- I wanted to own and experience my own slice of Middle Earth with a unique Aquascape inspired by a mystical hobbit hole/house. Watching my female bettas explore these enchanting hideaways are an other-worldly retreat from everyday life where you can pretend you are residing in the Shires with them, even just for a short while!
I am reusing plants and hardscape from Bettopia II as a cost saving exercise. This has taught me to be creative and thought of using grass seeds to grow my first seed carpet. Below is what you need to recreate this aquascape...
NOTE: Hobbit-looking bettas essential to complete The Shire.

@@AquascapeArtVideos cheers for the links. Im already set up now and have my guy in a 125L tank running on a fluval 107, best flow i could have asked for. And holds a peace lily quite haphazardly in place. XD. Although also have a new baby beta who will need a bigger tank in a few months. Will still watch the links. Im keen to see what the tank looks like now.
What if you put a fogging machine in the tank for the dry start method..?

Wohooo seeds.. I don't know those were seeds. Do update progress. Because most of the time they are just stems and grow like weed🙄. It'll be nice if it stayed compact.
Yes i will do - first time I used it too! But yes they are continually growing...
Can you put three betta fish together?
this was my sorority tank and I kept 5 females in there at the time

@@elitephantom9690 hey no you cannot, males are always kept in solitary as they are extremely aggresive and territorial
