- Captain ARC-77 "Fordo" and Jedi Master Yoda defending Sector 4 during the Battle of Coruscant, as depicted in Star Wars: Clone Wars.
Captain Fordo was the leader of Obi-Wan Kenobi's personal ARC Trooper unit (Advanced Recon Commandos) within General Anakin Skywalker's 501st Battalion during The Clone Wars and later under Darth Vader during the formation of The Galactic Empire.
While the 501st was on the Outer Rim, General Kenobi had ordered Fordo to take a squad to the planet Hypori to rescue seven Jedi & Padawan who had been pinned down by General Grievous & a battalion of B2 Super Battle Droids in the ruins of a crashed star destroyer (the Separatist military leader's first appearance). By the time Fordo's team arrived, Grievous had already slain Padawans, Tarr Seirr & Sha'a Gi as well as Master Daakman Barrek, with Jedi Masters Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi, K'Kruhk & Shaak Ti seriously injured. The event led the Jedi to dub Grievous "The Butcher of Hypori".
Despite orders from General Ki-Adi-Mundi to pursue Grievous, Fordo insisted they egress lest the wounded die. Upon returning the injured to Coruscant for medical treatment, Fordo was awarded but refused the Chancellor's Service Medal, instead asking it be awarded posthumously to CT-43/002 (the only Trooper he'd lost in the Battle of Muunilinst). While it was believed Master K'Kruhk had died, he had in fact only entered a deep healing trance.
The CIS attacked the city before the Captain could rejoin his Battalion and in the confusion he took command of the Coruscant Guard & other forces in Defense Sector 4. Upon being overrun, Fordo was reinforced by Master Yoda riding a Kybuck (and later Mace Windu, the two covering Fordo's left flank).
I've received many requests on my previous video's comments for this (Full Battle of Coruscant - Star Wars). So here y'all go! I think I'll start making clips of all the most epic moments from this terribly underappreciated mini-series.
Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars mini-series fills in the gaps between Episodes II & III while leading directly to the opening scene of III. The miniseries was canon (until officially overwritten by Star Wars: THE Clone Wars full series/movie), with storyboard approval from George Lucas himself. Star Wars: Clone Wars is now considered Legends.

I love how the later Clone Wars show gave the clones so much character and heart - but this show gives them some of the most badass scenes in the entire franchise.

@@Door227yeah I feel like they the 2003 one is a more accurate representation of what the clone wars would have been like and 2008 leaned more towards the horrors and emotional trauma of war. Personally I prefer the 2008 one because of the sick armor designs. Though I’ve got to admit Fordo and the other arc troopers in the 2003 show were awesome
@@drguineapig8755 The arc troopers in the OG show were what they SHOULD be; clones with fewer alterations of Jango's DNA. They're meant to be more free-thinking, relying on Jango's natural instincts as a warrior, which also made them unsuitable to serve as battalion units.
In the new show, it was simply a "ranking", which was lame.
@@nahor88 I mean to be fair it wasn’t a ranking that was just given out often. I do kind of wish we could’ve seen how Jessie earned the rank though. Though I do see your point as well. I think both series had their merits but they obviously had different visions of what the clone wars was.
This version of the clone wars actually feels like a fucking war which is what 2008 SEVERELY lacked.

For real! Usually, I get matched with bad peeps, and while it's co-op only (for the multiplayer part), I still have to carry my team! And then they keep dying!

But arc troopers were given independent thoughts. Inhibitor chips is just a dumb retcon.
@Commando Droid i would disagree some arc troopers felt regret after they executed order 66. plus some didn't go with the plan and refused to executed it.
@Commando Droid which is stupid because almost half of the clone army can just resigned after order 66. at least with legends they had little to no free will and just blindly obey the order because thats what there breed for.
@Commando Droid no, regular clone troopers had little to no free will. Arc troopers had kept independent thought, in legends of course. the inhibitor chip really only does is to kill Jedi in their presence. if there is no Jedi, the chip is utterly useless. and since palatine got rid of clones in favour for humans, clones have every reason to against the empire. episode 2 clearly states that clones (ordinary) obey order without question. I personally see clones no different from droids except of course for arc troopers and clone commandos.
@Commando Droid like I said before it retcons episode 2. I've seen the clone wars (really bad continuity) 2008. Inhibitor chips just cheapens the plot and doesn't make it as sad, just lazy writing. Plus the clone wars had an episode where a clones commits treason making the chips redundant if it was ment to keep them from disobeying orders. Plus in episode 3 palpatine would of just pressed a button to excute order 66 rather than communicate with every high ranking clones.

This is what makes Frodo stand out in the cartoon, rather than just give up when it seems hopeless he just grits his teeth and takes on what ever he is up against time and time again. It the reason he’s an arc trooper and achieved goals that most would seems impossible to achieve. But to him it’s not impossible only improbable and it doesn’t matter if its stubbornness or sheer willpower he will see it through even if it kills him.

How to sum up battlefront 2 in a nutshell. Having to carry your team since they are not doing anything. Than get a hero and alone take charge and hold the enemy team while playing the objective lol

I am not the only one who feels the same way about this being a noble player giving cover fire so allies can pass go to their positions or holding back the enemy so we can get the objective done until we get overrun by enemies as the noble ones got no further assist.. well hats off to those who are tactical and going for the objective getting the job done most time the players on top are also the objective players getting the scores and kills

Then clearly avoiding the area where everyone is fighting or stuck in a stalemate so you can sneak behind enemy lines, attack them thus them getting distracted but then get gunned down by my team on the other end lol. @@garmenlin5990 yes the average blaster has to be loaded with tibana gas cartridges and power cells. The power cells don’t need to be reloaded and only powers the gun but the gas cartridge contains 500 shots before needing to reload
