A lot of info I used is from the Acepedia wiki which they stated dual air intakes. I do recognize there is a third but some info I try not to adapt too much
Both are correct, the Fenrir deployed by Leasath is exactly like @Karbengo said, but after the war, Aurelia captured a few Fenrirs and deployed in a "cheaper version" without STOVL capabilities, this is the version shown here in the video, the Aurelian tech demonstrator, which was later sold.
Correcting the verification of the correction, the Aurelian tech demonstrator was never sold. It was simply used for research purposes. In Infinity, it was obviously sold to mercenary forces (the players), but there's no info on the reproduction version of Fenrir. But yeah, the design as described on Acepedia was from the playable model since that's the one that's easier to look at from various angles. The end of the video misses one major detail, Aurelia actually reproduced the Fenrir with higher mobility but lacking VTOL and invisibility. This is confirmed on Aceoefis and is sourced from the Guidebook for ACX. There were a few details missed in this video (people already pointed out their were three engines not two) but it’s still a solid video regardless.
This was really nice. Oh and in AC Infinity's timeline it was given the designation XFA-33 for those curious.

So surprising that the XFA-33 only got a second mainstream appearance in AC INFINITY (excluding Joint Assault of course) and the game didn't really do the aircraft much justice either. Would be nice to see an Ace Combat Title to include a history of the creation behind the aircraft of the ADF, YR, and XFA series of super fighters, who these pilots we're, and what situation these aircraft found themselves in. A good example would be Foulke's aquisition of the Morgan (aside from the war thunder mod), the creation of Aurelia's first YR-99 FORNEUS prototype by the newly formed Neucom in the late 2020's.
I know the fenrrir had coffin V1 where it was the cameras but where was it stated that it had thought control? Coffin V1 was just cameras into the cockpit onto display screens.
Finally, my all time favorite Strangereal/Ace Combat original aircraft. I love everything about this aircraft & even its handling feels so responsive to me.
1 week late?! 1 WEEK LATE?!! UA-cam, you have one job! ONE!!! Great video as always Sol, I can see that your work has improved significantly. Sorry for being so late. Good luck for your future videos!
question: did you play ACX? because i noticed a few mistakes on your Fenrir design description, such as the twin intakes (it actually had 3 intakes, the central one is in between the pod and the fuselage, making some sort of mouth), the dual thrust vecoring engines (those only apply yaw movements) and therefore the VTOL capabilities and high angle of attack capabilities (those were due to it's 3rd central engine housed in the fuselage that was capable to bend downward up to 90°) other than that, the history of the Fenrir was right (unless i missed some things playing ACX) and the video was very well done and kept me watching until the end ^^ now for the real question: XFA-33 Fenrir, XFA-24A Apalis, XR-45 Caiburn, YR-302 Fregata and YR-99 Forneus comeback when?
Since this fenrir project was built in the year 2020, it was 1 year away during eurusea and osea civil war in 2019. By the time Ace Combat's 7 timeline has already passed, I have a high hope ace combat 8 will featuring fenrir aircraft. My guess theory is that fenrir is still out there all around some of the country. I bet the one who will make fenrir even better is belka. They're very terrifying and major threat, especially grey men.

Thank you! ☺️
Its interesting to see just how deep Project Aces goes with the designs for their superplanes. They all feel like they COULD work.
Why this is only just now showing up in my feed beyond me lol. But great job as always! I gotta learn how to do those briefing style animations like that.
I pray the Fenrir is added to Ace Combat 7. I never got to use the LSWMs in Infinity, or played ACX.
Great video as always. The Fenrir is just a bonkers and cool plane
AC X is an underrated gem.
The quality in this video is just chefs kiss level of enjoyment. Or maybe it’s just the neon. I love defcon style neon
XFA-33 Fenrir is now modded into ace combat 7
The illustration is looking great!
I would love to hear the history on the xfa-27 or the cfa-44 :D great video buddy
Finally, my all time favorite Strangereal/Ace Combat original aircraft. I love everything about this aircraft & even its handling feels so responsive to me.
THE RETURN OF THE KING
Great vid! I’m gonna now binge half your channel lol
Thank you! Just be ready for some bad art two years ago lol
excellent vid man keep it up !
So ACX takes place 1 year after AC7 amazing how much tech progressed in 1 year. 😜
Can you make the history of the Aigaion and its sister ships/aircraft?
I hope this plane becomes available in AC7 or Ace combat 8. The Fenir is borderline OP and I want it. :)
The Fenir is coming to Ace combat 8 in March 2025 ;).
Man, such nostalgic times, sitting under the covers of my bed, playing ACX
Man, I wish the Fenrir made it to AC7 as DLC
BEST SUPER PLANE
1 week late?! 1 WEEK LATE?!! UA-cam, you have one job! ONE!!!
Great video as always Sol, I can see that your work has improved significantly. Sorry for being so late. Good luck for your future videos!
Thank you Erusea! :) don’t worry the videos aren’t disappearing lol
question: did you play ACX? because i noticed a few mistakes on your Fenrir design description, such as the twin intakes (it actually had 3 intakes, the central one is in between the pod and the fuselage, making some sort of mouth), the dual thrust vecoring engines (those only apply yaw movements) and therefore the VTOL capabilities and high angle of attack capabilities (those were due to it's 3rd central engine housed in the fuselage that was capable to bend downward up to 90°) other than that, the history of the Fenrir was right (unless i missed some things playing ACX) and the video was very well done and kept me watching until the end ^^
now for the real question: XFA-33 Fenrir, XFA-24A Apalis, XR-45 Caiburn, YR-302 Fregata and YR-99 Forneus comeback when?
Since this fenrir project was built in the year 2020, it was 1 year away during eurusea and osea civil war in 2019. By the time Ace Combat's 7 timeline has already passed, I have a high hope ace combat 8 will featuring fenrir aircraft. My guess theory is that fenrir is still out there all around some of the country. I bet the one who will make fenrir even better is belka. They're very terrifying and major threat, especially grey men.
Bro Fenrir's Pilots use their thoughts just like Falken's Pilots
I remember I had a nightmare fighting those things in ace mode in ace combat skies of deception
I miss this kind of videos
Ah, the Uncle Diego's toys, don't worry, they're just made for trolling some suspiscious pilots
