Captain Keeli didn't last long in his final stand, but he stood as an equal to a Jedi. Definitely worthy of mention.

Both fought and died well. I really think even someone as sociopathic as grevious would see them as having been worth a warrior's death due to it so there's that.
He and the Jedi were god damned heroes
The clones were 100 times as superior to stormtroopers. The Empire choosing the cheaper alternative over the more effective one is totally accurate to real life governments.
(I agree, if only they found boba, jango's "unaltered" clone son)
The reason why the empire used conscripted soldiers rather then clones was for two main reasons, 1. The cost of cloning had put the republic in massive debt due to how expensive just one single clone is, 2. The gen 1s like rex and cody was more like django then the clones that we saw in bad batch, the jango DNA was nearly depleted.

That, and the fact that the empire probably spent more on storm troopers anyways makes it even more accurate

Clones leaded by boba fett staged a rebellion against the empire and almost won but had to be put down brutally. In the end the empire decided clones were not the best alternative and switched back to stormtroopers

Captain Keeli is probably a great representation of how loyal the clones were to their Jedi generals. Without their programing the clones would've likely died by the Jedi's side than shoot them in the back. To bad the Sith be up to Sith things
A true leader who will fight alongside and die for his men inspires that loyalty all his men knew they were going to die yet they went down fighting to the bitter end
That's why I prefer the chip version than the legend's one, even if the latter raises some really interresting questions about brainwashing and ethics in our own world
@@blebler3009 Well I mean legends isn't impossible tbf. After all they did have the clones under the Kaminoans eyes from birth to death, and were likely very malleable as they were training and growing since clones were basically engineered to serve. Just leaves a larger margin for error on the clones part when Order 66 would be given since their experiences could out weigh their indoctrination. I always liked how clones like Cody who would follow Order 66 would essentially be choosing to kill their past, (The Jedi), despite the fact that choice's answer would be preemptively drilled into their brains from birth. Making it seem up to the clones boi themselves even though it really was chosen for them. The illusion of control ig you could say. Captain Tex fighting the chip to let Ahsoka know of the chips tho was chad ngl. As expected of the best XD.

And a lot of 'woke' clones too would have followed, since there were also the brainwash/endoctrinement like you say
But many commandoes, arc troopers and so would have ended up smelling the bantha's poop under the imperial scarlet sheets (like the Clan Skirata did (I really wish it was'nt retcon, I really want people to know about them t.t)
Then come the 501st (obviously the one we see in The Clone Wars, not the old Battlefront version) which was very independant, and had been trough Umbara's events, they had heard Fives' speech about what is being a good soldier and what is being an unbrained sheep, and eventually they had to make the choice of arrest then execute their Jedi officer
(what, in the legend, would have been called an Order 66 Imo)
They would have probably given some problems to the Empire, likely the 332nd being so close to Asohka would have ended up listening Rex for legal reasons (she's not a jedi)
And Aayla Secura's/Bly's troops probably wouldn't have obey, like a few others squads that were deeply attached to theirs generals
Then on the opposite side, lots of clones were delusional about the Republic, about the Jedi Order and about their own purpose, lots of clones were as cynical as Alpha17 or Neyo
These ones would have killed jedis whithout questions too, but unlike Bacara who believed the jedis were traitors, Neyo had no fkng clue about the reasons, knowing it couldn't be so black and white,and did it because that's how life goes

@@blebler3009 Indeed. Might have even left some interesting echos of the Clone Wars. Like mb even have a Clones loyal to the Republic being purged by the Empire aside from a gradual replacement of the clones we see.

He survived so how and some way, just like how I survived! By my hand still does hurt.. But he met Wolf and Rex and Clone Force 99.. (Sorry for spoilers on the Bad Batch) but crosshair will find his way soon enough too and so will omega! #2022
If Thorn, Keeli, Gregor, Fordo and Rex teamed up..... They could take on the entire CIS and the Empire on their own.

@@himedo1512 not in the conventional sense, but most blasters including those did have canisters that needed to be swapped at intervals depending upon the strength of the shots. High power shots used up more gas and required more frequent reloading.
He is a comando. My boys can kill anything you throw at them as long as they have one arm to punch. Pluse that blaster is also a sniper although he didnt put on that modification

seeing gregor in that sick ass clone commando armor, and wielding the DC-17m blaster rifle was beautiful. i wanted to play republic commando right after i saw the episode

That Orto Plutona scene is so underated, the clones would have fought to the last man if the reinforcements hadn't arrived.
They would've, the 501st we're true soldiers
My favorite part of the scene is where they are backed against the edge and the last three soldiers remaining look at Rex, he lays at a formation and they nod and get in position. It’s typical for them to do that because of who they are but they just look so bad ass doing it, especially while Rex slowly walks to his position. He would die protecting a man he hates because his general ordered him to, good soldiers follow orders
Forgot the arc trooper unit that defeated grievous in 2003.
They'll be in part 3, there are just too many badass clones

I loved Hevy. He, in my eyes, is what made clones great. Ingenuity, loyalty, and the willingness to sacrifice for the greater good. And he was a rookie, which just goes to show how good the higher ranks were.

I wonder what would have happened to hevy if he survived? He gets the detonator working, blows them up, gets into the 501st. You think that fives would survive too because hevy was helping him?
Ever since I first saw the rishi outpost episode as a kid, it has been my favorite in the series, and Hevy my favorite clone, only followed by the first 2 eps of season 3. I was really happy that Echo and Fives became recurring characters. The fact that it got it's own mission in the LEGO game too was sick.

@@thebarbarianninja4152 no the commander role is given to a jedis padawan. Ahsoka was the commander of the 501st until she left then rex was promoted. Obi wan had no padawan so cody was the commander
Whatever mutation or additional genes got into Fordo's cloning tank, they need more of it, cause that mofo is the Sly Marbo of the Clone wars

and clones already have good aim look at the scene with the 501st in the last clip. for only 3 normal troopers and captain rex they were shooting down ( ill call them yetis ) yetis as fast as a batalion of droids would

@MixedCompsEditsVids I disagree. Clones have the best aim while storm troopers have good aim. To bad all they're fighting are plot armored retards or rebels who are still relevant to the plot
@MixedCompsEditsVids I'm sorry but I still have to disagree. Storm troopers are specialized units the grunts of the empire are called imperial infantry or something. They're helmets are state of the art the only reason they would fail is if anyone besides the owner wears it. That's why alot or rebels and even Rex said he cant see through it. Strom troopers are good shots especially in that first scene where the storm troopers we're boarding a rebel ship (forgot the name) they only had 2 casualty while the rebel lost even with home field and cover advantage. You could argue that they were the 501st and sure but there is also this one scene were the storm troopers we're ordered to let luke escape. They manage to intentionally miss there shot but making it still believable that they're being shot at.
Storm troopers are elite units. It's just the movies literally made them a joke
Gregor's last stand was on par with Noble 6. A true legend. RIP soldier.

Fordo, an OG ARC Trooper, got jipped and wasn't included in the Clone Wars series. In this series, he was shown several times, being a badass

Its a shame that when the empire happens they sorta went away with all of the clones so quickly. I feel like although they are all clones, they make for some of the best characters
OG battlefront 2 talks a bit about this, how suddenly the troopers werent in sync as much because of it.
Gregors death always gets me, it always makes me tear up a bit. Rip to all those who serve and die for there country, regardless of there nation. I salute you all.

Captain Keele was amazing and my brother and I paused to cry a little. He was loyal to the very end, fighting along side his Jedi, fates intertwined.

Watching heavy sacrifice himself I always one of the most badass yet sad scenes in the clone wars. The way he just says says,” I don’t “ is just so awesome

Captain Keeli is such an underrated clone.
Hevy, although he only lasted two episodes, is still my absolute fav clone trooper. He got a good personality, is loyal to his friends and home yet brave and has a strong will while also willing to die for a greater good. Hevy is the best example for a clone trooper, really sad he died so fast.

Even though I know Gregor lives, I still tear up at his last moment in Clone Wars
Rex and the 501st on Orto is cool because we get to see the clones left to themselves without direct jedi guidance and they are still amazing. Rex and his bois are loyal, lethal and make the best of a bad situation. If it wasn't for the bridge collapse, they were home free....
You could add Umbara, but with a huge PTSD thanks to Krell
Last stands, when done correctly, are perhaps the pinnacle of what it means to be human
Soldiers don't fight because they hate what's in front of them.
They fight because they love who is behind them.
Well that depends on the soldier. Many fight because they think they're guard dogs keeping baddies from things or people they like and others fight because they're psychotic blood knights who want to feel badass.

I really like the battle on Ryloth with Ima Gun Di, Captain Keeli, and their regimen, because it showed the real threat of the droid army. Not so much comedic relief/cannon fodder as opposed to unrelenting onslaught of murder machines. That was the point of the droid army, huge amounts to overwhelm the more strategic Clones and Jedi of the Republic.
Who says droids don't have any emotions? The way the droid was concerned and worried about where Gregor was is definitely something that hit a different kinda feeling
The Clones are considered the best allies and brother in arms the Jedi and the Old Republic ever had till The Empire and Sidious tainted their honour and good name making them Storm Troopers.
To me, Clone Troopers will forever be engraved in my soul.
In a way I’m a glad captain Keeli and Ima-Gun-Di died there, they didn’t live long enough for their bond to be broken by order 66. Beautiful...

Idk why but the little noises the b2 batts droid made at 4:16 made me laugh. They could have made the droid silent but they added that noise to indicate the droid was inconvenienced

Man I grew up with Commander Fordo and Alpha-17, I absolutely love the Clone Wars show but NO ONE can top them as the most badass Clones in all of Star Wars in my opinion

Hevy, Fordo, Keeli, and every single Clone who gave their lives for the Republic died as they lived: Absolute Chads.
I mean hey rex said that their duty was to protect him, and he proves him self a loyal trooper by doing so in the most badass way possible
Part three should have the 501st and 212th against Pong Krell, or when Rex was nearly killed on Felucia and his squad defended him

Commando greger no longer being canonically dead is so cool because he did this suicidal mission and everyone thought he died but apparently survived due to him showing up in the bad batch

Forgot the name of the assault rifals but we almost just see the long and the short version. Imagine how dope it would be to see a heavy in other episodes after his final with the minigun. Ah Dave Filony always graps the best flowers also like hardcase and fives
DC15 is the long rifle.
DC15A is the short carbine.
DC17 is the pistols.
DC17M is the Commando Assault rifle.

That was one of the most badass phrases on Star Wars
I've never watched the show, but I love that none of the last stands seem pointless or just for the bit. They're critical to a decisive victory, which makes the deaths all the more hard-hitting.
