Ah, so London Fog is the same strain as London Ale III (Wyeast 1318) then? I was wondering about that, but the alleged difference in flocculation and attenuation suggested otherwise.
So they have a 5 head filler for their canning line. Do you know if they have done any DO2 tests on their cans? Particularly their 1st and 5th can filled. It would be interesting to see the difference in DO2. I loved the video thanks. Interesting to see the Citra pop out a bit more in one and Nelson the other.
They didn't mention what sort of testing they've done on DO levels. We opened our last can a couple weeks ago. Not pristine, but seemed to have held up about as well as expected.
We taste all of our beers during fermentation. We generally don't have two batches of the same beer fermenting at the same time though. So it would have to be a comparison of two different beers.
Less weight of a can versus glass means more economical /green to ship people are more likely to recycle a can rather than glass also glass is a big problem with the idiot factor ie smashing them in public places and storage is superior . The debate whether production of aluminium over glass outcome of what is better for the planet one has to factor in the variables . I prefer cans and purchase my beer accordingly.
Energy cost to produce and recycle cans are way higher than glass bottles, which can be refilled. People are more likely to recycle, depends on how people get educated in recycling etc. and the only thing that "has to factor in the variables" is the shipping cost of cans and glas, pls inform yourself before posting something....
Benjamin Hartmann read what I said first before posting your rude reply , glass bottles don’t realistically get refilled 330 , 345 or 500 mill bottles don’t get refilled not on the planet I live on , go do your homework idiot .

We'll keep upping production, but currently we're just keeping up with the taproom, with a little for the occasional fest or tap takeover.
