Without a doubt probably the prettiest and most vocally suited to sing Lucia was Anna Moffo. Her Colouratura was right between lyrical and dramatic. A perfect Lucia. Great actress. Her high notes are stratospheric Olympic singing. Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw this wonderful film as a teenager and was very impressed by Anna Moffo .....She remains for me until today the best Lucia, I have ever seen and heard. ❤

Moffo’s voice carried well, but she did not have a huge voice, if you listened in person. It was lush and round, but not really that large. Callas? Large.

I saw her in concert. Gorgeous and huge voice. Recordings just don't get all of soprano voices. Mostly the edge, missing so much.
