  • I like this font wing! The Axis PNG 1310 is stable, efficent, lots of lift & peaceful in flight. It takes a notable amount more force and more pre planning to roll the wing. Other than this variable, I am a fan of this wing for light wind.
In 15 mph of wind, it did great! I did not feel overpowered, just zen. If I am in the mood for going faster or logging more miles in 15 mph of wind, I can always go to my next size smaller the ART 1099.
I also got my first flying jibes left foot forward today! Super Stoked 😃
Let me know if you have and questions or would like me to try specific combos.
    Happy Flying!

Have you had a chance to compare the 1310 to the 1300 for light wind winging?

I have compaired the two but I did hear from multiple sorces is that the 1300 is overall better for light wind Wingfoiling as it is a bit faster and a bit more manuvrable. The 1310 should get to flight with a bit less wind but the overall trade off faivors the 1300. The 1310 is a fun wing for Wing Foiling and foot pump foiling. I also have not yet tryed a slippery downwind board for wingfoiling but I suspect the DW board will help me a bunch for getting to flight in light wind.
      Happy Shopping and Wingen!
... or you could go for the Axis ART Pro 1401!?! 😀

Hate to be that guy. But if you are winging and are under 100kg, the 1300 has nearly the same lift, more glide, and is faster. I don't know how the 1300 feels like it has the same lift, but that is my take on it. But then there is the new ART 1201 ... so that might be your happy place, especially on a flat lake. If you are flat pumping, maybe the 1310 serves two roles.

      Totally, thanks Jake.
I purchased the PNG 1310 mainly for flat water foot pump dock start foiling. Only two sessions on it and it has helped the distance I can pump. I have also heard the 1300 is better for light wind Wingfoiling vs the 1310. I am happy the 1310 is Totally Wing Foil Able, great with getting to flight in light wind and got me my first flying jibes. I want to keep my budget and loadout size in check so I probably will not purchase the 1300. The ART Pro 1201 could be a future purchase but my ART 1099 is working great for me.
Here is a link on my thoughts on the 1310 vs 1150 for dock starts.

Wonder if this wing is worth getting if I have the 1150/460 combo? Same mast and fuse as you. Wingfoiling all conditions.
    I'm 72kg but prefer "larger" foils. I'm considering downsizing to a 1050 hps/ 400 for higher winds.

Most larger front wings will get you flying in lighter wind and the PNG 1310 will get you flying in a bit less wind vs your 1150. The 1150 is so much more manuvarable / controllable for Wing / Dock / Wake foiling. Also, the new SUP downwind foil boards help medium sized foils get to flight in lighter wind so another option if getting to flight in lighter wind is something you are looking for. I will probably purchase one of these skinny / long foil boards. They are rated as more difficult to use so I will wait till my flying jibs, flying tacks and harness skills are down. Downwind foil board / 1310 / 7.0m Hand Wing should be epic on light wind days! For now I am happy with how little wind I need to get flying.
Some rate the PNG 1300 as top front wing for lightwind Wing Foiling as it is more manuvarable and a bit faster vs the 1310. I have figured out the anticipation to control the 1310 so I do not plan to get the 1300. Still a stiffer HM carbon mast, advanced fuselage and smaller wing will all help with control. The 1150 does not need these and if you make these three upgrades, your 1150 would be way more controllable / nibble vs the 1310.
I am glad I learned to foot pump dock star foil with the 1150. Two sessions ago I landed on the tip of the 1310 on my butt and it made a mark on me through my 4/3 wet suit. I am fine. This happened because of the longer span and the more difficult to control the roll. I am happy I purchased the 1310 for foot pump foiling for the extra glide and it is working well for Wing Foiling. There are other options to consider based on your other gear and what conditions your are going out in.
I think your weight of 72kg and getting the HPS 1050 is a nice upgrade if you also go bigger to the 1310 that is cool too, just depends on wind and control you are looking for. The 1150 is rated better for dock starts vs the 1300.
      Happy Flying!
