Correction: The Truma Combi does not have a glycol line running to the engine to use the engine heat to heat the water. I was thinking of my Roadtrek which had the Alde hydronic heating system which did do that. Carry on.
Neil, I love that you got the black. It’s so sharp looking and seeing it makes me aware of how tired I am of the ubiquitous white and silver vans. The build quality is amazing.
why thank you Tim. You’re very kind. Panoramic makes the best class b van in North America full stop. And, I video in 4k just for viewers like you who watch on giant home screens lol!
@@divyasangal1438 i was in hiatus for a couple years. burnt out. i’m back but my content will adapt and change. more vlogging. more about me and my rving and answering viewer questions.
@@Ultramobility It would be great if you could make a full-length video rather than a short; I'd love to hear all the reasons why you rate Panoramic the best. Also, I'd like to see a comparison of the Ram Promaster to the Sprinter and Ford Transit chassis.
Hi Neil, Am I right that you have your Panoramic on the market? Appreciate that this might be for personal reasons, and if that is the case, then that is entirely your own business. However, if it is because you have become dissatisfied with the Panoramic, I’m sure a lot of us would be interested in hearing/reading your comments in this regard. Especially those of us considering purchasing one in the future. Thank you and take care.
I've watched all of your tour videos of this van and I am quite impressed, overall, although I don't know the price, so I can't speak to value. I would definitely consider this van of it was built on the AWD Transit chassis and they figure out a better arrangement for that low hanging storage tank on the driver's side. It's hanging WAY too low.
Waiting for RAM to get on the job, and import the 4x4 version of the Ducato. I know it is sold on the European maket, not sure what our problem is. Looking forward the seeing the interior, the exterior is well appointed.
We have a Weboost cell booster. They recommend that the inside antenna be as far away from the outside as possible. When using the Weboost the best signal is withing a few inches of the inside antenna. If you put you phone next to it and turn on the Wi-Fi sharing of that phone then you can use other devices around the inside of the van. You can use a phone signal app to find the best signal we use "phone signal" for android. We did not mount ours permanently rather I have a 12 foot pole I mount to our rear ladder when the signal is needed. We find that if you can only text without the booster that you can stream tv with the booster. And if you get nothing without the booster then you can get texting with the booster. In a bad signal area where we want to sit outside I have longer cables for the indoor antenna so we can bring it outside to the picnic table.
Neil, I think you reversed the operation of the rear passenger (bed) windows. I think the front one (nearest the slider door) does not open and the other one does. This correct? Minor observation.
you’ll be right at the ceiling at 6’3” but there are few components which hang down. in the galley the cabinet may be in your way when cooking. i would check if the driver’s seat is comfortable for you. you would be sitting in the bathroom to shower as is mainly the case for class b vans.
I don’t think so. The coach is not made for off-roading and I think that the present clearance is more than adequate. What i mean by the coach is not made for off-roading is that the interior is not designed to be rugged.
neil. thank you so much for all your input and especially the insite you bring to the RV world. been following for years and really liked the panoramic since you first interviewed phillipe .... i could not order one then so went with a pleasureway assent... but met with phillipe and have ordered my panoramic and looking for a november delivery date my question is who did you contact in canada to sell your pleasureway. i only have 15,000 miles on a 2021.5 so hoping to be able to move it easily thanks for all you do...paul
awww thank you so much for letting me know. I’m glad I could be of some service. I also of course owned an Ascent and I think you will absolutely love moving up to a Panoramic! Talk to Phil. He may be able to help you find someone there who can sell your rig. If it’s registered in Canada it is possible. If it’s registered in the US it won’t be possible. Mine was still registered in Quebec.
@@panoramictravels thanks Steve, that really surprises me given these start as utility vans which would sit on parking lots as utility vehicles for tradespersons. I ordered a Mopar locking cap on Amazon.
ugh hate them. so big and overdone. I’ll likely remove them one day with a heat gun. yes that was a ding from transport. panoramic is getting it fixed for me!
GREAT video tour - thank you!! Was curious as to why you opted NOT to go for the macerator? One other question is - do you think getting Sumo Springs added might help with ground clearance?
i had a macerator on my road trek and didn’t like it. noisy and slow and just more to go wrong. gravity works all the time lol. I’m sure you can raise the chassis with springs or some other way.
Great detailed video, Neil! In your opinion, is the trade-off of going with a B class instead of B+ (easier maneuverability, lower gas consumption vs. more room (separate sink, dry bath)) worth it?
Very thorough review! 🤣Advertisement via proxy…you are the man! WORD! It is what it is..that’s a compliment. All your hard work with past reviews took a toll and led to “burnout”just smile, know and take good care of YOU! Life is too short.. Enjoy your rig!
Hi, Neil! Steve here from Panoramic Travels. I am enjoying your Pano videos! You refer to your Pano as a "2023". That's confusing to me because I got the first Pano (Harvey the RV) on a 2022 Model Year US Ram ProMaster chassis in September. So, it is clearly a 2022 Ram and the Panoramic company refers to it as a 2022 Pano (that's what it says on my Pano Owner's Manual and I think Philippe had told me that the Pano year is always the same as the chassis model year). I know to some extent this is just semantics, but it might make the difference of thousands of dollars when I sell my Panoramic as a 2022 (not a 2023).
most rv manufacturers introduce next years model year late in the previous year. i don’t believe ur really matters given the scarcity of panoramics. you’ll be fine if you ever want to resell it.
Shoot that’s too bad. That suuuuper low black tank is a deal breaker for me. We aren’t looking to do big off-roading.. but dang that’s REALLY low. We do go on some forest roads. I was heartbroken when I saw the tank. The van/ build is unreal.
@@Ultramobility Do you find that having a 2-wheel drive gets you to most places without trouble? I'm curious as to how folks manage without having AWD or 4x4. I say that because your rig has many features I like. It's a great little package, but how do I get around without the security of having more than two wheels powering me through the elements and various terrain? Thanks!

Wow! Virtually not much ground clearance with the black tank which will make it a no-go for me unless I pay to have the rig lifted.
yea that’s why i show the good and the bad lol
I think your videos are excellent in showcasing all aspects of the build. Thank you for doing that.
No AWD makes lift and all terrain tires sort of pointless imho
agree but it came with the black rhino rims which i wanted.
Hi Neil, I am 6’3” can I fit inside and be confortable? BTY. Nice job with your videos.
I’d say no unfortunately. you sleep width-wise and it can accommodate maybe someone 5’11 but no taller. at least not comfortably.

Is there a gas fill door release from inside the cab or is the only way to open it from the outside?
It can be opened by anyone on the outside. There is no door release lever in the cab.
