Hearing both Megumi's father's and Chris's statements to Rust absolutely broke me. My god what an awful waste of a human. And even though I can understand why they suspected Chris,the way they had tunnel vision on just him without even knowing what happened or whether she was even alive is just a nightmare. His statement was so hopeless and I just feel for him. I hope he is living a good life now and has been able to move forward.
Poor Chris. I can't imagine not only losing a loved one but also being vehemently accused of murdering them or being otherwise responsible for their death. I hope that he's been able to find some peace, if only a little. :(
