- Many of Strangereal's conflicts are not directly mentioned in the Ace Combat games, this video will shed light on all known conflicts that took place in Strangreal before the year of 2000. I'm also including rebellions, coups, cold wars and even terrorist acts. Part 2 will cover the conflicts from 2000 and beyond.

I love how they took some real places on Earth and changed them a bit and put them in this game. Such as Greenland and the Great Lakes.

I think the whole thing with AWWNB was that if you sent missiles to OSEA and Yukie's capitals, it would trigger MAD and other states would get dragged into it, either with uprisings or starting fights when the big states aren't looking, and the world ending up the Strangereal version of Fallout.
Fallout has no borders, or at least it didn't in the first few games for about 84{?) years, until the NCR was founded.
WWI and WWII era Ace combats would be so cool. Could still make flying battleships with zeplins and other air ships.
Btw I know its been many months since you have been off, but I'll always be a wingman here in the Ace Combat community. Keep up the great work ACF

The Belkans should have realised that trying to stand up to a growing superpower is often a bad idea when they would be their biggest export market

Meanwhile people just making witty comments about how belligerent Strangereal is. Kind shows how disconnected from real life most of us are. The only difference here is that in Strangereal, usually both sides have access to advanced aircraft while in real life its just one super military country beating a bunch of dead horses.

Taking a deeper look at this map just makes me realize how much Strangereal is an agglomeration of malformed amputated real world countries and continents, suddenly the name "Strangereal" makes much more sense (and in quite a cool way actually)
as someone from Michigan I always find the great lakes on the OSEA-Belkan boarder funny as it is very obvious in its shape. As well as the fact that Belka is somehow able to move a military, planes or not, nicely through there as all the major land masses that make up the great lakes are not connected.
I believe strangereal as a distant world not that far from reach, mirroring with our own reality.
Im not sure whether Project Aces used it or not but I remember in early 2000's I found this random map generator for fiction writer. I remember using it and at one time the generator generated a map that looks exactly the same as the strangereal map.

It's cool how the war of the first game was very small compared to the others', like they kept growing in scale with each game

Gliders have existed IRL since the 1200s.
There's an account of someone building some canvas contraption, jumping out a window, breaking a leg, slapping a tail on it, jumping again, and flying a pretty decent distance.
Every year is an one time opportunity to start a war for Belka.
Its pretty funny it kind of reminds me of a sand box world builder, almost every month to every year a war would go on.

I really like the mixture of realism and sci-fi, it's still realistic and gritty but also has giant weapons of mass destruction
I would love an Ace Combat where it newest jets are from the early 1960s. There're a few conflicts perfect for such a game to take place. Imagine unlocking a top-tier jet...a MiG-25 or a F-111B!

@@AugustGreen_ Gründer Industries obtained the blueprints from the FCU and managed to manufacture 1 A-variant which was sent to Yuktobania post Continental War. They then were tasked by the EASA to develop the Strike Wyvern seen in 7.
The ADF units, the X-02S, V1 and V2, XB-0 Hresvelgr, P-1112 Aigaion, the ICBM-Defense System Excalibur, Avalon Dam, Zone of Endless AI and maybe the Sky Fortress.
I wish this video was a half hour long, love this kind of stuff. Excellent coverage as usual.

An Idea, South Belka (North Osea) delcare it idipendence from the Osean Federation, Osea send the army to quell the separatist movement, and Belka aid the saparatist to fight against Osea. Every reference on real life event is purely coincidental.
Imagine, an Ace Combat in old wars, with WWI and WWII aircrafts, focused on dogfights and bombing.

This just makes me wish for an Ace Combat game situated in the 70's or 80's, where stuff like the F-18 and MiG-29 are top tier planes.
Given that AC1 took place in the Skully Islands, I'd love to see another game set there, or at least see operations set there.
I'd also primarily just love to see a modern iteration of AC1 areas like Donet City.
This is a good way to increase our AC culture, nicely done ^^
Making this video was a great idea and if you ever decide to make another one I'd suggest a few things:
-color the sea so it's easier to distinguish land from the sea
-constantly zoom in and out of a bigger map WITHOUT EFFECTS to show accurately where the wars happened
-use small pins/images that represent conflicts to show where it happened (tough one since we don't know much about most conflicts but still it's nice to have a visual of sorts)
-maybe keep a time line on the top with a marker for every conflict or major event that happened to show how long was it between events

@@TheSkyGuy77 Point of views, you can't expect a wounded nation to obey whatever you say and threaten them with economic sanctions if it doesn't comply. Erusea did ask for help and for others countries to take more refugees. Then, of course, you had young officer / Belkans who intervened. They defended themselves, perhaps not the best way, but they did. It was all due to hopelessness, as Avril said in AC7 "Erusea started a war they had no chance of winning". It's all about sending a message, Osea understood and did their best to help Erusea by bringing them the Space Elevator. But of course, Belka disapproved :)

As somebody who doesnt play Ace Combat, seeing Greenland and Iceland made me realize why the world looks so unique

If I remember correctly (I think it was ace combat 4) there was a world map that literally just had all of Europe and Africa, but it was changed in ace combat 5

I'm sure AC3 pilots had to learn about the past conflicts at school.

I think yuktobania joined the belkan war because if belka won they probably would have had enough power to unify the entire Eastern content and definitely would have been more powerful then osea which was already a match for yuktobania

Since the first belkan war is a ww1 anology (with belka being germany) i think its safe to assume the war in the 40s is a ww2 anology and assume its against osea again (just like ww2 was a semi repeat faction wise)
This actually helps clarify things especially in AC7 where I have no idea where Im even fighting, cant wait for Part 2

You could have interesting setting for a game with the Yuktobanian wars from the late 80s.
Playing as a Yuke squadron and maybe later in the game you start to encounter secret Osean and Belkan fighters helping the opposite side, setting up Zero in a way.
osea fund eastern belka separatist militants through NED (national endowment for democracy) , igor and grishka Bogdanov famous financial speculators caused the belkan economic crash by dumping the mineral ressources prices.
now that I can see a proper map of the Strangereal Earth, I'm both laughing because there's just so many copies of real countries ("oh look, I spot Greenland, Africa, Europe, Spain, Nova Zemlya, Russia, Russia AGAIN, Nova Zemlya AGAIN, New Zealand...") but also mad as fuck that the one continent they completely fail to include is FUCKING AUSTRALIA WHY THE FUCK DOES EVERYONE FORGET ABOUT AUSTRALIA FUCKING CHRIST
