Hi John - just double checking. I have the original FM patches (back in 2015 I bought your complete catalogue). Is this a totally new interation? Or will the originals have a Unify component added to them (BTW I'm fine either way- huge supporter of your work, even if I rarely make it live to the videos :) ).
I'll contact you directly - as you do say that the originals have been updated.....but I don't think mine have (They are nested in the Bundle from 2015). Really excited to be getting FM8 VST 3 into Unify.
For most the things that really define a synth are the patches it comes with. So there isn't any way to load those without reprogramming them - a daunting task that I'm not interested in doing.... but if you want to.... :D
The version I already had installed didn't have the bonus patches. do I need to redownload? (I have the native instruments bundle that I bought a license for.) Thanks as always for everything you do for the community.
@@PeterJoslynHarris - Hi Peter - yes this is a totally new version using the VST3 version of FM8. So you'll need to make sure you have that format of the plug-in known to Unify. We did this because of NI's update where did DID make the VST3 version compatible with Apples new computers but they did NOT make the VST2 version compatible, it is not Universal. The FM8 Power Pack has both the original Unified version and the new Unified version :D

I did wonder you did not react with a special…
I didn’t know at first and then I was working hard to make Unified versions of all 150 patches and make 20 additional patches. :D

I reinstalled both and rescanned but I'm still not seeing any of the bonus patches.
