These are great! I saw an interview where Daryl Hall said that when he was first starting out he would do the "pant like a dog" exercise too. If I remember correctly, his mom was a pro singer who taught him to do it.

When we do push down and out while exhale do we do it gradually as long the phrase is? or do it when every note rising? and how hard do we push it?

so here a couple of questions:
When your larynx is lowered, does this mean that the soft palate raises?
When your larynx goes up, does that mean thar the soft palate lowers?
They are separate functions.
That being said, singing with a high larynx and/or twang can be mistaken for a nasal sound.
Are there any rules as such on which consonants to verbalize and which ones to drop, so the phrasing sounds smoothe while singing?
