Here's an #universal display from @Carpuride, designed to bring modern solutions to older and simpler vehicles. I've retrofitted and tested this device in 2009 Fiat Punto with standard 1-DIN radio. It's attached to windscreen, connected to cars stereo with FM transmitter, paired wirelessly with an iPhone, and ready to go.

I choose Roadtop over this because you can have the sound goes straight to your car speakers via your car Bluetooth rather than using Aux/FM/device speaker.

Isn't it able to transmit sound via Bluetooth as well? Maybe calls can use BT and car's microphones too?

I received my unit tonight and was gobsmacked at how easily it hooked up, paired and was ready to go. One question: the suction cup windshield mount has a very sticky adhesive, protected by a thin piece of plastic. Once you peel that protective plastic off and stick this thing to your windshield, I can't believe it will ever come off, with or without flipping the suction lever. Isn't this type of suction cup mount meant to easily stick on and remove?
I have taken the cup on and off my windshield and even dashboard without any problems it sticks really well and it has not come off all the time I used it ... 👍🇬🇧

buying a new headunit would be the best long term solution for me and you can upgrade the speakers too if it can support higher wattage speaker if it has a built in amp.
Looks like a great device, however, i don't seem to understand how the device actually connects to the car radio. Say i want to play music from Spotify, how does it work???
