No clickbait, no sensationalism, no cringe cliche thumbnail. Everyone of these videos is a winner. You're the man, Foresty Forest.
Thanks Mandy 👍
canada is pretty enough that it doesn’t need clickbait, even the walmart parking lot skies are pretty.
Every* one*
Could not have said it better myself
Well said, I think the exact same thing every episode.
Gets literally stuck in the snow on the top of a mountain but does not make a clickbait title about it. Quality dude.
I think he has a morbid obsession with taking the hard way
I wanna know how to eat like him. This man will live to 100+ with a diet like his.
@@joebob9626 Makes it all himself from scratch using quality ingredients no unnecessary added junk.

Do you carry a satellite SOS device? Garmin Inreach, Zoleo?
He does all these crazy mountains and his fear is a ticket on his van. 🤣
Lol
"I lived for years without a freezer in my life..." My man, you lived in a freezer for years of your life that's how you became famous, remember Ben and Jerry's in the tire in the Arctic?
Foresty - exhausted after climbing three mountains in one day.
Me - exhausted after watching Foresty climb three mountains in one day.

Me - 🦛
I'd respond more but...too exhausted.
Can't think of a better way to wind down on a Sunday evening than some new Foresty Forest.
Agreed
In a van... DOWN BY THE RIVER!!! hehe
Amen!
Agreed!
Absolutely
This is literally the most underrated channel on UA-cam. Foresty Forest is life.
How does one “literally” determine that this is the most underrated channel on UA-cam? Was it voted on ? A press release ? Just stop using the word, ignorant and meaningless.
@@davidj8658 Have a better day friend!

Absolutely tell know one Foresty belongs to us and no one else.
There's a lot going on my life right now and knowing I can watch this video later in bed to help me relax means a lot.
Thanks, Forestry.
Forest makes it better. Things get better Zach.. in time.

" A new Walmart I haven't stayed at yet. How Elegant." 😆!
as a trucker i know exactly how he feels and staying in walmart parking lots is getting harder everyday
Parks Canada should give you a free lifetime pass in exchange for all the scenic content you have created. Oh, and they should designate you an Honorary Park Ranger!
Agree!
And they should open the park to fat tire bikes too. No more damage than horses can cause to the ecosystem. Being a brash American (US born), I would have rode the bike into the park, then let the chips fall, if I got stopped. It’s time for humanity to quit asking for permission to BE on this planet. Endless rules to follow Was not God’s intention for humanity. 🥰
@@dianecampbell184 that's why Americans are so unpopular everywhere, too. You're no exception. Stay in USA.
@@alan4sure sound jealous
@@Benny.13 and you sound like a typical easterner. There are more than enough visitors to National Parks, they don't need to advertise or make allowances for trail-damaging fat bikes to keep a few whiners happy.
Who else does a little “happy dance” when they see a New Foresty Forest upload?
Cause I do!
Another awesome video, another source of motivation to get out there and live life.
Long live FF!
I was fired from my job without notice or warning Friday. I lived in my car for 9 months before I got that job and finally felt secure enough to buy a fixer-upper mobile home. I should have stayed in my car! I LOVE Forest Forest videos because he reminds me that van or car living is both a necessity and a choice! I can't wait to ditch this place and get back into a true "mobile" home! Freedom!! Love your videos and positivity! Keep on climbing those mountains and cooking delicious meals!
@UA-cam needs a Snickers Thank you! He is indeed!
Life happens, I've been there. Trust something better will come your way. Unemployment helps. Good luck
Sorry to hear that - wishing good things for you.
@random user Yes, I do have lot rent - $560 a month. It was either a mortgage, rent or lot rent. I paid $5,000 for the mobile -which was what I had, but not enough for a traditional house mortgage downpayment. So lot rent was the cheapest option at the time. Hopefully I can walk away without taking too much of a hit - thank you for commisurating. Appreciate it!
Can we appreciate how Foresty will set his camera up and hike, knowing he has to go back and get it and then do those few meters again, just to give us a nice shot?
Omg when you said “I’m stuck I can’t get out! “ my heart skipped a beat! Even though I know you made it! Whew!
Good thing you showed getting back to the van before the " I'm stuck " part. You are going to give me a heart attack.
I've been following this man for years, and I regret nothing. Foresty Forest is a UA-cam treasure. He should be getting a million views on each video.
My biggest memory from Waterton Park in the late 80's was seeing a bunch of Deer in a parking lot and being so excited that I rushed out of my car with my camera to take pictures of them. After taking the pictures we went for a hike for a couple of hours, when we got back my car door was wide open. I had rushed so quickly out of the car to take the pictures of the deer that I forgot to close my car door and I left my purse in there as well with all my cash for the trip. When I got back to the car hours later my purse was still there even with the car door swung wide open. We saw lots of wildlife on that trip including Bears but my biggest memory is leaving my car door open and no one taking my purse or anything in it.
Haha, good story 🤣
🤗👏👏👍✌️
Coming soon to a Walmart near you: Foresty Forest Potato Salad and Buttermilk Fried Chicken.
😂😁😀
Image that! No half naked beach shots, no twirling around in circles and laughing nonsensically at nothing and no howling at the moon. Just really awesome content. Just be you Forest. That's what makes you the best. 👍😁❣️
WOW On the end. People need to watch it all the way to the end. Glad you got out!
Always do 👍
My grandmother's secret for making fried chicken - save the bag and twist tie your bread comes in for the fried chicken flour mix. You can just drop the chicken in and shake it around. It coats better and you're not scrubbing eggy flour out off a bowl and counter.
Good idea, that stuff is like cement!
Add corn flakes (or nutritional yeast)
Apply the eggy mix with a pastry brush, then flour mix in a bag - less waste, less messy.
@@jimwulstan8592 fun cleaning a pastry brush...
Great comment, I was about to recommend the "shake and bake" method to him as well!
I'm kinda wiped out from hiking a summit yesterday. So I'm gonna hike a summit. He's a warrior.
"Maybe it's time to trade the bike in for a horse."
Yeah, but it would a pain to strap the horse into the van every night.
That's when you teach it to drive
mini horse
🤣🤣
I don't think most people realize the amount of work you put into filming your excursions...another awesome video!! You're awesome!!
We do. We appreciate it. Thats why we watch. Great production value
Exactly! A place to start comprehending is one hour of work for every minute of video. That varies widely, of course!
He is UA-cam's version of Les Stroud
Mandy will you marry me?
Forestry forest is a rapist
Am i the only one who appreciates all the extra effort it took him to film himself dumping the water out of his pan? Jeez if that's not commitment to your craft i don't know what is :)
shut the camera off, go outside, set the camera up, turn the camera on, go back in the van, come out of the van, dump the water, go back in the van, then come out of the van, get the camera, go back in the van and set it up back up in the van (now I am exhausted !)
I would love to hear "how" you climb. Maybe more commentary. Like, how is it you don't slip and slide down the mountain and die everytime you climb? Or when the fatigue sets in or how to keep yourself motivated to finish a climb? Maybe how you make decisions on what equipment to bring on a hike and why you bring them? Stuff like that. I love the videos, but I would love to hear your thoughts as well!
Foresty, don't ever feel like you need to shorten these videos for our sake....the scenery is incredible and we love every minute. You're one of the best things on UA-cam. Thanks for your great videos!
I can't drive by a Walmart or homedepot without having a look for the foresty mobile!🔥👍
Does Home Depot let you overnight?
Azz
When Forest talks, it's like a RUN ON SENTENCE 😂. He doesn't pause to take a breath. 😂 I know I'm not the only one that notices this. Lol
Once I saw your feet..oh yeah ..he's sliding down the mountain..2 thumbs up!
That was a bit scary at the end!
Always love the shots and scenery of your hikes. It’s always so incredible!
Take care until the next video 🇨🇦 ❤️
We have to have a Party for your #100 Summit.
That or you cook up a very Special Meal for the occasion !!
Loved the way Foresty made the sound of the city so alluring.
That smoked paprika sent your voice to a different octave
Lol
😂😂
Well, that's what you get from smoking paprika.

I have a full size kitchen and know how to make potato salad but I still buy pre-made most of the time. Foresty you always amaze me with your cooking!
You've truly become a master of your craft.
I have spent the last two weeks bingeing your channel.
Which is so weird because I went through every hiking, vanning, hoboing channel like 6 years ago.
I remember watching your Alberta to Arizona a long time ago and then...UA-cam just disappeared you as far as I saw. I thought it was just a one off and promptly forgot about it.
I think the movie "Nomadland" seems to have triggered the algorithm to start recommending you again which means good things for you.
Even though, I am pretty sure that movie is about people who are forced into the van life, due to the US being a dumpster fire for the last few years
I just could not go any longer without telling you how incredible your channel is.
I know you hear it a lot.
I am am "old" now, but have been on youtube since it went live...and just want to tell you as a road warrior for many years.
Don't kill yourself for views.
You are good people and we all want to see you live to a ripe old age. (RIP Stobe)
Stay safe is what I am saying. You are my new favorite tuber.
- From what is left of the US.
Been killing the hikes my man. Excited to see you knock off mountains like it’s nobody’s business this summer 💪
Already.
and it's not even summer here yet...
Simon, would love to see you add kayaking to your adventure portfolio! I think it would be the perfect compliment to your, van life, hiking and biking journeys.
Nice job on the self rescue and major props for climbing a lot of these mountains almost twice to allow you to set up camera positions. You're an amazing dude.
Forest literally laughs in the face of death. Love this guy!
I swear Forest must be half mountain goat.
Another awesome vid bud, after a crap 15hr shift at work this is just what I need to relax.
Well that was an ending.
Always good to see you dear Forest. Two thoughts for you.. A meetup in the US and wait for it.. a foresty forest cook book- NOT kidding!
❤
I'll buy...
The balls he has to do this is amazing.
I envy him at times
Checking out older bike tour videos. Your the true Ironman.
this guy can do everything!
I liked the views from those high ridgelines, and the time lapses that show the hike in a different way.
Thanks Foresty for showing me how to enjoy the simple things in life and where real joy comes from. Simple man with a simple plan. God bless!
"it's getting hot in here, i gotta fetch my dessert"
Grabs Ben and Jerry's off the wheel.
If you find his van one day check the wheels for ice cream. That will prove it's his van.
That nice, even coating of dirt splatter looks quite good on the van. I could see people getting a professional paint job done to achieve the same aesthetic haha. Keep it as a badge of honor!
These 4K uploads for the last while are fantastic. It adds another layer to how beautiful some of the scenery is.
A new foresty video AND! Some new tunes to check out. Well if just aint my lucky day!
I never knew people could just climb a mountain like you do. I thought it was like on tv. It's pretty amazing!!! Thanks for sharing your journey. It's inspiring!
i’m going through a really rough patch in my life, suicidal thoughts and just pure anger . But your videos really make me calm down 🖤 i just want to thank you for making us this content
I hope you are doing ok, my friend! I'm glad that you have these Foresty videos to help. I suffer from the same stuff and I just wanted to stop and let you know that you are not alone! Take care and be well!
I’m glad these videos are here for when you need them. Those mountain shots do bring some peace don’t they? Take care...
I just wanted to say you matter and the world is a better place because you are in it. ❤️ Stay strong.
I have always watched Simon videos due to that reason to calm me down ... he has an easy way on his style , I hope your doing well sir!
I really appreciate that you take the time to compose your shots. Really makes a difference (as compared to someone who doesn't have an eye for photography/videography). Such a beautiful landscape that you show so well.
three mountains in one day? holy hiking Foresty. yummy potato salad!
Drunk cook-out live stream? .... you know we'll watch whatever. they don't all have to be stellar
If you ever run out of bear spray, smoked paprika should do the trick. It works the other way around as well
you’ve been encouraging me to cook more elaborate meals in my van. thanks man!
I could watch you summit a speed bump. Just keep cooking.
😂😁😂
I never never get tired of those glorious mountain scene scape shots in 4k?
Makes my 3 year old Samsung look cutting edge ! I may need to buy a Ninja soon thanks to you
Thanks for taking us on your adventures with you 🙂
Hike like that? You deserve that burger! :)
Shoulda got a whopper though
It's great to have a longer video. The ten minute videos sometimes feel a bit squeezed, but this video had room to breathe. Thank you!
Foresty, Thank you for making all this great content. We really look forward to it and enjoy every minute. Your summits are amazing! However if you need to take a break, go to Mexico or what ever...just take some time off. I am sure everyone would understand.
That footage at the end was YIKES...stay safe, Foresty!
I came here to say. I appreciate your cinematography. Like You’re camera work showing you climbing up a hill a lot of people forget life’s not a “reality show “ and someone had to place that camera and you had to descend and come back up again.
Thanks Foresty, this was a great episode! have fun in Waterton :)
Love where you take my eyes, please dont stop climbing
Uncle Foresty 🙌
I really admire your camera work, editing and hard work. You earn it every day. You should come climb some fourteeners here in Colorado. Stay safe Forest!
Us Hungarians are know for our paprika when cooking meals. You every try a bacon roast with a thick slab of bacon on a stick over a fire. As you cook up the bacon press its hot bacon grease against rye bread that has tomato, onion, and seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic salt and some paprika) . As the bacon gets done, cut off slices, and lay it on the bread. Now that real traditional off grid gypsy wagon cooking. Yummy!
You get more done in 17 minutes than I do in a week! How do you do it? Your video footage in the wild is spectacular. Love getting to see these climbs. You have gifted the world with your climbs. People like me who will never get to see this on our own. Paying it forward for future generations. The drone footage from up there is unbelievable. Serious eye candy.
100 summit special is coming up!! Big and important vid!!!
You know it's going to be a good week when there is not 1 BUT 2 videos!
Just saw that last clip of you getting caught in the snow. Damn! Be careful out there!! Even a small avalanche can have dire consequences. After the snow comes to a stop, it can set up like concrete, making really hard to extricate yourself if you're alone. I lost two dear friends to an avalanche while they were skiing the back country in British Columbia. So take good care, Foresty!! Wishing you a long and happy life!
Another excellent Foresty Forest video. Thanks for taking us to three more peaks. And please stay safe out there ! 👍😄
Glad you got unstuck!
dude that ending though...please stay safe out there foresty forest, we're all depending on you!
I am enjoying your adventures. Keep posting. I am 85 this year coming. I traveled and living in a van, bus, pickup and campers while moving around with my wife and kids. Working my trades to afford it. You have me remembering those years. I purchased a Gopro type camera to use.
I really enjoy watching your adventures . Thanks for the videos.
Great video! Thanks so much for sharing 💜
Never clicked so fast in my life before
So, something I do to make good oven friend chicken might be worth trying in the air fryer - instead of the buttermilk soak/egg dip/flour dredge, I make a seasoned mayo with all the spices you would put in the flour, coat the chicken in that, then roll it in bread crumbs (I like panko but whatever you have) and put it in the oven. The acid in the mayo covers the buttermilk flavor, the fat helps it all crisp up, the egg helps bind the crust on, and the crumbs make a crunchier crust than baked flour crust does. It's the best oven fried method I've done!
Forestry rocking a new pair of Fjallraven pants! Nice !
I wish we had that weather in Vegas right now.
Amazing Foresty , you have dope skills in sharing great content thank you !
Thanks Craig 🙂
Life is better when you can watch Foresty Forest!
You have incredible stamina, and your videos are superb. Thank you for sharing them. You've shown me sights I will never see in person
We need a slow cook soon.:)
It's nice to see you are human after all and eat junk food once in awhile lol.
Just so you know, you could do nothing but sit in your van with your puppy and we'd all watch❤!
i've been on a cross country road trip for the past 11 days, my hat is off to you for living the nomadic lifestyle and for doing it so well. I am very tired, and very much look forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight lol
I cooked some pinto beans in MY Foodi today.
So beautiful thanks for taking us on your adventures
Man you done packed a punch of good entertainment for this one! I feel like you've become a master of your own channel.
I would be too afraid of bears to walk these trails. But they are beautiful, and thanks for being the window to this world of wilderness

As a mother, your videos raise my anxiety level. 😂😂
Just amazing the ambient noise between wilderness and city. So much of it we never notice in our daily lives. We become so insensitive to it.. take quiet back country for granted.
Great video man. Nt sure I could sleep with that constant noise you have ! haha
