My first vehicle when I turned 16 back in 83 was a 73 c10!! 2 wheel drive. In-line 6 with 3 on the tree… I drove the wheels off that truck… wish I still had it…. Your truck is beautiful!!!! I saw the sweet patina booth at LS fest in Kentucky, where I live… it’s a great product
looks great...I've found that for my first wash before starting patina preservation washing with a blue or red dish scrub pad and a very diluted CLR application, it helps for knocking down the surface rust...between applications I've found that dawn dish detergent does a good job of prepping for a fresh coat of sweet patina.
Great video! This is really helpful the product looks amazing. It’s a shame there isn’t anything really available in the uk like that. Keep up the great content dude
Hey, man! Thanks buddy. Great to hear from you. I would suggest the Sweet Patina’s Patina Sauce over any wipe-on clear coat. This “sauce” is an enhancer and protector. Hope to see ya around soon! Tell your Dad I said hello.
Gotta say Robbie, when you first introduced "Mississippi Mud" I thought WTF... but as I followed the build of this truck, I began to see your vision. I can relate to this truck, as I have a 1989 Silverado with a Blueprint 383 stroker. Also has Black Widow, Widow Maker mufflers...🏁🏁🏁
I think you should cut the rear bumper down to a third of the depth. That way you still have the original dealer name on it... 😎 Another great video Robbie
So are you ever gonna do anything with that old Apache you guys nabbed in Idaho? Or is it gonna go to the wayside since it's not a SqUaaaAaRe-BodY? It was really hopeful when you picked that one up, but since we haven't seen anything... i have to assume it's either gone or you aren't gonna build it
Seriously, it would be GREAT if you did something that isn't a square... i know there's Teddy, but we haven't had an update in a really long time on that one, then you've got Mud and UBTK5, both squares! Build that Apache, ASAP, then bring it up to Minnesota in June of next year for the Back to the Fifties car show, you WON'T be disappointed. 50th anniversary of BTTF, all 1964 and older cars and trucks, probably the biggest car show you'll EVER see
I own a Montana mud, red custom d. 87 454 long 2wheeler 155k miles. Just found a 4 wheeler red 4x4 3/4 ton red sub. Same year. What do I do? Maybe go 3/4 ton 4x4.?
We haven't but it's the spot at the top where the hood met fender. Sanded to metal and sprayed with a rust accelerator concoction. Chruchill took the lead on that but maybe we can get a tutorial on it soon.
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS would love to see that. Have a lightly patina truck that needs a couple fillers where I have to pull fuel tanks and camper special hooks that would be awesome to try and get to blend to the existing patina.
How far is it safe to let the surface rust go? I am considering this look on my 2002 Silverado, as the clear is coming off and the roof already has some bare surface rust spots. Thinking about sanding the roof to remove any deep rust and remaining clear, letting it rust slightly and then put this sauce on it. Thoughts? Will the sauce keep the rust from getting worse?
I like the way the whole build came together. The finish looks good.

Very cool! I was actually born in ‘83. I guess I’ve loved these trucks from the beginning. Thanks for the kind words on the truck!
I have already comer washed my 74 square. Plan on using sweet patina when it’s on the road.
Interesting color combo with the interior and outside color , LOVE the truck!
Looks great man! I like the rich low gloss finish. Can’t wait to see this truck in person!
Great truck. Glad we got to talk with you in person about it.
That looks so Good! I loved mud before but now it’s so much better.
That looks so good, I honestly didn't think it would be that drastic of a difference!
Im a big fan of the channel! Been watching for years. Keep up the good work and the great videos!!
Thanks! Will do!

Can’t wait to see progress on your crew cab. You gotta bring it to Dino’s one of these years.
One of these days!
Patina Sauce looks good on Mississippi Mud.
Triple crown of rodding this weekend at Nashville Super speedway.. like to see your crew there..
I'm old enough to remember when rust surface rust was considered ugly and bad, know its considered kool.
Chrome bumpers would look real nice on this truck👌
Just wait til you see what i have in store
Yo! It's Alex Dingler. Congratulations on the channels success. Good stuff. I'm looking for the right "sauce" for my truck.

The finished result looks great, my favourite truck from your fleet Robbie 😉👍
Thank you Robbie! Mud is a badass truck

Love the look. Excited to be partnering with @sweetpatina on my junkyard dog c10 and my 57 task force soon
We need a up date on TTR truck, "whats in my drive way" kept up the great videos
Looking forward to seeing this in person tomorrow. 🤘
I just haven't been able to bring myself to do it.

Damn that interior is soooo good!
Looks great . I’m going to do that on my brothers 67 c10. Also .. your greys are growing faster than your browns ! Lol
I need to see more of this truck. One of the nicest square bodies on the internet!
I think you should cut the rear bumper down to a third of the depth. That way you still have the original dealer name on it... 😎 Another great video Robbie
What a awesome truck that turned out great man!
My Dream Truck
Looks fantastic!!
Looks killer love Sweet Patina!
Looking sweet!
Thank you!
Looks good and sounds even better, but mate what's the go with the Crocs 😮 TTR is pullin yah leg on those 😅
I agree, no clear coat on patina.
I second that!!!🤢🤢
Matte clear would work probably, but gloss is just wrong.
Love that truck , it would fit in anywhere you go
wow that thing POPS now!!!!
I'm so pumped!
Really wanna see a suburban build!
When you started the video, I was like, he’s going to clear coat it 🤢
But that finish is perfect
Is the old k30 going to be in the channel any I love that truck or the old suburban I love the color of it too
Y'all have a lot to learn
Looks amazing
Love it 🔥🔥🔥
You didn't "Cue the Music"? Probably because of the Crocs. They mess with people's heads.
Loved the Sauce getting Mud! 😂
Are you guys coming for Dino's this year?
Can't believe you waited this long 😅
Thx for the video.
You are right there at 100k Robbie glad to see it great channel 👍
Came out great. What is the nub coming out of the passenger fender?

You need to put a sport bumper on it!
Have you done any videos on how you helped that passenger side fender along?
We haven't but it's the spot at the top where the hood met fender. Sanded to metal and sprayed with a rust accelerator concoction. Chruchill took the lead on that but maybe we can get a tutorial on it soon.

Love the truck. What drop do you have on it.

Tell me about the red wall tires please. Where can I get some?
Diamondback Tires
Whatever happened yo john and the truck farm
What kind of wheels
Where are y’all located
👍👍
Should have given it the CLR treatment first
Always time for that. I’m happy with these results
✌🤙
Gloss clear coat on patina is the worst!
Best way to preserve patina: paint it.
The shoes till me all I need to know you can't handle it
Patina is for lazy people who just want an excuse not to keep their vehicles clean. 💯
Your channel has gone down hill .
I agree, to me he is the guy with the money and really doesn’t know how to work on trucks
