TBF, he said that after Erusea had pushed up all the way to North Point and the ISAF had to fight tooth-and-nail just to get to a point where they could launch Operation Stone Crusher. Especially after how many losses they incurred thanks to both Stonehenge and the Yellows. This is also considering he started the mission with, "Stonehenge has taken the lives of many Aces. We're in need of new heroes." Erusea had taken something that had saved their continent from total annihilation and turned it into a weapon of mass destruction.
@@Mobius_118 Stonehenge was an air-defense weapon. Even tuned to hit planes rather than asteroid fragments, it was NOT a weapon of mass destruction, by its very nature. It was never used to target population centers or _any_ ground targets and was in fact, incapable of doing so.
@@Archris17 Weird hill to die on my guy. A weapon of mass destruction is defined as a weapon that *can* cause harm to a great number of people, doesn't matter whether or not it *does*, just having the potential can classify it as one. Erusea using Stonehenge to maintain air supremacy across over half of the Usean continent by destroying a high number of ISAF aircraft (to the point where the ISAF got pushed back all the way to North Point) with airburst shots would place it firmly in that category. It's like saying the V2 wasn't a weapon of mass destruction because it never killed anyone.
@@Mobius_118 No, a weapon of mass destruction has a _very specific_ meaning and a weapon that is incapable of firing at civilian targets does NOT fall under that category. Just because a weapon can kill more than a couple of people at once does NOT make it a WMD. According to the United Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs, a WMD is specifically a nuclear, radiological, chemical or biological weapon with destructive power comparable to an atomic bomb. Airbursting anti-air munitions are very explicitly NOT WMDs and again, could not be used to target civilian targets. By your logic, your everyday artillery shell would count as a WMD because it can kill a hundred or so men at once!

So the number 3 turret was the one that was non operational at the time of Ace Combat 4 when ISAF sent Mobius 1 and other squadrons to destroy Stonehenge. Therefore that turret survived the attack and would later be repaired prior to Ace Combat 7, where it fires one last shot in order to shoot down one of the Arsenal Birds before collapsing.

Later on in 2019, as Max0r once said.
"What once killed asteroids *Now kills assholes!* "
That was Spine tingling, think I just found my new StrangeReal history teacher. My last teacher was great but his accent would prevent me from hearing some key moments.
When the sky fell, a new era began. Great lore video Sol👍
I knew something felt off when SkyEye said “That’s a complete victory for the good guys” after we destroyed Stonehenge and shot down Yellow Four
@@Mobius_118 Not to mention Erusea was under military rule by the time of AC4.
Wooh! Lol, onward from 8:50 is how Estovakia were getting Salty to Emmeria
Dive Colosio the Estovakian salt was very strong! ;)
@Gen. JFH the Emmerian were meant the supplies to the government, didn't know it was either relegated or sabotaged by another party.
Weird that they haven't notified about it
So the number 3 turret was the one that was non operational at the time of Ace Combat 4 when ISAF sent Mobius 1 and other squadrons to destroy Stonehenge. Therefore that turret survived the attack and would later be repaired prior to Ace Combat 7, where it fires one last shot in order to shoot down one of the Arsenal Birds before collapsing.
Before watching this video I always wondered that why only one rail gun was operational I thought Mobius 1 destroyed them all
Hold it.
It said on acepedia the it was railgun 4 that was almost hit not 3.
This video is fantastic! All of us here probably played the AC games over and over again but your presentation about this old tale actually got me a little emotional. You and these videos that you make are one of the reasons why Ace Combat is still alive today! Definitely liking and subbing
Wait... so you're saying that ISAF was full of assholes trying to make Erusea take one for the team? wow can we get a game where we play as Yellow 13?
I think they were planing that.
I'm very late to the party but this whole series, narration, and goddam amazing Paint.exe drawings is mind-blowing. Thank you so much for putting this whole thing together. The amount of work and love you out into this definitely shows. I subbed right away!
Awesome! Please make more of these!
Spaceflight Potato > :)
Man if Namco funds more money into Project Aces, they can expand the series from different points of views. One from pilots (Ace Combat) and another one from soldiers (FPS title). FPS in Strangereal would be an interesting concept.
An FPS game would be pretty reliant on air support, considering how many missions we got ingame that had to do with supporting ground mission
I dont even play ace combat but this video got me shook on my seat
I don't care what you say, your drawings (especially Stonehenge) are AMAZING! Good work!
People say "Belka did nothing wrong", but after playing AC04, the correct answer is *ERUSEA DID NOTHING WRONG*
Why didn’t Estovakia either A. Ask other countries for help in completing the Chandelier OR B. Do what Emmeria did and act defensively against the Ulysses asteroid?
Great Video Series! As someone who currently replaying Ace Combat 4 I now have more Sympathy for Eurasia.
I just found your channel and I’m so incredibly impressed. You put so much work into these animations and it really shows. Thank you for creating content man, you deserve way more subs
you know what?
you got a new subscriber.
and I like these history stories.
This guy is really good at telling a story... I'M SO GLAD I WENT LOOKING FOR ACE COMBAT LORE & HISTORY VIDEOS, & it recommended your channel.. this is the first video I watch on your channel but I'm going to subscribe after this because this was a real treat 👍 keep doing stuff like that I'll keep watching......
Stonehenge firing on the fragments would make an awesome arcade game...
The soundtrack on Ulysses day and editing is awesome
So hown many nations make up Urusea. It seems like there's loads of small nations we know nothing about
They change it in each game. Emmeria and Estovakia were a single nation in AC5 and then in AC6 Anea was divided in 3.
@@LuizAlexPhoenix
I like to head cannon it as the annexation and subsequent breakaway of various countries or nations as time goes on and the larger powers begin to decline. Yeah I know doesn't make much sense but still...
Damn bro, this is tragic, even if it's fake.
Wow these videos are so cool. I never realized how close in the timeline the Ulysses incident was to the plot of the games.
I appreciate the amount of work put into this, good job.
UnidentifiedTurian thank you! :) I always strive to give 110% effort.
So all this war happened because Erusea was told to do something they couldn’t do?
Basically it was the other counties in the usea continent trying to take the easy way out forcing all the displaced people on them. Which made no sense when plenty of foreign nations where willing to help
@@LunaPPK so you can’t really blame Erusea then
@@jetengnexd4348 both sides in the end are at fault because they all let a bunch of people die at the boarders.
@@LunaPPK People can't die at the borders if there are no borders
@@129aslamnurfikrir4 That's what V2 is for.
"they were sitting ducks" I loled*
8:39 i was just a child when the stars fell from the skies. but i remember how they build a cannon to destroy them. and in turn how that cannon brought war upon us. war was an abstract idea, nothing more than a show on tv. as a child i only was it as something that happened in some far away land... until that final day in the summer... one day while on my way to school, looked up into the skies. it sounded like distant thunder... in the blue skies far above me, contrails drew dizzying circles around in a crazy walts. a battle in the beautiful skies far away... i could not tear my gaze away from them water noises su-37 fly by and then a sharp silhouettes appeared, as if to graze the hills and streaked past me the fighters played a cat or the mouse in turned (1 circle battle) as they climbed swiftly into the sky. onle fleeing plane fell out of the skies, spiraling and spewing orange flames to crash by the cape. the same cape where my family lived.* more water noises* now they only live in my memories of the days past. the victor circled around to confirm the kill. and on his craft..... there was a large number 13 emblazoned in yellow. i will never forget this.
6:10: I see what you did there, and I appreciate it very much. The illustrations are very pleasing and charming as well.
This brings back a memory though. As a younger kid (6-7 years old) I didn't understand the nuances of the game, and I never destroyed the jammer in the middle of Stonehenge during the offensive in AC4. You better believe I took a rocket launcher and handled the turrets regardless, only to be trounced by Yellow Squadron every. Single. Time.
Zamn that shot at 0:49 goes hard. Wow you are a great story teller, you have some great artistic skills aswell, might not be super detailed but it certainly gets the job done.
7:45 So that’s why that turret wasn’t a target in AC4.
How have not seen this channel yet?
Love me some Ace Combat Lore!
Man I've been a fan since the first game, and this video gave the feels and everything. Fantastic video, I hope you keep making content dude!!!
ive played sence ace combat 4 but played the first few later
Your videos have helped me understand the strange real world. Ace Combat 5 and 7 are the only two that I've played.
I hope you can do more in the future.
Ace Combat 04 is the BEEESST
Amazing and entertaining work. Really appreciate this!
Thank you!
Hey man only just found your channel and I absolutely love it
Stonehenge 2 online!
Stonehenge 3 through 7 online!
Stonehenge 8 on-offline!
Preparations complete, ready f-ooooooh, nooooo.
We need a TV series about this Ace Combat History stuff.
This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for ace combat series and the world of strangereal
Why didn’t Usea send the Refugees to Osea and/or Yuktobania instead of Erusia?
Excellent content friend!
So thats why the city in Battle for Farbanti is underwater, AC is so magical
With Osea being so willing to partner with Usea in the past you think they would offer to take in some refugees. Screw Osea lol, would love to fight them one of these games.
Love your videos btw.
That was i wanted for AC7
Osea did take in refugees. Apparently, the only city that took in more refugees than Gracemeria was Osea's capital, Oured.
@@MyNamesFurii Knew I saw that somewhere
Oh, and we’re just gonna let Yuktobania off the hook now are we?
Paul Gibson ?
This is cool. I like this! Keep up the good work man. The art is also charming too lol
Thank you Hurricane! :) I will!
I think the most terrifying thing about this is the fact how easily this could be us. If anything this history could become us down the line since we have almost no known way of dealing with foreign objects entering our atmo. We have even had a few close calls if I am remembering right, but still, its scary to think about what could happen to our planet in this kind of situation.
nah we never got a truly close call the closet of these "close call" was like double the distance of earth and the moon its just that people love sensationalism and saying ASTEROID IN A CLOSE TRAJECTORY TO EARTH sell more than Asteroid passing at 700000Kmh of earth
Estovokia limping from economic depression and civil war
Estovokian government: let’s make a 6th-gen jet without foreign help!
They probs borrowed money from Belka
I was very confused in ace combat 7 why half of Eurasian’s capital was half sunk, it all makes sense now
As someone who grew up on AC4 and has just recently been looking deeper into Ace Combat lore, this is sick! I love the illustrations, I've been progressing through the story recently and I was wondering why a large portion of Farbanti was sunken, well I knew about Ulysses but not that part of Stonehenge had failed, thus leaving that asteroid to strike, so that's pretty tragic.. anyways, great video! I hope to get some other Ace Combat games eventually, preferably Zero and 5 of course
Really glad I found your channel, these videos are great ! Keep up the good work ! :)
Thank you RubikPanda! :)
I just play Ace Combat for the actions, and finally see this, man that was sad
If this means your back, I am so subscribing!
Even though these are hand drawn, they are stunning in detail. Congrats Solutus Eversol!
Belo vídeo, obrigado por contar a história de um dos eventos mais importantes da saga Ace Combat, daria um bom anime.
Absolutely Amazing video man. I love Ace combat and its history. Its so similar to are own..yet different. 👍
Outstanding video
man, your channel is underrated. I learned things which I never heard from other channels
And people wonder why I side with Erusea
Attention all aircraft! Incoming from Stonehenge confirmed! Descend to 2000 feet!
I really appreciate the effort you put into this video! Must be hard doing it all in MS Paint! Good job 👍!
Anyone hear about the incoming asteroid that’s apparently supposed to hit Earth in 2046? We could sure use an STN rn 🤣
This is why we fight. This is why we fly. We have so far to go. To the heavens and beyond...
Man...
With how they handled "Shin Godzilla" the story of Ulysses Day would fit right up their alley.
This is amazing more please so cool
well that was amazing
That cannon really had it out for Erusea. First it failed to defend Farbanti, then it proved pivotal to halt their invasion of the continent.
And then 20 years later her final gun was used by the Oseans to shoot down the Osean super weapon stolen by the Eruseans
Now it finally makes sense why fabanti was flooded in one area in ace combat 7
