked an evaluation of the wi-fi hub, understanding how it connects to network. In any case, thanks for taking the time of preparing such good reviews.
you’re welcome!
IMO this is the better looker cousin to the Pre-22 TravatoG
Fixing the 'bang-yer-hip' table, extending the gally, a window in the bathroom! Yes plz and a nice big bed!......they hit it out of the park on design quality and function
Best to you in your travels in the coming year
cathy, agree! yes and the build quality is so much higher. it is reprehensible how much winnebago charges now and while only standing by their product for a year.
Congards on the new Panoramic. I've been watching your channel since you left Quebec in your PW, heading towards CA, and then all the reviews of the other RVs. I'm the guy that suggested to you , follow up and check out Panoramic and Phillip.
hi ken! thank you and merry christmas!
Congrats! Love that van. Hope they offer power upgrades down the road. When we RV, propane is not wanted. 45 gallons of water and 10,000w hours are needed.
wow! that’s a ton of lithium!
Very nice unit. Enjoy it!
thank you!
Great looking rig!!! 😍
aww thank you JP. been with my channel a long time. thank you.
Thank you for the tour.. nice rig .. prefer my Plateau TS.. enjoy ..Happy New Year..🎉😊
plateau is a nice rig. enjoy!
The permanent bed makes the most sense in my opinion. Not only are you unlikely to convert it to a couch regularly, it would also make the garage harder to access if there were bench structures in the way.
When building out my van, making a permanent bed allowed it to be higher, making more storage space underneath. If it were a couch too, it would likely be lower.
nice! completely agree!
Great van, maybe just add that all the spotlights are mounted on a track that allows to move them any place you want, add extras and even add other 12 volts items.
good point! thank you for pointing that out.
Very nice van, enjoy your journey.🥂
Thank you! Will do!
Merry Christmas
❄❄✌🎅👍❄❄
Merry Christmas!
Now I like this one!
me too! best rv i’ve owned.
Been a long time! Happiest of holidays to you!
Happy holidays! thank you!
@@Ultramobility Happy Holidays to you as well. I don’t know if you recall, but I bought one of the first Interstate 19 and we did a small interview. Glad you are ok.
I love the Panoramic design and build, I have a Coachmen Beyond C floor plan (similar to the Pleasureway floorplan) and totally agree about not having a permanent bed. I actually removed the couch and added 2 permanent twin beds. That was a game change for me, especially when I travel with a second person. How do you like the Panoramic bed for two people? Is it hard to get in and out of? What I wish I had was the front lounge like the Panoramic. That is such a great functional space.
Congratulation for your wise choice! After having enjoyed very much our Pleasure Way for seven years, we took delivery of our Panoramic last July, and we totally agree with your comments. It is a well tought, designed and constructed RV. The owner of this company and his team are also incredible. They value above all quality of work and client service. Enjoy your toy now!
phil and panoramic are the best! quality on par or exceeds pleasureway.
Thanks Neil! You were the motivation for us to purchase a Panoramic! I think we got ours few days before yours. ^ ^
are you my neighbor?? they also purchased one lol
@@Ultramobility Really? Lol! We're located in Virginia. :-) Philippe dropped by our place in Dec and mentioned another new owner in CA.
that was probably me!
I would rally like this one !! YESSSSSS, really want this one !!! Maybe alittle bigger 📺
nice!
Luv the bathroom with a window
me too dee!
Wow, it looks so nice! Wondering if they will have pop up roof option in the future.
good question!
Merci!
Congrats Neil. I’ve been looking forward to this video for a while. I love the layout and all the convenient features. I think the 11K upgrade was money well spent.
My question is was there a no propane option?
i don’t believe there’s a no propane option. personally i like the option of being able to use propane. it’s very efficient and inexpensive and versatile. but when i can i use the all electric heating mode on the truma combi.
When you get to the review, I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on drivability, particularly how it compares with the MB chassis. what terrain would you take this on? How about parking? Regarding front curtains, do you find condensation on the windshield becomes an issue when overnighting? How about moisture on the window in the bathroom? Does the shower drain well?
please see my short on drivability of the new ram chassis. i wouldn’t take this too far off road. not made for it. not enough ground clearance. parking is super easy. fits in any space. moisture is not a problem unless it’s really cold out. condensation on windows but in the morning the heater clears it up.
Thank you for great info, specially on AC, I can't sleep with loud noisy
Glad to help! Please come and join my community at Ultramobility: www.ultramobility.co/ultramobility-community
Good to see you posting again and you have a beautiful van. Just wondering what the maximum amount of lithium that you can order? Even 630ah would only last about 5 1/2 hours in the south. You're lucky with those California temps...have fun with your new toy!
400ah.
thank you and merry christmas!
Congratulations on your new rig. It looks fabulous. Can you tell us where you purchased the soft windshield cover? I'm a little tired of our rigid version which came with our Pleasure Way. Thanks very much.
hi there Mark. it comes stock from Panoramic. You could probably order one from them. love the simplicity of mine.
Love your tour, how much does it cost the way you showed it here? And how does this Panoramic hold up in freezing temperatures, since it is from Quebec, i hope it is fully winterized !? Thanks for answering those 2 topics
I think an electric blanket is the way to go if you have power, however most blankets are energy suckers. If you look for the ones that have the “Safe and warm technology” they have a simple dial, auto off after 8 hrs and very thin wires that you can’t feel. They don’t get hot and cold spots because it inverts the AC power into 12v which is much safer and way more efficient on power. My daughter said her old electric blanket she used in her van sucked her power, but the new twin blanket I got her uses only a 1/4 of the power and is very comfortable heat. The king one we have for our house comes with duel controls. I had to type in “safe and warm technology” to find my daughter the twin, or you just get the others.
good tip thank you!
Glad to see you back and I love the Panoramic. Great rig! I can't find pricing anywhere, though. Can you give the price range for the Panoramic? Thanks
What’s the MSRP For a Panoramic Class B Campervan?
ua-cam.com/users/shortsimF0x7FuscI?feature=share
Never heard of this brand before? I have a Winnebago Solis PX. The interior layout is the same except I have extra storage at the back. The Panoramic is so much more luxurious and because I have the generator for the AC I have very little clearance. Might consider an upgrade to yours in a few years.
very cool. yes there is no generator on my panoramic. i opted for the large lithium battery package.
I like the manual seats for spinning them around. So much faster than the electronic.
really the new sprinter rotate electrically?
@Ultramobility They don't rotate electronically, but the adjustment forward and backward and the angle of the back is. So slow compared to manual adjustments 😴😴😴
oh got it. thank you.
Very nice tour and congratulations on the new RV!
The Truma A/C sounds like it’s a 12 VDC model, but I can only find info on 120 VAC models for the US. The Truma is of particular interest as ProAir, a major supplier of RV A/C’s filed for bankruptcy on Dec 8th.
i’ll have to double check. i thought it was a dc air conditioner. it is efficient and quiet. future tests during summer will reveal the truth!
my mistake it is not 12v. runs off inverter.
Thanks Neil for this walkthrough! Quick question: does it bother you to not have a separate bathroom sink, was that a big adjustment from your PleasureWay?
Congratulations your answer will be featured in a UA-cam Short! Be on the lookout!
The bathroom looks open and bright with the window and sliding door. I like the big window in the front lounge. Could you go over what choices are available in colors and options? Are there other floor plans available?
hi there. color options are on their site. i did a video where i go over my order sheet to show all the options
Interested. I now want to sell my van and buy exactly yours. I’ll be trying to find this video too. Beautiful. Everything I need and want
Can you please do a video of the back seat and your opinion on adding a car seat in that chair?
there is no latch system for a car seat unfortunately 😢
I would be really interested in your comparison between Panoramic and Pleasureway Plateau FL.
ok that’s a good one bc i love the fl!
Very Nice 👍
thank you!
I like a lot of what I saw on the video of the Paneramic. I would swap the space for the pantry with the closet that way I can put a couple suits and a long dress for my wife. The closet could have larger slide out drawers as a pantry like I have at home.
If the jump seats lumbar area would slide forward 6-8 inches like the Rialta and Hyundai Genesis doe on their back seat.
thanks for sharing your thoughts! there is a wardrobe closet and you can take out a shelf but it still may not be long enough for you. It’s in the galley.
@@Ultramobility I would convert the waldrobe closet into my pantry with slide out shelves like I have in my pantry at home.
I still have my Midwest Weekender MD4 and my suit is always squashed and my wife's dress is always wrinkled. The pantry in the PanoramicRV looks like a perfect fit. Like a built in garment bag.
BTW: Where have you been?
Welcome back!
Nice!
Thanks!
How difficult is getting out of the loft bed in the middle of the night? Also, how is warranty work performed with no dealerships. Great video Neil. Thanks so much.
Congratulations your question will be featured in a UA-cam short! Look for it soon!
Great video! I’ve been looking into the Panoramic RV for some time. Could you tell us the dimensions of the garage? Both with the bed down and when raised up? Couldn’t find it on their website. Thanks!
i’m not quite sure. I’ll see if they have it. please join my community if you haven’t. panoramic is a member and they answer questions. also I tend to now answer all my questions there. It’s FREE. You can sign up here: www.ultramobility.co/ultramobility-community
Hi Neil, Delighted to see you back at it again. Missed your vids. I'm in the early stages of being in the market for an RV for my birthday next May. I'd originally thought a PW OnTour 2.2 would be a fit because I don't want a diesel-otherwise, I'd lean toward their Plateau FL. Thing is, I H-A-T-E how the OnTour awning sticks out in the front. Looks sloppy to me. I'm a big fan of the ProMaster because of its lower, wider stance. Considered Airstream's Rangeline, but feel it's a little too entry-level for my taste, and have seen multiple negative reviews about the build quality. All roads, it seems, lead to the Panoramic. Love the look, the big windows, the cabinetry, the bathroom... But here's where my brakes come on with Panoramic: Their website is a hot mess. Let's start with basics: How much does it cost? There's no pricing I can find. What are the options? Is it all Lithium, or is there a generator option? The most recent video on their site is a year old, and the site's product images are two years old (e.g. six-drawer kitchen instead of three). Do they not sell in the US? It appears they don't. Would this be an international purchase? The PW site is clear and well organized: I can see pricing, options, etc. Can you point me to answers to any of these questions? Is there a reason their marketing isn't keeping up? I write for a living; this is a perfect example of what I tell my clients: a confused customer won't buy. Call me confused. Sorry for the rant. Thanks for your updates. Figured you might know where I could find the answers.
no a problem. you are right. i can help some. here is a video on all their options plus what i opted for:
ua-cam.com/video/ObWsV9Mdkrw/v-deo.html
base is around $130k and goes up to around $160k-$165k fully loaded
you can purchase in the us like i did. just call them and place your order and deposit. they will keep you informed of wheee you are in the build line. they are kind of like tesla in that they have a long wait period. maybe 12 months.
they will ship the van to you when it is completed.
@@Ultramobility What a nice guy for sending that. Thanks. Maybe I missed it, but it looks like Panoramic doesn't have a generator option. Does it charge while driving? Or, just off the Solar. What's been your experience with recharging? We live in Texas. So, chances are AC will matter and I'd like the option of being able to run off a generator.
that’s right, no genny option. yes, it uses the standard alternator and solar. i have not yet dropped below 65% on my battery level and i use my rig just like home. I’ll test AC this summer. it is a huge power draw.
@@Ultramobility It's a little odd. I got an almost immediate reply to a Contact Us form-not an automated reply. I sent back a question but have not received a reply. Going on faith based on your recommend that these guys are solid.
they better be! i just spent mucho bucks on a panoramic!
So beautiful! This layout checks a lot of boxes for me. Any dealers in the US yet? I don’t see on their website… (Chicagoland area 🙋🏼♀️)
not yet but you can call them up and get on their list. it is pretty simple.
What about the cheap window shades with strings, other wise very nice!!
not sure how expensive they are but they work and have never given me any problems during my year long test of the panoramic unlike the mid shades in my pleasureway. they were always breaking, falling down and needing adjustments
Thanks Neil! You sold me on the Panoramic. Do you have to wait for the build out or are there RVs ready to buy and take on the road? What Ram chassis is this built on? 150 , 250…? Great clean and well thought out van. Perfect for my needs!
How’s the road noise while driving? Thanks Again. What’s the price point on this and how many feet long is it?
He may have a cancelled order that you could swoop in and buy. You would need to call them at the number at their website and inquire. Otherwise the wait time is around 12 months. The Panoramic is built on the 3500 chassis. Road noise is good inside. If you get the all -terrain tires like I have expect some additional noise. It is around $175k and is 20’11” long.
Thanks for the tour. Interior height? I love our PW OnTour for the 6'5" inside. Also, can you sleep the long way, I'm 6'1.
6’3” interior. unfortunately you have to sleep laterally
what a great video. What is the outside length? I could not find the dimensions- thank you
20’11” just under 21 feet
It’s a beauty for sure! You can see the quality of workmanship throughout the entire rig. I was brought up on..buying the best quality available instead of skimping and having to buy it again..thus costing you headaches and spending twice as much. The garage area vertical space could be increased with a temp shelf..like rails. Instead of having to stack things. We always had Weber baby q stashed in our RV for those feel like a bbq for dinner moods. Envious for sure! The wait time is the drawback..not the cost! Very nice Neil..thanks for taking the time!
Does it still have the step to access the bed? For us vertically challenged adults?
@@cj9667 yes as of last year when we toured a model at the factory. It pulls out on the right side. I don't think that's changed.
yes it does!
QUESTION: Is there any modular RV that allows for more choices?--I'd like a bigger desk area and smaller twin bed.
you’re better off going custom build.
Humorous error: you said Pleasureway supplied the awning crank handle!
I want a Panoramic someday. Cheers
lol yes good catch. giving pleasureway a free plug
When you do your next video on this, can you show the drawers in the back and how much was lost due to the 4 batteries? I know there is no bottom drawer but what about the other two? On his video Phillip showed the inverter on the bottom but he never opened the 2 drawers. Thanks. Also I need to look into mods on the garage area to add some shelving to better organize everything.
I have a 2022 Panoramic with two batteries. There is no difference between two or four batteries in the usable space left in the back, i.e. two full drawers.
yes i will!
Neil you were the first UA-camr to place importance on the cargo capacity issue that most RV reviews or walk through just skim over. So what's the word on your van fully loaded with water etc? How much is left for food, clothing, bedding etc?
such a good question! mine is around 1400 lbs i believe. i’ll double check. it might be less. any less would be unfortunate. i’ll talk about occc in a future video. good suggestion
Great tour, thanks! Would be very interested in hearing owners' thoughts about whether a pair of bicycles might fit into the garage?
not sure it is high enough with the bed down.
@@Ultramobility thanks! Maybe with the front wheels off? Hope springs eternal, haha!
I believe the bed flips up and is held there with straps, so you can lock bikes in van when needed. Or carry small paddle craft like kayaks or paddleboards. I saw Phil demonstrate flipping the bed up in one of Panoramic's videos on their UA-cam channel. Neil will correct me if I am wrong.
The 'permanent' bed actually folds up should you need to haul things in back of van or with long items through the front passageway.
yes! forgot to show that. thank you!
I want a Benz 4x4 - nice van
yes 4x4 is nice. make sure you’ve got the ground clearance!
I like it but where's the refrigerator ,I'd like a t.v in the bdrm.
i show the refrigerator when i tour the galley. there is a second tv in the bedroom. it is a fire stick enabled tv.
QUESTION: How do you afford swapping out RV's?--Seems buying new is taking a big expense hit
yes. each time i’ve sold the previous van and then shelled out additional $$ out of pocket. this time it wasn’t so bad because i went from a mercedes to a promaster.
Never heard of the Panoramic until now, and I think this is the best layout I have seen. I can't find one thing I would change from yours other than I don't like propane but I understand why is needed . I went to their website looking for a price but could not find it and to the authorized dealers but they had not prices either. Any idea where I cold find the information? Thank you.
call them. they sell direct. mine was about $150k
Cool, thank you.
I assume the U.S. and Cali also charged taxes. Does that price include those costs?
Neil. Did you encounter any quality issues or need any repairs so far? If you do how can you repair it without a local dealer? I am debating between airstream rangeline and panoramic. The latter is so much nicer. But without a local dealer service may be difficult. Thanks.
congrats! your question will be featured in a youtube short. look out for it!
Neil, I noticed that the pantry now has openings in the back. Older model did not. Why the change, Is that so you can reach in from the bed and get stuff?
it’s a good question. i find it’s easier to tilt out taller items and also brings in more light.
My biggest issue with this camper is that I'm 6' and I found my feet up against the window when I laid down in one. I know it's 74" from side-to-side, but as we humans tend to like to use pillows, using one takes up some of that space...you're down lower on the bed...and your feet are then touching windows. I believe that the ProMaster has the widest interior - so this kinda stinks that I don't that I'll ever be able to get to take advantage of this layout that I'd like.
yes you’re right. it is 74” but taller folks need extra room unless you want your head and feet touching the windows. a different layout may work better for you.
@@Ultramobility As we like this layout, I'd be remiss if I didn't ask which you'd suggest we look at, instead, given your breadth of knowledge on the topic, please??
Good Evening, I have a question? Why you choose Panoramic RV. Thanks...
1) Quality 2) Layout They are the only manufacturer that makes this layout and has the highest quality.
Hi, Neil! Great video! I’m sold! I live in Long Beach, CA. Where can I see a Panoramic in person?
they have a new us facility in simi valley!
Thanks!
Are the cab seats heated? At my age I can’t imagine not having heated seats. Beautiful unit!
unfortunately not 🥶
Hey Neil, do you know why Ram doesn’t use dual rear wheels on their 3500 unit? I wonder what difference that makes in weights, etc.
I don’t know why. Perhaps because it’s front wheel drive? I don’t know. I had a dually Sprinter. I didn’t really understand the benefits of it when I owned it. My 144 inch wheelbase sprinter which wasn’t dual wheel in the rear handled just as well if not better but then again it is 3 feet shorter.
Why don’t you use leveling blocks?
never have needed them. just drive to a flatter area lol
Do you miss the multiplex integrated control panels? HVAC, tank, water, fans, lights etc all on touch screens? That was a big draw for the PW
I bought a PW Lexor in 2020 (thanks for the reviews) and I really like those panels.
Not really. Please see my short: ua-cam.com/users/shorts5xDDrn-m3ok?feature=share
@@Ultramobility
Thanks
What do you think of PWs current products?
@@ratman626 ummm i think most of their products are conservative and old. i reserve judgement on the Rekon. it looks interesting but candidly all these manufacturer built adventure 4x4 vehicles are kind of a joke in my opinion.
@@Ultramobility
The 2019 PW Lexor is my first RV. I’m generally very pleased. The bed has been down the entire time I’ve had it (since Apr 2020). I wish it was higher up so I could fit more in the back, maybe a folding bike.
I had a long time to work on it, and made many upgrades - LED headlights, high end stereo and navigation - the 10” Pioneer, magnets to hold the cabinet doors shut tight.
Without those, I’d definitely agree that it would be tired. I’ve put 15k miles on it with my road dog, who loves it so much he jumps in every time I open the door.
Thanks for the Class B 101 lessons on your channel.
You accidentally called the RV a Pleasur-Way @31:15 @31:50 lol
pleasureway should be happy lol
What’s the price? Black tank size ? Grey tank? Fresh tank?
around $150k; 16g/20g/35g
Build in chambly Quebec near my home
yep
Where can I buy this model?
panoramicrv.com
Tilt wheel?
nope
exteriror? in another video?
yes!
Where have you been ?Been a long time .
.
yes. i was recuperating from burnout. i think i’m ready to jump back in. tweaked format. i hope the new content is just as useful and entertaining. we’ll see!
Many class “B” Vans are wired by amateurs. Wiring is an art, both ends of every wire should be labeled and color coded. All holes should have a plastic protector around them. We called them “Gozintas”. The wiring should be neat, beautiful even, pride shows.
The videos detail an extremely well designed and fairly competitive price point, HOWEVER, we won't be buying a Panoramic. Delivery dates are over a year out and the "refundable" deposit is $25,000 for an order. Maybe the wait time could be something we could manage, but sending a company $25k to get in line - too many things can happen over the course of 15 months.
Yes, it’s a hefty deposit for sure.
What kind of toilet is that?
normal toilet with a holding tank. not sure of the make… dometic?
Like around $200k?
around $165k
Is this the 3rd Canadian made RV in a row? Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 😊
yup. you follow me well. Roadtrek, Pleasureway and now Panoramic. I just love Canada 🇨🇦!
