What's the model number of the Dewalt sander with the base. Looks like a must have tool. Super job on the table!

It’s a Dewalt DW433 3x21 variable speed belt sander. I got it years ago in a giant case that included the sled and brackets that attach to the sled to hold the sander vertical or horizontal. I’ve only used it with the sled and it works great and no gouging the material from the belt rocking side to side.

What kind of wood?

I don't know for sure. It was leaning agains the wall in a shop of a sawmill/ kiln dry guy. My guess would be Alder.
