      Repent of sin and Trust in Jesus!
      John 14:6
      6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
      Matthew 7:13-23
      13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
      14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
      15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
      16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
      17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
      18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
      19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
      20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
      21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
      22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
      23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
      John 3:16-21
      16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
      17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
      18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
      19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
      20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
      21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

    Awesome idea, Evans. Juuuuust might have serviced the brakes, saved some money on that and taking a look at the setting and servicing the fork might have done more for the armpump than carbon bars :D Love the idea of the series, just my two cents is showing to people that with less money and better servicing they can get great results.

    I used to have a 2020 Spectral AL5. I agree that the external cable routing is a pain in the ass to deal with. I also thought it would make dealing with cables easier but the cables don't stay in and it's hard to line the plastic panels up right. It's too bad that barely anyone makes bikes with external routing, it just makes working on bikes so much easier and I like the way the cables look on a frame, it makes a mtb resemble military hardware.
    Guerilla Gravity has a similar system and I really hope it's easier to work with than what Canyon tried.

      He probably has a good job and he got the bike that he wanted. Just so happened that he was kind enough to share the process with the rest of us! *insert dentist joke here*

    Helping a person with “trashed” bike that’s worth a couple grand and is a very good bike brand instead of actually helping someone with a actual trash bike

    I have the same bike and so far all I have done was brake pads and suspension and brake services. I think I'm clearly not as hard on the bike as him, but I also have rubber caps on my cranks which I think he could have benefitted from also. I also have ergon grips I just haven't bothered to put them on yet.

    One of the biggest things for arm pump is proper fork set up - correct air pressure, correct tuning and the right amount of volume spacers will go a long way. Even without a full fork service, just cleaning and lubricating the stanchions and seals would help tons.

    • @EvansMTBSaga
      @EvansMTBSaga  2 роки тому +1

      Do you have a recommendation on stanchion lubrication?

    • @ValentineState
      @ValentineState 2 роки тому

      @@EvansMTBSaga yes actually I’ve used WPL Forkboost lube. It’s not too expensive and it actually pulls dirt and dust from the inside of the seals. Highly recommend getting some!

      Sure!
      Maybe make some how-to videos covering all the procedures and maintenance you normally show in the vids! you make it look so easy, could be a great avenue for your channel, super helpful as well.
      Side note: Super stoked to see your channel grow as I grew up in phoenix myself!
