Hey! This episode was meant to be out Sunday but my laptop blew up last week and couldn't get it out. Got everything back up and running now so figured I'd pop it up Wednesday arvo, hope you guys enjoy!
can confirm that was a brown snake tyler
@TylerThompson90 you should do an episode doing up your dads Isuzu a bit more capable, it’s the underdog car that follows you everywhere, it will make great content 😉
@@louisferdinand5776think it’s nice having a smaller car that’s capable to get thru the same stuff with a little bit of help he doesn’t struggle too much I don’t think
Good hump day bump 👌🏼
Gary and the MUX absolutely nailed this trip!! Great to see it hanging on with the big boys!
Garys a legend driving the mux, sure he needs a bit of a winch here n there but gets the job done with minimal fuss.
lol wheelin with Kistler and Sherry good luckkkkkkk 🤣
Great to see Gary and the MUX killing it too!
Good example of when to play it safe with running water.
Well done all round boys!
The Mux does well keeping up with the big dogs 👍
It's awesome to see Dad still getting a bit of a fish in here and there.. you need to up your game Burto. Lol.
Respect to Burto rockin the Shad Meister shirt too!
✌️
Appreciate how you list all tracks and spot you visit. Helps us plan out our own trips . Please keep doing this.
Will do when I can
Surely next build series is Gary’s new solid axle 4wd!! How cool
Trout tips. Fish them just below the rocks in the white water. They're just hanging out, waiting for the food to come to them. If they're there, you'll get one every cast😊 been a fun trip to watch, Tyler! Can't wait for the next episode❤
Thanks mate!
Mux gets the job done without any fuss.😊
Just goes to show you don't need big lifts and 37s.
Great ep Tyler! That’s definitely an eastern brown snake. Plenty of them out there!
Great vid mate.
Should consider Gary having a camera inside his MUX so as to see what he is thinking when driving up the areas the Patrols are.
It is a different driving style and would be interesting for others I presume
God's country for 4wdrivers! Great footage of what looked a fantastic trip. Much appreciated. Keep 'em coming!
Appreciate it mate!
That was a great edit at 12:58 👌🏼👌🏼
That MUX does better than I would have thought it. Great episode 👏.
Great work guys, Got to love what the Vic high country has to offer, and conditions can change very fast, How good are the Cascades, Camped there many times. One time I camped at that spot We had sun at the bottom then it snowed at the top, and the track use to be a real challenge back in the day. You mad the right move by not crossing the Macalister river mate, Its a notorious crossing also with a big rock to the right upstream.
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Enjoyed this episode immensely... good call on not crossing that river, would of been T.T floatation adventures..would of ended badly. Good stuff mate
Some insurance companies won’t payout if you decide to cross and get totalled.
Already know it’s gonna be a banger and it’s been out for under a minute
Awesome drone footage and editing
Thank you! 👍
Top episode Tyler, sick scenery. That was an eastern brown snake.
Thanks mate!
Magic out there.......
Thanks for the share 🤙👍
Love it mate! Thanks for another great video 🤙
Great work tyler and crew. 😊
Awesome filming as always Tyler... Such a beautiful place !!
Great filming and driving. Excellent to see the boys out (Gaz, Ky and yourself). Legends.
I remember doing a tyre on the way down Grimme's and having to find a semi flat spot to be able to change out to the spare... Worse still was it was only a few months old...😞
And that campsite just above Caledonia falls is awesome... Pretty sure you setup right where I had my tent !!
Always love your episodes guys. Thanks!
Thanks!
Been driving the 80 too long 😂 classic!!
Lovely country indeed!
Oh buy the way I forgot , Gary great driving with the MUX through some of those rocky bits 😎
Great video, thanks for sharing! 👏🏼
Thanks for watching!
Great vid. That scrably bit a kilometre in on Burgoynes is where a car went off just before Nye. A group of us came the other way and spotted it Nye. Glad they were ok. Water was just up to bonnet on my GQRB30 with 33s and 3 inch lift. Was a great drive
You do not need to flick the line too far. I find sometimes just a hook, swivel for a little weight or a split shot. Hook and worms.
Mate would love to see you guys go further with the Isuzu build! Even just an extra inch of lift, 33s and a front locker and I rekon it would climb up some pretty ridiculous stuff. I remember the front diff blew once or twice with the MUX in the past, going harrop front locker would completely eliminate that issue
Keep up the great work you guys do and Gary, he is a legend of a man. Great episode 👏 👌 👍
Thanks mate!
Bloody hell we are lucky to live in such a beautiful country. Love it up in the high country. Love the video. Can’t wait for next week 🤙🍻
Thanks mate!
Realy nice episode. I am jealous and live in a desert. Which I love, by the way. Dad did well !!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice video again Tyler, enjoyed this one.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Magic mate 🍻
Beautiful country there mate
Great episode...fantastic campsites!
Thanks!
Another great one with some good spots , hot tip don’t take the camper trailer into caladonia tk 😂😂🤦♂️. You guys have covered some awesome terrain in this series 👍.
Thanks mate! Shad the camper trailer mad man haha
Ky"s a great part of your team , good humour and great on the camera , keep up all your work guy's 😎. Did that fuel ⛽ say $257.5 per litre? That's just taking the piss , no way they have that much delivery tax? Pitty that would keep people that are struggling a bit away from the trip through the High Country!
Yeah fuel is more expensive out in the little mountains towns
If those little remote area towns couldn't make enough money to survive they would be gone so with all respect, just pay the fuel price & be thankful somebody is there where you can buy fuel at all.
Great episode Tyler and crew 👏
Cheers!
Amazing
Another cracking ep mate!
excellent Vid... love em
Thanks 👍
I reckon ya need to borrow ya old mans MUX one week and do a sneaky live axle front end, front locker and a set of tall skinny 33s....then give it back to him and let him drive rings around the old GQs. And if ya want another old school patrol to showcase on your channel one day, i have an old dual cab MQ patrol ute thats a bit...different.....
255/85R16 Yokohama GEOLANDAR G003 MT on 16x7 wheels 🤔🤓😉
Never disappoint mate 🤙🏻🏴
Thanks mate
me and my dad did this track about a month ago in a 80 series and we did a clutch bearing
Great video! Big fan of your channel
Awesome! Thank you!
Another good episode guys cant wait to watch next 1 with Daniel kistler cant beat that tb gq of his 🤙
Thanks mate!
the more I watch these nissans do nissan things, the more I feel I should park up the 200 series and build/abuse one like Tyle.......
Great episode guys.
Definitely have to get one!
good seeing gary and the mux out there, maybe and old man like me and a frightened mr triton might be able to do some of these tracks 😀 ps another cracking episode
Did deep Creek No4 the other day, that bit after the creek was definitely a bit narley, managed to drive it tho with a gq unlocked 33s haha
Once again fantastic scenery brilliant videos hey your Dad needs a GQ build even though his Isuzu does the business 👍👍
When the episode didn't come out on Sunday I thought you had tried to cross the McAllister......... jokes aside, that crossing was not safe that day. We've crossed it a few times but never like that.
No better place than vic high country thankyou...mic drop
Love a mid week vid
Another epic trip..u should consider a speedo for the ladies 😂 Burto commentating is a must 😂😂😂
go gary love that mux
Very nice one and fine to the limits 🤠👍
Right decision not to drive that huge river crossing: pretty sure that the depth and length was probably done able, you have driven deeper one at cape york but the strong flow/current from the fully side would have pushed the vehicles down from track on that slippery river stones underneath and cause a totally lost.
Man you are really living the dream 🤗 💯
Thanks 👍
Glad you changed your mind on that crossing yes you could walk but it was close to pushing you over...100% your vehicles would of been pushed till your foot wells filled weighing you back down....and then your probably way out of line for the exit 😉 the recovery if possible would of made great content though 😊 If you boys maybe hooked up the winch from second to lead 3rd to second crossing one at a time if keen maybe of been possible 😉 using the daisy chain method. If it's a fail at least your already hooked up ready for recovery and shouldn't of drifted far...
Isuzu Mux with 31" tires get the job done. It shows that you don't need spend alot of money to heavily modify and overbuild your 4x4 to go bush tracking. 👌💯
Lets go...
Just subscribed. Great vid!
I wish the mu-X in my country had the improvements the Australian one gets. All that power just to be parked in a mall :(
Thanks for the sub!
That dingo track i think the most steepest track I’ve driven so far. Not hard at all but by memory red clay would be bad in the wet
Definitely would be interesting in the wet!
Great video. The MUX goes OK. What's the rim and tyre sizes?
265/75/R16
If I had to guess what Gary does for work i would say a roofer 😅 lowkey ledgend. Great episode 👏
He's a plumber
@@TylerThompson90 that was my 2nd guess lol
Hey mate watching the vids every week now love them!!
Any chance you could tell me how the TDs go on your long trips and getting hot especially when your towing
Cheers 👍🏻
Cheers mate! Towing on a hot day on the highway in 5th gear with the air con going it can start to struggle, nothing crazy but temps can end up getting up to 100-105
This is starting to become Patrols are us with the odd appearance of a MUX. I really preferred when he still had the Nav And Patrol it gave a bit of variation. There is enough big lift and tyre patrol videos on UA-cam already.
stuff the 80 build, bring on the next driving video!!
King Brown Snake Tyler.
Always enjoy your video's Tyler. One question what scale paper maps do you use apart from gps
Have the HEMA high country paper maps
Are you going to build your dad A solid axle car in the future? So he no longer has to be a bobsled 😂 🤙🏻
Haha yeah its definitely on the cards!
105? modern-ish car so its similar to the zuzu, but far, far more capable and can swap parts between the cruisers?@@TylerThompson90
Looks like you all have alloy rims, do you get any damage from the Rocks
Nah never broken one, just some scratches on them
Where is 4wd suzuki Jimny?..try 😅... should be excited 😂
Thumbs up for jumping in rivers
Another great vid. Hey??? Which track is the steepest in VHC.... Billy Goats, Dingo track or Basalt Knob South... or which one do you nominate? Cheers, dd
Cheers mate! I would say deep creek 4 & Herne spur are a couple of the steepest ones I know.
How long before Kia can get his licence. You could get him an old car and start doing it up as a sub series. Can't wait to see Kia out, drive you. 😂😂. Would be good to see him pick his car
Haha few years yet
It might be time to build your dad a new capable rig so he can play harder. He will then be unstoppable
Tyler its Wednesday 😮
Was meant to be out Sunday but my laptop broke so couldn't get it finished, got everything back up and running so figured out put it this arvo!
Hahaha #goodcontent
18:50 where is it? Cheers
Nothing like a quick pull from Berto to start the day mate. 🤣🍆
I'll go rhythm
Was a brown snake. They're deadly, but not overly aggresive. Tiger snakes are absolute fuckwits, they'll chase the car.
Tiger snakes are crabby bastards hey. I've found them curled up around my shoes at the front door soaking up the sun and they have striked at the door. Keeps you on ya toes.
Bullshit browns arent aggressive, ive been charged by many a brown but never a tiger. Id say its the exact opposite.
@@damo.77 Yeah I'd say so. I've had browns look at me and then slowly go the other way.
Literally had Tigers chase my car.
@@jmac822 Yep. those bastards can get in the bin.
@damo.77 browns are fiesty definitely not aggressive like a tiger snake.
Wouldn’t it be total fire ban in Victoria?
It wouldn't
Where is the ‘chaos’? lol. Shout out to Kai for his contributions to the video coverage. He will have lots of camera expertise for his résumé’s. 👍🏻🙏🦘
