The good news is that you are showing me all the work I still need to do before body work. The bad news is that you are showing me all the work I still need to do before body work. The chassis work is killer as well. Either way, I cant say enough about how much I appreciate your channel. Cheers Mike, Big Steve and Carrapila..... WHATS FOR LUNCH?
Welcome to the class
Lokochon gonna be making brackets for days on that ol dog! Mike just a suggestion may want to heat an old socket to cut your body mount bolt holes like you do carpet for seat belts in a car. Your way works good too.
Absolutely the best work I have ever seen. It must be lonely at the top.
I was having withdrawals 😂😂😂
Good show 👏 👍
What engine is going in this rod is it modern or old time
The part nobody sees here ~ even finding and acquiring a solid decent '36 Coupe to turn into the next Bello's Lokochon Kustom...great cam work Big Steve !
Cool, thanks and thanks for watching
Big Steve
I like Mikes channel cause there's no unnecessary blabbering 😊
My favorite catch phrase, I don’t know what I’m doing but it’ll be perfect when I’m done!
Hey Mike, who was one of your favorite builders growing up. Thanks Mike.
Mike's attention to detail is unsurpassed. Most shops would just make a giant cover sheet for the firewall not fill in each individual holes. Amazing craftsmanship
Anything you can do to minimize the work once the bodies painted is good. And if it means bolting it back to the frame to do it so be it. That all comes from experience and I think you have a ton of that as a shown in your videos. As always, very informative and great video work. Not said enough, but it is much appreciated. Living vicariously through your videos thanks again.
The last 36 I worked on had nothing left below the lower hinge. Jealous of the nice cars you start with. Always a joy to see one of Mike's videos pop up. I have been at this for 50 years this year and am still learning form folks like you. The torch is the rusty bolt equalizer
I'm a home hobbyist. I'm working on a 69 chevelle. . got weeks just in the trunk. These videos show that this stuff takes time. Good hands
Bad news😢 If you don’t know what you’re doing, no body knows because you’re a genius! Love your channel!!
I also don't know what I'm doing but I won't put a single port master cylinder on a disc brake system, especially with a Caddy motor. Make sure the owner has good insurance!
Nothing but LOKOCHON Style!
Man I have watched this 36 chassis build at least three times and look forward to the body work and it is here now! Yes! Kudos from a northern LocoChon!!
Finally mikes back! I missed Sundays watching bellos. Always great stuff
Cavron mike .. its about time carnal... " STOP FUCKING AROUND"😂😂😂😂
Mike, you are truly a craftsman! I enjoy watching your videos, thanks for sharing your passion with us.
Another Chingon episode!!! Bad ass builds
Almost look like you know what you’re doing 😂😂. Seriously beautiful work as always, you make it look easy, crack up every time at the “instructor voice “ lol
The house is only as good as it's foundation as I was told by an autobody man.
Mike you going to the Santa Maria 2024 national this year
I wait all week for Sunday mornin Mike ... Lot of guys learn the hard way and do metal work off the frame ... always wondered what all the noise was ... another cool video ...
Mike doesnt take it to the next level, he is the next level.
Mike makes it all look so easy, that’s the sign of a great craftsman…
I see the Phillips 66 Sign on the back wall. Grew up in Brissy C1960's.Lived in Leafy Bardon, I remember quite clealy just down thwe road at the Junction we had a Phillips 66 Garage
WAIT..WAIT ! what happened to the Packard -37 and Chevy -35 ?? Don't just cut us off whithout showing the end result .
There's a UA-cam short video on this Bellos channel with the 35 Chevy painted in satin. Came out killer.
THAT WAS NICE MIKE! PERO COMO DISE LA RAZA! ( QUE CHULADA ) WHEN YOUR DOING THE LITTLE THINGS, THOSE ARE THE ONES THAT JUMP OUT AT YOU! THE WAY YOU PLUM THOSE AIR BAGS LINES NICE HALE MIKE! THEN DROPPING THAT MODERN MOTOR & TRANS! NO CHINGES! THAT BOMBITA WITH A NICE PAINT JOB, CRUISING THE BLVD. OR JUST SLAMMED TO THE GROUND! ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON! KEEP DROPPING THE VIDEOS. ADIOS....
So nice to you guys back!! Great job!!!
I hit the like button before I watch so I don't forget.
Hey LocoChon........ Make sure you give Carapilla some of that special Pachuco sauce for his taco's at Lunchtime! That way he gets a second wind and gets down it before 5 pm....... 👊👍
I never realized the component removal and re-assembly for sandblasting. Nice illustration with the camera work and as always It's the awesome detailed workmanship that makes the cars to be head turners.
Excelente como siempre...sos el uno indiscutible
Clean Clean Pinky Ring Homie 👌🤙🏼
Hell yea. Looking good
Subscribed from the far east side at Cape Cod. Looks like an old Caddy or Olds motor
Greetings to Mike, Carapilla & Big Steve from Big John all the way from Pembroke Dock thank you for another great video 🛠️
Hello big John. I ventured across the boarder last weekend 21 04 24. I came down to sunny Chepstow race course for a show. It was a nice and relaxing day. Cheers Tim.
So.... wats for Lunch👍🏼🚙😎clean shop clean work‼️‼️
Great job Mike.
Impressive skills and gets it done...
For a guy that claims to not know what he's doing, his logic is pretty sound! Love the fun you have building these dream rides.
Another very informative video well done👍my Sunday ends well👌
Every morn I wake up I close my eyes and pray real hard there is a new video,I get so f'n excited when there is! I could watch this all day ,and that's saying alot. What needs to happen to get 2 videos every week? I'm sure every viewer would be happy to pay $1 to $3a month to pay for big Scott to make that happen. West side till I die.
Great process and talent. No shortcuts to make it safe and right. Another great Sunday at Bellos Institute. Thank you All. My favorite utube.
Love the attention to detail, like filling in holes in the firewall. Gotta be clean clean pinky ring. Salut all the Lokochonies out here! ❤
Yo LocoKhon you got a lot of LocoKhon`s working and doing some Bad Ass LocoKhon work get down Mike El Chingon and to all If you Follow Bello`s Protocol he has a Procedure And Homies it is working Shot out to Bid Steve and Carrapila and all of Bello`s LocoKhon`s Peace out The Crazy Old Man In The Yucatan
is it good or bad...but I'm getting addicted to these videos, I believe I'm turning into a old ranfla Lokochon. great work, guys.
Hey…nothing wrong with doing it how you want to do it. That’s what makes it right in your eyes in what you do! The cars always come out as masterpieces! 😎✌🏻
Lol I find that I'm by myself in the shop using my shop teacher voice..."what we're gonna do now....."
Hey Mike , your videos of the 36 are helping me on my 35 . I take pictures of pertinent areas that I have to rebuild on mine from your videos. That’s tight work that you do. Keep them coming.
Mike is so meticulous in the mechanicals, love it! The only thing I would have done differently is have a dedicated sacrificial socket sharpened like a punch. Heat the socket with a small torch and use it like a punch for all those frame holes. It will also keep the the bedding from fraying all in one step. Great for rugs too.
Your concept on how you do things in a step by step.is well done one of best out there love my Sunday s washing your show haveing a cup of coffee ☕
Mike, your a master at this craft, I wait e very week for your videos
FIRST THING! you look much younger con las greñas cortadas. Sending props on the attention to detail, but most importantly I'm glued to the channel, because I have learned quite a bit just from watching. And I'm a seasoned veteran. Watching with a much loved pragmatic approach. Love and share the channel often. Kudos loco!
I do bodywork the same way. I just paint the chassis when the body comes back off for paint. Look forward to each episode ✌️
Homie I am from the East side. East Coast of Scotland 🏴
Good video. I learn something from you every video.
Hay Mike can never get enough of watching you, such a craftsman.😊 a little tip when doing brake or fuel lines, pull them through a piece of wood with hole drilled through, makes the lines nice and straight for bending.😊😊
I just watched Mike Tidwell the firewall from the inside with the heat going down and it was just like artistry and I thought to myself. I wonder if he’s got a book or pamphlet or something of the all the cars or least some of the cars that he’s done finished, I would, really be interested in buying a copy or seeing something of the work that he’s done he’s a goddamn artist entertainer makes everything look so easy thank you. I’m thoroughly impressed with him the more I see.
time for a rotisserie
Love this channel!!
Kein ding für die neben Geräusche das ist halt so in einer Werkstatt, super Arbeit und Video wie immer. 🥰👍
The shop is nice and bright with the new lighting. Putting the body on the frame makes sense. You do it your way don't worry about those haters out there, you do you homie .
I like the warm natural light in the old videos.🤷🏻♂
I have been a mechanic here in England for thirty odd years and one of the guys I work with has a set of pipe pliers like yours and I used them a few times and found them brilliant so recently baught a set ,,,borrow twice then buy once ....
Got to say these are some of the best vids on UA-cam, you are a true master fabricator,
Love your work 🇦🇺🦘
Not a shadow in the shop. Thanks for making my week.
As always Mike your work is nuthin but perfection. For you people who have not subscribed yet what you waiting for. These big Steve productions are way better than what you see on regular television . Keep up the great work and as always I look forward to seeing the next video #Westside#Tadow💪🏽
That's a huge compliment, thank you.
Big Steve
Mike has talked me into buying so many tools, and I don't even work on my own cars. LOL!
good job man 👍💪
Bellows in other words get more locochon! On it
1936 ford three window and 1932 ford roadsters are my favourite body styles. What you got up your sleeve for this one carrapila. Chop and front end treatment. Or just a chop. Or a stock body? I’m sure you and Mike can sort it. Big Steve don’t worry about the noise from next door, it’s not your fault. Take care all and looking forwards to next week.
Your car when it goes from Bellows Stage One to Bellows Stage Three.
👍🤘🤙
Had to work this morning but I'm watching you now bro
Great video work of a true craftsman at work!
Agree with your reasoning on attaching body to frame prior to finalizing bodywork. With only webbing in between, all that metal has a "memory" that has to be respected. Later models that have rubber biscuits between body and frame present yet another set of variables because they change shape over time in a non-uniform way.
Would it be easier to put a hot sharpened rod through the webbing when prepping the body bolts ?
Mike did it again "homie style" 😎🤘
I really like the build videos. Thanks for posting!!
"What makes sense to you makes sense."Very good job.
Hey home you must have went to vato Locos Barrios Academy Street and Chop Chop build.🤙🏽👍🏼🤟🏽😎👏🏽👏🏽
if You have been doing it for many years and it works, why change now. I have watched Your videos and You do know what You are doing, so keep doing the great jobs You have done in the past and the jobs You are doing now and in the years to come.
.... can't cut corners, when dealing with gaps of eight of an inch or so....custom or auto work should have and "keep" gaps....if not, then the caterpillars is in trouble....no more tacos.....
It would be cool to hear yall talk about yalls dream cars.
If I won the lotto. My dream machine is a 34 ford coupe from the suicide door forward 34 ford and from the door back a 36 ford then widen it (wider than a 49 merc) make it wider longer than a zephyr
W/. M. Bello’s badge on it all cholocon draggin axels Rolling art
Bonsoir, très bonne méthode de tout remonter et ajuster pour un bon travail. Bonne continuation. 👍
It is always a pleasure watching a master craftsman at work. Mike, you do fine work, ese! Big Steve sure does some good camera work as well. I like sparks thrown at me, tambien 😂
The background noise just adds to the authenticity of the shops dynamic 💯
Cool, thanks
Big Steve
Looks great Mike and I’m from the East Coast Very KOOL
It seems like I can't get enough of these videos. I know it takes a lot of effort on both ends of the camera to make them. Anyhow, I look forward to seeing a new one every week and have learned a few tricks here and there. When I was still wrenching the only cordless thing I had was a cordless drill, and now everything is cordless and seems to have as much power as air. Anyhow, thanks to all for making these great videos.
Chingon Cacheton !
Mike; if you don't know what you're doing, then we're all fucked!
Hey Mike, use a soldering iron to make the holes in the frame tape,, works a treat
Always nice to se a profs working .😊😊😊
Chingon carnal todo locochon 💪🏾👌🏾
Amazing thank you
Dale shine! Breakfast tacos and Bello's!!!
Hooo non puoi stare assente per tutto questo tempo . la domenica sera se non c’è un tuo video non è domenica 😊😂
