It looks like he had an absolute blast on that bike. I'm very happy for him. Polygon has done a lot for helping people get out and ride without breaking the bank. Looking back I wish I would have started with them but I was new and had no idea who they were. I don't regret the bike I have, but it would be cool to have a poly to ride and test out. Grats on his new bike!
I'd never heard of Polygon until I was searching for a Specialized and Marin last year. Thank goodness they were in short supply and I'd watched a few UA-cam videos which brought Polygon to my attention. I got the 2021 Xtrada 7 and I absolutely love it.
Same bro. With the money I had during the pandemic (May 2020), I would have bought an entry level Siskiu and slowly upgraded it over time. I then bought a Schwinn S29, and still own it.

I did the same thing with my T8's rims... The literature says you need to tape them... They show up taped already. 👍 The only thing I'm not loving on my T8 is the brakes. They're just a bit too loose feeling. Strange, because my Marlin 5 had Tektro brakes as well that are rock solid.

Hell yeah! I've got a 21' T7 as my first full squish and I love it. The only thing I'd change is a smaller crank gear. There's crazy hills out here in PNW land and i'd like a little more "bail out" in my bail out gear. Other than that, it's a great intermediate bike that I'll likely never outgrow, AND it looks rad. I went with yellow petals though. Gotta swap my yellow grips for blue ones to match.
That sounds like an awesome color combo! Swapping your crank sprocket is easy you should try it out!
BMX is a amazing way to learn and stuff I started on a BMX and I was already riding double black trails within 2 months now I’m a year into riding and sending it

I really think Polygon is the best bang-for-the-buck out there. My friend wanted to get into mountain biking and this is the exact bike I recommended for him. He loves it. What trail is that you're riding?

I love polygon bikes, they're built like tanks. Plus the official store is really near my house. Even if they sometimes don't have the things I need and I have to go to the other bike shop.
My suspension is at 20% sag though. Low clearance on the Colossus.
That trail looks so fun. I hardly ride on trails because it's all mud here.

@@mudkayak6305 yes! The XL feels great. I didn't feel like it was a reach or cramped. I don't have much experience on other bikes but this one feels just right

@@eugene44569 I think because in BMX we are used to long top tubes. My favorite BMX bike had a 22" top tube, which is pretty roomy

Nice, That is a beast of a bike shame in Europe they are still out of stock on M with 29ers. My friend has a T8 but the T7 has such a nice colour scheme.
Polygon do some interesting colour schemes. I've got the 2021 Xtrada 7. It's the yellow head with fading green. Every week just going to work I get at least 2 shouts from somebody saying they like the bike.

Love this channel. I'm definitely aiming for the T7 or T8. You can't beat the spec at those price points.
T8 definitly because of Fox 34 fork and SLX...on 140mm of travel is better to have thicker stantions
@@kxf2610 - that's an excellent suggestion, thanks. I'd not thought of the increase in travel. (as I'm on a 120mm HT at the moment) That alone will push my decision over to save more for the T8.
It's nearly tax return time here in Australia, so fingers crossed I can stretch to the T8!! 🤣
Wish I could get a full suspension. I quit riding because my back is screwedcand I think suspension would help.
The problem I'm having is I can't afford gas to even get Toba trail with my hardtail or any other bike. 😂. So it sits and looks pretty. Awesome of them to do!

I love my polygon premier 5 no issues with it
I had a N9. It was great for a downhill bomber. It also weighed 40 pounds. Which made it not great climber. The only thing that really bugged me was the bottom bracket was lock tighted in. I tried to upgrade it and that was the end of that frame.
Hey evan, I need some help I am trying to install my new air fork and when I was getting measurements for cutting the bottom where the crown race is there was a gap. Not sure if it coz haven't installed yet, seal and bearing wrongly ordered or something else. Is there a way u can help plz?
