You have no idea how happy it makes a chronic packrat like me to hear that hoarding is an effective strategy for financial success in this game! It's pretty much what I end up doing anyway lol
Yup! Marvel’s Avengers will be the next game I cover when it comes out! Til then I’ll be dropping a “Preview and Thoughts” video on it this Thursday :)
You forgot to mention something as far as loot goes: Bags of Holding are your friends in this game (it's the only D&D game I've ever played that actually has those items). Search for those folks, buy those before you get anything else, & for the love of God DON'T sell them, accidentally or otherwise. When purchasing characters/mercs to fill the advisor roles for whatever reason, those purchased characters have a -3 to those rolls, since they're not story-based characters. They're great for adventuring though. They're also expensive folks, 2000 gp per level of your main character, yikes.
Thank you for adding that info! There is so much to this game it’s easy to miss something 😊. When it comes to purchasing characters/mercs to fill advisor roles I use them more as place holders til I get a better main story character to take over which I show in my newest video Part 4. However the Orc monk “Kain” I recreated after paying 18000 gold for him although crazy expensive 😱 I’m glad I was able to create him and power him up to a great monk fighter for my party 🦾.
That is the one downside to his game aside from the steep learning curve. For me this game on console has crashed on me at least 10 times since playing. Thank god for the auto save going off every time you enter/leave or setup camp in an area since the crashing for me happens a few times at the worst moments lol.
@@MulderGameChron man that's so lame I got through pillars of eternity 2 but, I must of ran into at least 40 crashes on PS4 pro. Not looking forward to that in another game. Trying cure this crpg itch
Hold on it’s worth your time tho man. The crashes happen once in awhile and not enough to where I lost interest in playing the game. Also like I said the game auto saves every time so when it did crash on me I lost nothing in the game when it came to progress. It’s up to you but honestly it’s worth it if you like crpg.
There’s quite a few minor bugs and glitches on Xbox version. I had a weird screeching sound glitch. Most annoying is an occasional unit glitch where they don’t finish their action, despite having ability. Cannot figure out why. Performance wise the game suffers from lag and stutter in big maps. Long load times as well. All that being said, I’m having a blast with this game! It’s up there with pillars of eternity and divinity sin
Tiny bit of advice or request: Could you talk a bit slower, please. I can follow you but only just. Since you might have some folks that aren't English native speakers (it so happens that I am one) they might turn away from the videos at a certain point. Because that would be a shame because you offer some interesting insights into the game and since the console version is relatively new there aren't that many videos out about it yet - things have probably changed and are unique to the console (especially how the game is refitted for game pad) and older videos are mostly about the PC version, I thought it would be wiser to look for videos focusing on the console edition even though the overall game is still the same.
Thank you for watching and your input! I'll be sure to slow down my speaking in future videos. Be sure to let me know how my next video sounds when I post it tomorrow on this game :)
@@MulderGameChron Thank you for considering my request because I have a big interest in the game and wanted to "educate" myself first 😁 abd yeah, sure, I let you know. 👍

I just realized I own this game from Humble already haha. Your videos are getting me really to install.
Bro livestream that game tonight! Tag it well since this game is hot right now. 😎
Thanks for the great pathfinder tips , i need all the info i can get!
Thank you!
BTW do you also plan on making Marvel's Avengers tips and tricks? I'm picking that game up too.

How have you found the performance? I’m reading that the game comes to a stand still sometimes and constant crashes with a corrupt files saves.

Probably going to wait for a patch or two.

I saw you sold the Taldan's Yellow Items. I suggest not doing that as they are used later in the game.
I have so many of them so I used them for example to sell but thank you for the input!
