What a brilliant video! I love that i can sit on the other side of the world and ingest someone else’s knowledge for free and use it to improve my life musically
Would love to see more vids on chords and a breakdown of the theory. If you use the number system, it would be great if you could mention scale degrees and what key you're in so that it would be a little easier to follow. Thanks for the vids
Great video! Just gotta say your topics are interesting, useful, and relevant to modern music production. Your videos have no fat, getting right to the point--they're even annotated! You present your ideas clearly and authentically and with humor and without that obnoxious UA-cam / public speaking affectation that plagues so many otherwise good music channels.
your patch/preset tutorial videos are very helpful and thoughtfully explained. would love to see more! the liquid DnB mix was also great, would love to see more of that too. thanks for the videos.
I'd love to know how the George Clinton "man's best friend" bass was made, it's apparently very simple, kind of Gap Band type as well... but sometime i tried to imitate it and it missed something... thanks for your funky videos, i can "resonate" with them !
Thank you for an awesome video. I've been building my own pre 90s presents for personal jam sessions. How did I not discover your channel before?! I would like to particularly thank you for walking through the patch design so clearly, describing not just what to do, but why. From your video I realised I've been working on the filter of my sounds too early in the design process. Fantastic. I learned something today!
What's your thought on VSTs vs analog synth for bass sounds? Do you find it to be a noticeable difference or are you always able to get the sound you want with a little effort via VSTs?

Envelope speed part is black screen (from 04:47 to 04:54), or is it just me?
Thank you so much!! Please keep these coming

Whoa, sometimes UA-cam actually recommends me good stuff! This is great!
I second this comment, YT... Sometimes.

what fl stock plugin would you recommend for saturation? limiter? maximus?
Hmm. I suppose you could use waveshaper for distortion and limiter for compression. Maximus can work too
Ha! You got me with the simp joke, if not with the great rundown. As a subscriber at least, not as a patreon...
your videos on youtube is rare but always - gold!!❤
That sounds straight from a John Carpenter soundtrack, but groovy, I'll keep this close
Yup, you nailed it! Sounds like Midnight Starr.
I’m subscribing. I learn so much and she is just lovely and pleasant. Inspiring.
The 1176... with the Dr. Pepper setting! Wow what a blast from the past. Thanks for the great videos. Super informative!
This was a really helpful video. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
I got mesmerized pretty bad watching this, so I'm not sure I got all that, but it was good. I'm off to summon some bass sounds!
What's wrong with this picture? Can you tell?
I am a metalhead bass guitarist into dark and low tuned industrial/metal/experiment music and LOVE to geek out your skills for inspiration 🤟🤟🤟🖤🖤🖤
Hi there! I love your tutorials! New subscriber here! Thank you so much!

Awesome, and thank you. Needed a classic 80’s bass. Also the tip on the reverb and saturation was great. 🙌🏼🙏🏼
How do you like the Sonicware synths you’ve got behind you?
Awesome, you're back. Lovely sounding patch.

Thank you very much for sharing.
Excellent tutorials! Thank you
is this a mono or stereo track?
It was mentioned in the first couple of minutes.. did you even watch it
@@erynfauulkner4786 Making a synth use one voice doesnt always mean it doesn’t have other effects going on that makes it stereo.
i love how you even look like someone time travelled from the 1980s lol
What’s the name of the song?
Not sire yet. Something Ive been working on.

Oh crap thanks lol
What's your thought on VSTs vs analog synth for bass sounds? Do you find it to be a noticeable difference or are you always able to get the sound you want with a little effort via VSTs?
They can absolutely sound as good as an analog. But nothing beats having the real thing, and the connection you get from using it.
Love This! 😬😬👌
Very cool!
what is that song for the example? i need that!!
@@overrr1509 I need Eliana's version!!
Tremendous, Eliana. Thank you.
