Tyler , I remember the vid you did saying to were going to go full time content creator and not teach any longer. A couple of years on and the results speak for themselves- informational, great locations, and the footage just keeps getting better! To boot, the laughs and people you introduce add to the mix positively. 10/10 mate and seriously some damn fantastic tracks and trips. These series videos are the best doing nice trips with the family off road unlike so many other channels that go to bloody Hipcamps or caravan parks with 20 other vans! Remoteness is what does it and having the lads along is a big tick - funny as ! The rabbit should become Australia’s new chicken - damn lovely and do not believe so many have not tried
As a kid i swam in the Paralanna hot springs in the 70,s theres nothing wrong with it and we went there in a 1974 Maza 929 car and a Crysler Centura no 4x4,s back then.
The Flinders Ranges are underrated imo , so many great tracks and scenery & tonnes of Aboriginal rock art. Big Morro Gorge water holes are my favourite as they were wiped from most maps which was a shame. Hope you get to go to the nearby Bendleby and Hungry Ranges, a must stay imo

Far farken out . . . That's simply breathtaking!! That brachina (pronounced brakinna) gorge area is amazing! I love the way you always pronounce names wrong . . . . Very refreshing 😜😁 Great work tylzz I will be exploring more up there real soon 👌👍😎 Been to arkaroola and then down to parachulna and did the glass gorge scenic drive which was very similar jaw dropping scenery but didn't go south from there. That river drive looks awesome!👍
Paralana Hot Springs was fenced off with Radioactive signage last time I was there in the late 90’s , I used to go shooting around there in the early 80’s , some of the nicest looking orange coloured rabbits back then. The signs stated radioactive radon gas is dangerous
Another good one, Tyler. Considering the amount of hard-wheeling your ol' man does with you, I'm surprised the OEM plastic rear bumper bar of his 4WD is still in tacked. The Isuzu MU-X continues to impress. 👍👍
We took a factory spec alloytec manual Holden Rodeo through this Echo Camp backtrack easily without getting stuck once. It's more the dodgy angles while looking down a cliff face that makes it a little scary especially if your scared of heights. The direction they take you is pretty much all downhill and therefore easy as far as the obstacles go. It would be a triple black diamond extreme track if you could do it in reverse. Potentially impossible. Good views, though. The guy at reception said a few people sometimes can't continue and they have to get others to drive them out as they freeze with fear on this Echo Camp track. I found the other tracks around Arkaroola, which were pretty much 2WD. I wouldn't visit Arkaroola more than once. But it's still worth doing once. 👍
Roast Rabbit with veg awesome bush cook up I wish I was there Flinders is great but Bendleby is friggin awesome you will be blown away by the tracks my son and I had 8 nights there we did all the tracks Hungry Ranges the best lots of camp ovens beer and bullshit you are going to have a ball cheers legends ☺️
Well now I want to see a hands on heads group photo. I'll keep a eye on Instagram.... We done Flinders Ranges about a year ago and it was amazing. Like you would love to see it after some rain. 🙆♂️🙆♀️🙆
If you knocked me out and flew me here from the States, I don't know if, when I woke up, I would be able to tell the difference between the Flinders and southern Colorado. Hot springs and all. I would feel like I was still home. It looks like home😊
I know exactly what you mean. When I see some remote 4WD tracks in the US, I often think to myself that it looks so similar to parts of our country (AUS).
The way the rabbit was cooked is not the best way to enjoy this delicious meat. Just frying it like that makes it dry and tough. Needs to be slow braised with bacon and stuff to make it tender and delicious. Not surprised the newly christened meat eaters found it a bit hard to like :)
I scrolled through before committing to watching & I had hope until I hit 26:21. If you're gunna insist on having him as your mechanic, keep him off camera. I've followed you for years man but he is so obnoxious I won't watch anything he appears in. I know it won't make a difference to you but if he's in, I'm out.
@@menglandau When you have run a channel, let me know. Loving this series.
Shaun and Burto need their own comedy adverture channel

well done Tyler and the crew - love watching your adventures
Burto and Shauno are my favourites on UA-cam.
Trip of a lifetime. Well done great insight for people who have been talking about it.
I like that this video shows amazing places to visit without doing hard 4WDing. I would take my new ute here and enjoy the outdoors.

Your trip gets better and better 😃 Great family trip, love it❤
That Herbie may is good stuff as well. That rabbit look good.
Great memories for Gary and the grandchildren right there mate, makes me want to do these locations again just seeing the drone footage. 👌
Yeah the 4J,Goodyear tyres getting a workout, would love a set for mine
can't believe there was so many people in one spot that hadn't eaten rabbit before. crumbed and fried rabbit is my favourite way to have it.
Hi mate. Was great meeting you at Arkaroola. Thanks for taking the time to chat with me.
No problem mate!
Another great episode. Love your work mate.

Nice one mate. Look forward to seeing you at our favourite place Bendleby Ranges!
Thanks mate!

Its definitely taken a beating haha, cracked and damaged in a few spots but still holding on
Good to see he has perfected the flint hahaha
Got there eventually haha
I watch all your content always learning!. I’d like to do this trip one day.

Sad to see the Isuzu go.
Looking forward to the next one 🕶🤙👍
Love were i come from Scotland 🏴 but if i could live somewhere else Oz would be my choice for sure 🤙🏻🏴🏴
Looks like a great place to stay and some equally fantastic tracks to explore. 👍

Great video Tyler
Awesome work guys !!
Where would U recommend setting up base Camp in the Flinders ranges. Planning to head winter 2024
I know it probably seems dry out there but it’s definitely not dry for that area. The last few years it’s the greenest it’s been in ages 😂
That blue tongue lizard looks like the the OP2 when it's packed up!
Should have called it the Opus blue toung
Shingleback
Well if you want to generalise that much why not just call it a reptile 🤷♂
@philmenzies2477
Give it up champ. Calling a blue tongue a blue tongue isn't a generalisation it's a fact! Thank for your thoughts!
Awesome trip Tyler!!!!!!
Cheers!
Legends..
What type of drone do you use? ❤
DJI mavic air 2s
Thanks brother
Damn those flies! You guys need to get an insect repellent sponser ASAP
surely!
I'm a hunter myself and I can smell that rabbit from here. Yum!!
Awesome.
"Aroona was like a retirement village" 🤣🤣🤣
Your old man gone up in my estimation he can cook rabbit for me anytime 👍👍👍
Flinders share best place in Australia with the Gibb river road in my opinion.
Kai was like" I bought that to my school camp and played spotlight with it" But no reaction whatsoever from Demi😂
Great Vid....
would luv to enter the comp but dont have insta 😪😪😪😪
1:54 I will be right because I can read it, it isn't backwards.
Great channel would be better if the two in the green GQ were left at home though, I know GQ's are a big 4wd but I've never heard so many echoes.
Great vid, I dont mind an ad every now and the, but every 2 minutes is a bit painful.

I agree. I learnt to four wheel drive in the Flinders and every time I see trips in Colorado (mainly on TFL) it reminds me of this.
Flint and Striker? Hold the Striker still and move the Flint over it - hand control is much better. Demi might agree with better hand control.
What does the rabbit taste like?
A cross between kangaroo and koala 🐨 😂
@@mikeluke4032more like a cross between Koala and Quokka imo
I'll go rhythm
Cross between chicken and blue eyed cod hahahahahaahahahahahahahah

rabbits good chopped up into bite size bits and fried in butter with a bit of garlic or chuck it in a stir fry
